It's time Reno take some days off on the internet, his constant tactics of pitching tribes against each other is getting boring and distasteful. |

Politics › Re: Economic Hardship: Before You Put All Your Blame On Tinubu. by Usmanovic95(m): 9:41am On Oct 27, 2023 |
Rich4god: Now after handover, like I said earlier, Tinubu made a mistake by saying "subsidy is gone" in his inaugural speech. That phrase sent our nation into panic and it affected the general price balance of virtually all commodity.
Economically speaking, in the absence of any form of major income, the only way to keep paying subsidy is to borrow money since we don't have money. Now borrowing will further compound the problem.
Same way, to keep defending the naira against USD is to keep borrowing as the major way that we get FX is already cut off. So the naira can't be defended. And because there is no major income from crude oil, the only thing giving our naira hope is our diaspora remittance and some other exports that mostly individual organisation do. The major source of FX is no longer coming and so the naira has nothing to hold on to.
Am not a supporter of Tinubu, but after taking a critical look at our nations situation. There is nothing aside MORE BORROWING that any other person can do to salvage the naira. Any other policy is going to be long term, but for the short term, our currency will experience free fall due to the mismanagement of the last admin. Tinubu said he will continue from where Buhari stop? That should tell you he never sees Buhari's policy as an issue and he like hold Buhari in high regard. Secondly, the present chief of staff Hon Gbajabiamila was the speaker of house of assembly, my question is did he give consent to the mindless borrowing? Obviously he did, this should tell you Tinubu as well was privy to it. This should tell it is still the same people who are regrouping. Lastly, cost of governance has never been this high. Its obvious for all to see. |

LikeAking: Peter Obi was as too desperate…
If he was patient, he would have teamed up with Atiku to defeat Tinubu.. Same way Tinubu teamed with with Buhari to defeat GEJ..
Defeating an incumbent is not beans anywhere in the world..
The Agulu man just dash Tinubu presidency..
Tinubu would have lost this election if not for PO’s lack of tact and unreasonable political strategy..
Imagine a whole Tinubu loosing Lagos..
I still blame PO for all we are suffering in Nigeria today…
Same PDP that gave Hume the fame.. PO messed up..
At the end nothing come out..
PO gained nothing..
He achieved nothing…
I blame Peter Obi.. Can you please tell me the outcome of 2019 when Atiku contested alongside P.O with stalwart support from wike and kwankwaso against a lacklustered Buhari. Its like you guys still don't get the memo that INEC is a compromised body.No matter how formidable a candidate is if they are against you just forget. Tinubu wasn't just shouting EMILOKAN for the fun of it. |

Romance › Re: My Girlfriend Is On Her 8th Abortion. I Feel Bad About It. by Usmanovic95(m): 6:58pm On Oct 25, 2023 |
aisha1314: In as much as I'm pro choice and don't have anything against abortion, this both shocks and disgusts me honestly. For anyone to have this many abortions is nothing but irresponsibility at it's peak.
Every sensible person knows that the withdrawal method alone is not reliable contraception at all. There's a joke that goes "What do you call people who use pulling out as birth control? Ans: Parents" Nobody in their right mind uses pulling out only, constantly and expects not to get pregnant at one point. Why couldn't you use condoms, how much do they cost anyways? Much cheaper than an abortion I should assume. And they're not hard to use and don't (contrary to what some think) affect sex. And why couldn't the girl whose had these 8 abortions get on some form of contraception herself, assuming you guys decided not to use condoms? Women have more than 10 effective but reversible methods to choose from so there's no excuse for this. There's a method of contraception to fit every woman's health and lifestyle. I'm normally not a judgemental person but in this case I'm just so shocked that someone can be this irresponsible. And yes, I do think you guys should break up since you can't together be responsible about your sex life. My dear you fall my hand sha,why would you suggest break up for the duo. You want another man to suffer the consequences of this OP and his babe reckless past. Will you wish your loved one settle for a girl like the OP's girlfriend? |

Funny how the latter won the election.

If we the government can fix the refinery,Fix power and security, half of our problems is solved. The interplay of these key factors will attract foreign investors who will use their dollar to source more for our naira.Nigeria has the largest market in Africa, but high cost of production and insecurity has make it economically unsafe for investment. We can possibly partner with foreign automobile and other heavy industrial company to set up an assembling plant here. If the government can put this to effect this will not only crash the demand for dollar,it will also create employment opportunities and local producers will benefit by collaborating with the plants and also poach some talent and add to their rank.
Nigeria has the potential but our leaders are not ready to harness the potentials to achieve economic growth not to talk of development. |
