This is immaterial and does not help the situation at hand. People will continue trying their luck by booking Cat A even with their lower class. Solving the problem is wholly dependent on booking with admission letter.

It's wickedness to just relax like that and the slot gets wasted. If you know you won't be there on the day of appointment, why blocking way for others who already have admission and waiting for dates?

Really, the embassy should upgrade by making it mandatory that before you book your appointment, you must attach your admission letter.

People are just being selfish and the Embassy has also contributed to this. Why jettision the method they were using last year to introduce a new method that is riddled with so much uncertainty and inefficiency. Last year, U couldnt book without having your AL. And this worked out fine.

As at this time last year, I was able to book for appointment and got a date within 2days. Just imagine those whose schools have admission deadline for 15th July. It means such a persons may not get date if already they have not usurped other dates without AL.

This is bad, really bad!!!

I think i may have concluded the first phase of my German study endeavour, which is determining the schools to apply to.

I had my B.Sc degree in Microbiology, but i have been working in the field of business operations and supply chain management for almost 4 years now. My initial plan was to go for an M.Sc in a business related course, but the German education system places extreme emphasis on Consecutive education, instead of Continuing education.

This means, if i must go for an M.Sc in a business related course, then i must have had a related B.Sc degree. For most of them even, you cant go pass the application stage as you must input ECTs in related courses like Economics, commerce, etc, and i had none of them in my B.Sc.

So, i made up my mind to go for another B.Sc degree, in Business, for the Summer semester.

I have made the following compilation of schools, courses and intake semester. I believe this will help someone out there, plus i will need the inputs of guys in the house:

Your Waec Certificate is under another category of documents... So I don't see how it will serve double capacity.

Use your state of origin Certificate. Paulinus won't come and check the date whether it's older than 5 years. It's even possible your VO returns it back to you cos it's no longer on the updated checklist.
