UG - Agricultural Economics and I want to go for
Agricultural Economics for masters too. finished with
first class grade. My GRE score is below 300 too though very close to 300. I have like 4 other professional certificates, one publication and the second under review and working experience.
is it compulsory I write GRE again to get funding or I can use it like that. although I message one US graduate school yesterday for PhD direct from bsc and they said no but going for master could fetch me GA with my profile (this is from Graduate Program coordinator).
Actually i didn't one to put my profile here but I need a sincere advice, pls should I write another GRE or I apply like this since my other profile is strong because GRE is energy sucking.

Let me share a personal experience, when I was dating my wife, I didnt take time to observe that I was basically doing everything in the relationship and it was a one sided affair.
I was buying things for her because money was flowing and she was earning little from her work place. I deluded myself that she was stingy because she earned little and since I was making a lot of money outside my salary there was no issue, I was simply in love.
Then we got married and she got a better high paying job.
After sometime my company redeployed me to another unit where I was forced to depend solely on my salary, no more access to vendors and suppliers who tipped me regularly to facilitate procurement under my control.
We had our baby and the salary alone could no longer carry all our bills, the rent which I could afford to pay without touching my salary back in the day was now a burden.
I kept asking my wife for assistance and it was not forthcoming, it was then I started thinking backwards and realised that I didnt take note of her stinginess.
The pressure continued growing and frustration started setting in, I was calculating what her salary can do for us but she was not ready to assist, frustration due to mounting financial pressure started getting hold of me and in the process katakata burst.
She will even tell me that the bible says that any man who cannot feed his family is worse than an infidel.

We had fights and nothing has changed in her attitude, she spends her money however she likes including buying cars of her choice, trinkets, sending to her family etc while my own money in her eyes is for the Federal Republic. Whenever I send money to my own relations or people in need she gets angry and will remind me about outstanding school fees, gas, light etc so I have to resort to doing things for my own people without informing her.

I had to accept the situation and live grudgingly with it since I cannot divorce her but decided to hustle harder for the sake of the family including her.
At this point its no longer about love in marriage but survival, that her beauty and other 'traits' wey being dey shack me then is no longer the key element in the relationship after some years because there are several bills to settle.
Financial consideration is a very key point for any relationship to be successful and stinginess (which is tantamount to selfishness) causes crisis in marriages.
Guy I will not advise you but I am sharing my personal experience of several years in marriage to help you decide.

Trying to pick my brain is enough for me to get upset.
There were indicators how this whole thing would end starting from the "think I don't know how much you earn"
This statement alone would set my brain on fire and I won't feel safe anymore.
Aunty you were too nice to him.
There were time you had opportunity to pass a message to him
Sometimes you passed the message,apologise and turned it into a joke.
All I can say is that you were lucky he did not complete his plans...
1) he gained your trust
2) he is broke ( someone that wants to stay in a hotel for 2weeks became broke all of a sudden)
3) he is jealous
4) he is not matured
5) he invades your privacy.
The final step is to know your account balance and do everything to milk you dry.....
Some other guys would do a perfect job with this little opportunity you gave him aunty be very careful.

Hello house. Top of the morning to you all. I'd like to tell everyone on this platform to be extremely careful and very vigilant. Some unscrupulous fellows are out here to scam innocent people of their hard-earned money. They pretend to also be looking for accommodation, then introduces you to a so-called agent who is also into the "business" with them, and even takes you to a very befitting legit accommodation. They then ask you to bring cash so that they could take it to the landlord with you.
These so-called agents have no offices, and are always asking to meet in public places. Please, be careful. I nearly fell victim. I thank God for making me uneasy about the whole thing to the point that I got so inquisitive, and went to do my little detective work. Well, they collected N3,000 from me in the guise of agency fee. And I intentionally paid this just to meet the "agent" I had been speaking with on phone so that I could take his picture, and put on social media.

The offices of the vice president, deputy governor and local government chairmen are the most powerless and demeaning offices especially when there is conflict of interests with the superiors. The president can decide to sideline his Vice throughout his tenure and nothing will happen. Same with a governor sidelining his deputy. A local govt chairman can be elected on monday and be removed/suspended by the governor on tuesday if there is conflict of interests. These above offices are not enviable at all in a country like Nigeria where most superiors are very power drunk and arrogant.

There are people here who were not invited for exams yet they are hopeful, some went for exams and not interview yet they are hopeful. Some did not even apply at all yet they are hopful.

There are people even after training will still be hopeful. It's better we say the truth for them to start detaching themselves......

If your head is so far up rich people's asses that you can't even laugh a little at their poor choice of haircut, then you have a genuine problem you need to work on.

Being wealthy does not make anyone infallible. Having money does not make you immune to poor choices in life, and people should be allowed to laugh at the humanity of rich people without other broke people accusing them of being broke as if they have access to anyone's bank account
