May God save Us from our own self destruction. Even the other buildings around that place still look sub-standard and could come down anytime soon given the impact of the collasped building to the ground. And Nigerians can be unreasonable, why stand on the collasped building again? Is it that people do not value their lives? |
1cor2v9:True broo....Till today no feedback. But then I dont think one should be discouraged. It wont cost anything applying, we all have access to the internet. |
Mehn...Dino is a dramatist. The most dramatic politician Nigeria has ever had. Dude will do well in Nollywood. Thinking of all those stunts he pulled during his arrest, claiming to be sick and all. Though the guy is loved, APC really helped his victory. |
ize4:Its a pity that your hatred for the South East has even affected your grammar. Online nonentity! |
My own is... why is it called camel toe? I mean, of all things there is, camel toe kwa? SMH. Is that how the toe of a camel looks? Ayam not understanding. |
Rsk1:Yes, you cant subvert the will of the people and expect them not to cry out. By what magic do you really think that anybody who has not performed in office and who has suddenly constituted himself into a god will be returned back to office if not through a faulty process? When the people desire for a change in status quo, everybody around will know. Nobody changes a winning team. So if a government that did not perform in its first tenure mysteriously finds its way back to power, then by all means, the process that brought them back to power should be questioned. |
Larryslim:Lol...and how do U cancel what you have already received? What pple are trying to say is that they should have just kept quiet and not said anything. Again, outright cancellation would be a hasty action, rather, the order may just be played on hold pending the investigation. However, I even understand that there are many orders that have been placed and Air peace may not be top on the list. |
Men10:This may not be true in its entirety. The men in question lost the support of their people. I am from Imo state and I make bold to say that no sensible Imo person apart from perhaps, those that are related to Rochas will vote him into any position in the state. Rochas is a big disappointment and did nothing for the people of Imo. That explains his desperation to foist his son-in-law on the people and for him to go to the senate. It was in the public domain right from the day of the announcement of the result that the returning officer raise the alarm that he was held hostage. The video clip of the mans interview is on BBC News. You can watch it on youtube. |
So happy seeing this. CockROACHAS Okoroawusa cannot be taking everybody for a ride and hope to get away with it. It is a pity how a man who enjoyed so much goodwill of the people and emerged governor despite all the odds stacked against by the then government in the state, could loose such followership. You really dont bite the hands that fed you. Rochas did, and its back to bite his ass. I think he should be preparing to face the EFCC after May 29th. |
bligs:Ok thanks. But for the course, Social work and Sociology are closely related. Infact in some schools both are fused together. Both look at the same areas in terms of social justice, human right, individual behaviour, environmental influence on behaviour, issues on socialization and resocializations, crime, deliquent behaviour, etc. I think the only set back here is finance. |
Uzee24:Can someone please helpout here? |
Lolz...if I hear. This is village people at work. Beta remote control. They just used the election as an excuse. What good has the country done for the guy to warrant his flying down to Nigeria to come and vote. If the country was so good, am sure he wouldnt have had any business going to Mozambique in the first instance. Nigeria is not worth dying for. RIP to the dead. |
. |
Well...the victory is for the people of Kwara. Not Gbemi. She has a personal vandetta with Bukola, everyone knows that. I am sure she is only making noise so APC can give her some crumbs from the table. |
It is a pity. This is bad PR for ethiopian airline. May their souls rest. |
Good day House, I am new here. I have a first degree in Sociology and interested in applying for a Masters in Social Work in Australia. However, my limitation seem to be in terms of funds knowing schools in Aussie dont come cheap. I have a budget of like 12M, self sponsored though. However, my doubt is if I will be able to get the grant after I must have paid part of my tuition to the school for CoE from that very sum. School of interest is WSU with a yearly fee of $25400. Secondly, will it be possible to raise my second year fees while working as a student(20hrs/week), knowing that i am not expecting any support from back home, no extra sponsor jus me? Again, does the embassy still request for SoA from AL1 schools, as I noticed that sometime in 2017, they started asking for it though randomly, from students who got their CoE from AL1 schools. Asking because WSU is AL2. Thanks in anticipation. |
Good Day House, There seem to be a new trend of refusal reasons this days. Not that it is entirely new, but it is fast becoming a reoccuring ground for refusal. That is refusal ground on ''Personal assest and Finacial status''. What I really dont understand is what else they want or what they really require of the applicant based on the stated reason. Despite the fact that applicants go ahead to present evidence like documents of landed properties either belonging to them or their parents, VOs still go ahead to tick personal assest. Same goes for the financial status too. With evidence of income and proof of being able to foot the bills in Canada, they still go ahead to tick this. What really do they want from applicants as regards this reason or is it just part of the generic response? |
Truth is both disciplines have their areas of difficulty. If you study well you would definately do well irrespective of whether you are a science or art student. However science is closed-ended while arts is open-ended. Science deals alot more with rules, principles, formulars, etc. If you understand the rules or principles governing a particular problem, you can solve it. Thats why an answer to maths or physics question will always be the same whether it is solved in china, america or nigeria. Arts on the otherhand is largely based on perspectives. A phenomenon can be viewed from different angles and given different valid explanations. There are no rules, no principles, no formulars. That explains why you always have more first class students in the STEM courses than in the Arts. There are some political science departments in some universities that have less than five first class graduates in the past 20years unlike engineering departments that turn out first class graduates almost every year. In all both science and arts students are intelligent in their own right. |
He can go ahead and run the country on auto pilot like he did before. It wont be his first. |
It is in the news already that the INEC Returning officer for Orlu zone was adopted and his is being threatened to announce Okorocha winner of the zone. So APC supporter shouldnt jubilate yet, as INEC in Owerri has already said that it does not recognise any result announced in Orlu. |
babablogger:Your ascertion is not true...the statement is clear, and applies to both the states and FCT hence there is no need for the repetition of the 25% or the the inclusion of "ALSO". If it does not apply to the FCT, another subsection would have been created to address that rather than being put together with the states. |
couragemurphy:Nice explanation, but it still does not address the OPs question. The contention is "what is the implication of not getting 25% of votes cast in the FCT, in addition to the 25% of vote garnered in 2/3 of the 36 states of the federation? |
davodyguy:Why do we try to turn the rules of the game upside down when it does not suit us even when the intent of the law is so clear and unambiguous. The Law states 25% in 2/3 of the states *AND* the FCT. Dont try to bend the laws, Nigerians are no fools. Lets keep to the rules. PS: Article 134 (2) of the Nigerian Constitution stipulates that a presidential candidate will be duly elected after attaining both the highest number of votes cast, and having received at least a quarter of the votes at each of at least two-thirds of the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). |
kaffy4tope:Are you normal? Am sure your paymasters have twisted your brain. U better put down this shii.... |
Good this was posted very early so those spreading the rumour that Smart was leading with 20000 votes will wake up to see this. |
Mr Frank...sent you a DM, please revert. |
Its a pity. They have it all worked out already! May we never witness this kind of government again in Nigeria. |
Quite informative. Been the best so far among threads on new year attitude/behavior. |
I think you are finer....in your dreams though! |
