Sorry, a quick question: did you put in at least 50m for the primary market? GT and Access were insisting I needed to have 50m; otherwise, I have to settle for secondary market. I was thinking they would gather investments to make up that amount and bid on behalf of clients.

Well the truth is that most first class, second class upper, Distinction, UpperCredit graduates end up being employed by illiterates, third class and pass holders.

My offer letter didn't come with the tuition fee clearly stated, but a breakdown of the tuition into 9 semesters the program duration (which is 546cad per semester) .

Pls do I calculate the tuition for the first year or the total of 9 semesters and fill d form in the part stating funds available/tuition?

With these outrageous and never-seen before rates, i am forced to become skeptical like @Poposki pointed out earlier. I just hope govt meet up with their debt servicing.

It's not rare. Some people even have published materials right from undergraduate program and they still continued even after concluding their degree. That's exactly what these schools are looking for. Peeps with overwhelming research potentials who would require little supervision.

Not just for not having a travel history. If you previously contravened the conditions on a previous issued visa eg, overstayed a visa, It can be a single reason for refusal on grounds of travel history. Otherwise, it usually will come with other reasons.

Will it be safe for one to tender a document showing the money he intends to use to sponsor himself is invested with a bank, or must the money be in his account?
What I mean is if I invest my sponsorship money in a fixed deposit or teasury bill with a bank and it would not mature before the application for my TRV, will the document showing that I have such funds invested somewhere and it will mature before I leave for school, be admissible by the VO as proof of fund or must the said money be in my account?
I decided to ask the house because am on the verge of doing this..

lets not jump into conclusion so fast, from what i understand about NTB...individuals ordinarily cannot apply directly unless they have a minimum of 150m......thats y we go through the banks or financial houses , and what the banks do is to compile a list of applicants.....then apply to the CBN......on our behalf, minimum investments varied with the different banks. So now if this new policy is stating 50m minimum.....how does that affect us when ordinarily we dont apply individually or r u guys saying that the banks would require u to have 50m before u can put in an application at the bank level.

fidelity securities and other finance houses could as well collect peoples money and invest in d NTB primary market.......without any wahala just like they have always done . or r we saying that the finance houses would no longer offer such services unless we apply with 50m.

as individuals we dont subscribe directly to CBN.....and from what i read above ,minimum subscription to the CBN on NTB is 50m.

i would like answers and clarifications on my observations.

You have to elaborate very well. Who's your sponsor,hope what you're going for is a branch of your UG program?
As regard home ties, the fact that you're not employed does not mean anything. Personal assets will likely not work against you.
Also hope you have siblings, parents,...does your dad have landed properties that you can lay claim to? Does any of your parent have registered company?.....the most important part of home ties is your parents and siblings.
