Whether legal or not, something just has to be done to check the current hardship being experienced by the citizens over availability of the product.

Yesterday was one of my angriest days as a Nigerian.

Left home as early as 10am to queue up at an NNPC station. To my chagrin, it appeared I was moving just about a few inches forward per hour on the queue. I was literally making no progress at all and time was approaching 5pm.

Left where I was and drove towards the gate, and there, what I saw made me wonder if there's really hope for this nation. Every official stationed at the gate to ensure things are done rightly were the very people making sure NOTHING is done rightly! From Road Safety, to Police, to the the station employees, EVERYONE was taking bribes and allowing folks jump and shunt the queue! From what I saw, there was absolutely no way I'd get to get in if I didn't bribe my way through!

Yet we open our loud mouths to complain about government corruption!

I made up my mind I wasn't gonna be involved in any of that. Made a u-turn and drove to another station nearby, OFICON, whom I heard were selling at the official rate.

Now, I joined the queue and hoped that time, i'd get my juice and get the hell out of there, get home and get some rest so I'd have sufficient energy to groove later in the club.

Now, Guess why the guys were selling at official rate: DPR official were in the premises.

Guess how much fuel they were dispensing to motorists: 10L max!

Eventually, DPR left and to my utmost surprise, these guys wound back their meters to 230naira per litre!! Guess what more, you could, this time, buy a full tank if you please!

Now, it was about 7:15pm!!!

With so much pain and anger in my mind, i drove in and filled my tank, and swore I'd NEVER patronise that station ever again.

This is probably the same sadenning experience millions of Nigerians go through daily. It is depressing to be honest.

This subsidy nonsense was one of the major undoings of the Jonathan's regime and if Buhari isn't careful, it might consume him as well.

At this stage in our National experience, we shouldn't be dealing with an issue such as this for God's sake. It is not right!

on the second week of May, I started feeling weak and that's the normal way I feel whenever I'm about to have malaria. I got a malaria drug (coartem) to use and after some days, I felt relieved but didn't know the sickness was just about to start.
I began experiencing severe pain in my
abdomen and getting tired from within. I knew I had to go to the hospital.
On getting to state hospital, ijaye abeokuta on the 31st of may this year, I went through widal test, blood tests, urinalysis and was placed on cipro for 5 days, with diazepam and pcm. I felt relieved after the 3rd day of using the drugs with little side effects.
After 2 weeks, I started having relapse again,
I became a regular patient having visited the state hospital ijaye more than 12 times with prescription sheet each time and blood tests, scans, urinalysis, stool test, RVs, liver test and so on.
Each day the pain became so severe, and the tiredness so overwhelming that i could hardly get out of bed but with the help of my darling wife I was able to get to hospital each time.
Soon it became impossible for me to live a normal life. The pain and tiredness became so debilitating that my work suffered for more than 3 months. I was also referred to a specialist hospital (FMC).

If you have suffered with any of these health conditions or similar ones, you will understand the extreme pain and discomfort she was in. In order to cope with the depression and anxiety, i went to hospital for different injections and was also taking many different types of strong painkillers and sedatives.
On top of this i developed blocked ear, this caused such excruciating pain, it was as if being stabbed directly through the left ear into the head.
later I developed vision problem, had to stay indoor with curtains down and the best way i enjoyed myself was in sleeping position.
later again I had breathing problem that I couldn't take 5 steps without breathing heavily and it was due to side effects of all the drugs I had use.
My daily thoughts consisted of “How can this be?” “What did I do to deserve this?” and so on because being in pain for 5 months and all the tests and scans i did shows nothing. Even the eye test shows nothing.

To cut the long story short, I never believed I could see today 25th December 2017.
here I am today hale and healthy. I am not on any drug whatsoever. I didn't even use drugs for my vision, neither did I use for my ear.
I just want to appreciate the Almighty God for sparing my life and cleansing me of any sickness because I know some friends that died experiencing 10% of what I experienced, despite not being holy, he kept me through.
