shutp up....pls just shut up ifedubatoochukw: I repeat once again the Central Military Command are not combatant soldiers they are experts there you find computer scientist manning the drones and satellite images rebroadcasting Enemy troop location to the combatant soldiers on ground and the airforces, there you even find Military nuclear experts etc..
they gather information, plan and cordinate military assaults ...
Central Military Command is an intelligent unit in the Army that is where military operation is directed using satellite images .. Buhari in this single directive acted as a man who is no longer in touch with modern military techniques
Nigeria military Command Area Of Responsibilty covers the whole of Nigeria and outside Nigeria where our troops are stationed currently
so it is very much senseless to relocate such a unit with sensitive data right at the frontline as if modern military intelligent information is gotten by trekking around sambisa forest in the middle of the Night? what are military satellites for? and surveillance drones? |

Lol....its a new relationship...I'm still in dat heart thumping, pulse racing, fingers tingling, stage;those feelings can't be quantified ...and I really do luv her.. Of course the scales may/will soon fall out...but till then, happy jonzing Joavid: What do you have in common? I mean, something must have attracted you to her.
You are agnostic, avid reader, tech/science guy and you seem like a very quiet person.
When you prefer to watch NatGeo or discovery channel, she wants to watch E! Or fashion TV. When you want to watch a sci-fi movie, she wants a comedy.
You can't have the type of conversation you would like to have with her cos you fear she would doze off.
I guessing she must be a wonderful cook, no?
Sorry, if it seems am psychoanalysing your relationship but.... |

I think I understand..anyways I'm in a new relationship with one nw...wat program does she like watching, and its 'kim phucking kardashian' She doesn't like reading books or novels...why don't people luv reading novels Sometimes I wonder how imma explain d intricacies of a robert ludlum novel or the insights ted dekker provides in his books.. Oh yes,I'm an ICT professional, specifically wireless communications systems..I dnt even v d nerve to talk abt my field with her..she may jst sleep offf and na dat one go kimme I'm still gettin to knw her though goodgood2: Op, I no go lie, I gbadu your write-up. You're so spot on. I'm a silent guy and I like being alone. That part of me seems to scare the ladies around me. Speaking of being intellectually ahead of ladies, I put so much effort to equip myself- read books, watch movies, try complex maths, and THINK.
I once dated a very pretty lady. There was a huge gap between us and she didn't feel secure in the relationship. I seemed to know everything she did in the recent past, how she felt at a particular time, when she was lying, her likely actions after a particular incident... For her, she was my prisoner- and I behaved like a Psychologist who was using her to further his experiment, not like her lover. I understood her very well, read her the way I read medical books...Again, for her, it was more or less a psychological warfare, and I was miles ahead. She didn't like it. I pictured that she would not fit into my plans. I'm very ambitious and hardworking, while she's lazy and believes her looks and bottom can get her what she wants. I told her I was going to leave her, and I did. I liked her so much, and as a matter of fact, I still melt when I bump into her and nearly breakdown when she smiles at me; but I can't get back to her. And, that hurts me so much. While we were together, I tried to help her out, by way of encouraging her to read books, teaching her all kinds of stuff and engaging her in intellectual discourse. She didn't really welcome that. I want the world to know that I still love her, and that I'm hurt. |

Or Is there a special treatment for several nairalanders Cc seun Cc ishilove SirShymexx: That was what I was alluding to by using Igbos' ultimatums as simile, with sarcasm of how influential Igbos are. No harm there, just me messing about.
The ultimatum is just silly and Nigeria needs to learn the art of diplomacy in foreign relations. Summoning the SA high commissioner in Nigeria won't be a bad idea, and they can start from there. |

Imo...reppn since 1880 Sweetlemon: Funny I was just about starting a thread on this.
Igbos are generally stiff but the Anambrans take the cake. Those ones will not even marry outside Anambra sef (if possible their LGA) not to talk of crossing Igbo. Abomination! Only very few exposed Anambrans have been able to marry out of Anambra after fighting through heavy resistance from their nuclear and extended families.
My favourite SE states are Imo and Enugu. Very liberal people. |

Politics › Re: North Must Produce President In 2015 – ACF, Others by uzoexcel(m): 9:35am On Dec 28, 2014 |
Brilliant and on point!!!!! bushdoc9919: No, the North does not need to produce the President.
And for that matter, neither does the South.
The above call by the Arewa forum is symptomatic of what is wrong with this country.
In Nigeria, everyone believes that if your brother is in power, everything goes easy for you. Indeed decades of underdevelopment in the North are blamed now on the fact that the North does not have access to power now. No one blames the governors , the Local Govt chairmen, the State Assemblies and the National Assembly for developing a policy of sustained investment in technical education, scientific education and industrial development that would have led to a prosperous and developed North and middle Belt.(And no...going back to groundnuts and cotton won't save the North....no more guaranteed markets for such products).
Instead of asking for Power and power....the Arewa must instead prepare for a future without them holding power at the center. Yes...it means them getting a lemon....but they can get lots of lemonade from that lemon.Invest in your people....so that we can talk of a Super Power industrial North in the decades to come.
And the same goes for the South too. Let us all no longer concentrate on gaining power at the center....but on empowering our peoples. That should be the job of the Nigerian Leadership....developing all parts of Nigeria into an industrially powered syncytium....rather than fight wars over how oil money is shared....and sadly....PDP and APC have no idea on how to do that. Better they get the ideas fast. |
