I want to go into IT and want someone who can teach me software skills from scratch. This person must be dedicated and based in Onitsha. |
These are the kinda limiting mindsets that has made a lot of people miss opportunities of a life time. In my opinion, life is for the living, Bleep karma! Do what you can to make the best of this life. Fear of the unknown has never helped anyone.. |
I don't have any background in accounting but it took a lot of back to back studying. It took me 2 months. CIMA is not so bad if you're determined. Materials for study are available in the CIMA thread. quote author=Stencil post=86815638]Congratulations! Time to dive into the pool. I wish you a smooth journey from here on out! Few questions about CIMA if you don’t mind. This would help others make an informed decision How did you find CIMA in general? Do you have a background in accounting? What was your prep like? How long did you study? Any tips/tricks? Thanks!
|
Just to encourage someone here. I finished writing my CIMA exams in December and started evaluating immediately. My WES report just came out today and it's the equivalent of 1 year college degree. |

Please anyone who has an idea of this issue should help. It's been 26 days since I received a mail from British Council that my EOR processing has started. It's been too long. Does it usually take this long? I've sent them a mail four days ago but they have refused to reply. Somebody help! |

Visit www.hellofax.com register a free account and get 5 free faxes. Use one to send your document to WES and remember to include your reference number in the cover page of the fax. Google wes fax number and you will get the fax number to send it to. Ucheraymond: |
Lool I understand. His transcript was still being analyzed and evaluated before he sent the certificate through hellofax yesterday. Today morning it changed to 'we received a new document for your application' then this night they now changed it back to 'we are analyzing and evaluating..., checking for accuracy and completeness, we will request for additional documents or issue an estimated date'. So unlike mine, they won't place his application on hold for lack of certificate, they'll just give an estimated date of completion. Jolieee post=85652946]Great news! Prior to sending his certificate did his account show "certificate pending"? After they accepted can you tell us what his account looks like? Did they now list transcript accepted & Certificate accepted, did they provide a completion date? Sorry for my plenty questions... 'just want to know what I might expect ahead of me...
|
Really You should have used hellofax. My cousin got his certificate yesterday and sent it via hello fax. They acknowledged receipt today.DexterousOne post=85650912] I sent a copy of my certificate to WES on I believe 12th December... It's been on the road since
|

Thanks. quote author=Utoechi post=85645993]Please let people that have received their certificates kindly share their timelines as a way of encouraging people like us whose transcripts have been accepted and our applications placed on hold because the certificate is not available yet.
|

Am in the same boat with you. Waiting for certificate. when did you finish? Have you contacted CIMA to find out how far with the certificate? quote author=Jolieee post=85478689] Wao! Is your WES evaluation out?... please share the goodnews and keep our hopes high/motivate us... I am still waiting for certificate so I can forward to WES, then start my count down for sure .
|
Thanks for the best wishes. I would never ever undermine your efforts or the impact you make therein because I saw how you helped most people in the group with their essays. I simply didn't participate because I was already on another path. Its just sad that some of the admins in the group want more than helping people and seeing them succeed. May all our hopes and dreams be fulfilled indeed. wasseynewest: |
Oh Kay! I now understand why I was removed from the IELTS group. I was in the group quite alright and I will not say that I learnt a single thing cos I got some reading materials from a member of the group, but I was almost not involved in the group at all because I had a short time to prepare for the test and I was immersed in my private tutorials. Thank God say man no be God if not nobody will go to Canada without bowing down to some people. Because I didn't acknowledge your group, you deleted me even without giving time for me to correct any errors. As a matter of fact I didn't use the group's method and I can't lie to make you feel good. I made 9977 without being in your group so don't force me to do your biddings. Keep lording over the ones in your group, you can't do that to me. yemblaze: |
This post is about my much awaited IELTS victory. Am grateful to God for giving me LRSW 97.57.57.5 in my third attempt after 9977 and 8877. I was stuck at 7 for writing and speaking. Because I never liked writing practice essays before test day, I avoided all the tutors that were advertised on this platform. At some point, I contacted johnnybravo, bought his book and even paid for a session of speaking practice. All these happened before God sent me an angel during our CIMA waka. I told her about my IELTS struggle and she told me she tutors for writing and speaking and she could give me a discount because I helped her through CIMA. I was skeptical at first because of the practice writing but her encouragement was on another level lool. She opened my eyes to the reasons why I was stuck at 7, taught me how to write better essays and get more marks in speaking. Long story short, 14th December reading tried to kill my shine but God had better plans for me. With this score, I'll be at 471 when WES completes my CIMA evaluation! |
Spousal sponsorship does not depend on your job. You only have to show that you are surviving atleast. It's not like they care about how much you are earning. In my opinion, some months of surviving without spouse is worth sacrificing for a better future for the entire family. Just my one cent i Pwinkle1: |
Thank you! Say 3 months of rigorous studying Liispa: |
