When we accuse some men of having girlfriend or side chick or marrying a second wife, this is one major cause. You marry a woman finish like this, she just stopped performing her responsibilities. Na wa o!

Things are changing.
In primitive society, men hunt/farm. Women cook.
In olden days, men go to office and earn More salary than women. Single salary can cover all the needs of the house. Women cooked.
Now, they have done education, equal rights equal pay. Women earn same or even higher than men. You can't expect this new type of woman to sit at home and cook for you.
If you insist, she will want to practice her career and then get exhausted working in the office.
If you don't want her to work in office, then you the man, have to earn sufficient money to cover all the needs of the house.
I have a friend that does this. He commanded his wife to use her salary to take care of her own parents and siblings and don't use any of her money in his house as he doesn't need it. So she knows clearly that she is NOT supporting him financially and she cooks without complaining.

GRACEGLORY:
As simple as cooking sounds, it could be difficult when either of the party is tired. Many women burn water on fire let alone foods. And some house getting burnt could have been saved if a tired person had not forgotten food on fire as a result of being tired.

It is the job of the husband and wife to manage the house, which includes cooking and providing revenue for the household. If both husband and wife work, they should share cooking responsibilities. If only the husband works, the wife is responsible for cooking; however, the husband should assist her in cooking. Here in lies wisdom.

It's all about shared responsibilities.
Someone mentioned yahoo boys above. Probably the yahoo guy earns all the money and pays all the bills . That's why the girl will cook for him.
Once a woman is dragged into working to add income into the household, then she will definitely claim tired. If the man wants his wife to cook daily, then he should earn money such that he pays all the bills comfortably and madam doesn't have to work as well.

You need to understand and accept that Nigeria is a conflict.
USA is totally different. It was formed under very different circumstances.
Well educated British soldiers escaped from England by ship and went to US. They refused to return back even when threatened by the king of England. They all japad from Europe to form the US. So automatically, they will be patriotic to their nation. They will all protect its unity and integrity with their blood.

Nigeria was never a people, just numerous tribes and villages minding their business. It is British tied us together as one nation and then left us independence.

The most local villager does not know what patriotism is. He only knows his language and culture.
In the USA, the most dumbest and local person, knows what patriotism is, and why he is in US and how they gained their independence from UK. They know that US is not their land, that they stole it from the local native Indians and they don't have any villages or culture.
