samistry: Sounds like I missed a good match ooooo. Wwe won't let Charlotte go now but I could see her there in the future. Will the AEW crowd boo or cheer her as overpushed. I assume Ric would have a say in her booking I think we're going to see "WWE has come to terms with the release of Charlotte Flair. We wish her the best in her future endeavours" soon. |

samistry: Laughs in Brian cage, matt sydal, The hybrid2, andrade hasn't done anything since he got there also. This elite storyline about hugging all the titles is weighing folks down. I give them kudos though, they make good use of the roster resulting in fresh matches unlike smackdown which has a relatively small roster yet same same. As for raw why can't they utilise the 24/7 roster to give us fresh matches. all the guys you've mentioned wrestle on Dark, Dark Elevation and also appear on Dynamite if necessary. Cage is also in a feud at the moment. Everyone will get a chance to shine, it just needs proper booking. Kenny just lost a title, so it means we're passing that storyline gradually. That's what I like about AEW. They know how to book, start a story and end it when necessary, all this happening at the right pace. |

Small news dey o...
I believe yesterday AAA held their Triplemania XXIX event and Kenny Omega defended his AAA Mega championship against Andrade along side Ric Flair, his father-inlaw. At one point both Ric and Andrade double-teamed to chop Kenny.
WWE didn't grant Charlotte the permission to appear at the event, but she was backstage anyway to help Andrade prepare for his match and was in talks with AAA and AEW along with other female wrestlers names unknown except for Chelsea Green. |

pu7pl3: That would be a mistake...what NXT needs to do is go back to how they used to book shows and tell stories before but it's not possible again cos now there are like X3 of the amount of talent that was there during those times...I still feel the approach they adopted was inevitable cos they kept on recruiting wrestlers...very soon AEW would get like that too and the wrestlers shining now won't get to shine anymore and people would start complaining too
I think NXT's problem is over saturation... AEW is also going that route... RAW and SMACKDOWN have been like that already well you're right in a way, but I think NXT's major problem is that Vince doesn't believe in it and also their stars are always called up without proper replacement. As for AEW I don't think that will be the case. Unlike WWE they actually know how to book. Their 4 shows will be able to give everyone a shining chance...fingers crossed anyway. |

Its Friday night and we now know what that means, not SmackDown but AEW Rampage and yesterday was it's premier episode on TNT Drama.
What transpired?
First off it was an hour and I can't write it's history right here. It'll be too much work for me so I suggest you Google it.
It started with the Orange lightening setting as advertised weeks ago with the voices of Excalibur, Taz, Chris Jericho and Mark Henry all on commentary. Mark is also served as backstage reporter for the show.
The Line up:
'The work horse' Christian Cage vs 'The belt collector' Kenny Omega for the Impact and TNA world title in the kickoff.
The most over extra in professional wrestling at the moment Fuego Del Sol vs 'The Redeemer' and TNT champion Miro. If Feugo wins he gets a contract with AEW.
The main event: AEW women's world champion Dr Britt Baker DMD vs Red Velvet for the AEW women's world title.
Christian's music hits, the pyro is up in the air and he walks out with so much swagger, takes his time(as always) and enters the ring to the cheers of the Pittsburg fans as he gets set for the biggest match of his career.
Omega's music hits. The arrogant champion comes out with all his collection and Callis by his side to fuel his ego even more. He takes his time and finally he is in the ring with Christian with the aim of making the legend fall victim as others have. The tension is in the air and I must mention that AEW and Impact did a pretty decent job in building this. It felt huge and PPV worthy. You guys would pardon me I'm not good at writing on matches. They have a stare down. The crowd is electric. And match begins. It was a great to be honest and the commentary did a great job. The legend Christian was able to counter Kenny's 'smart' offences with his wisdom and experience. You could tell he studied Kenny well before the match. At some point he was able to get a mental advantage over Omega with the FU sign to Kenny as the payoff to a mind blown reception from the audience in attendance. After Kenny couldn't get the job done over and over again, Don Callis, his corperate stooge thought it was wise to confront the Ref about it and get him distracted to allow Kenny signal the Young bucks to bring in a chair as a weapon. It would have all ended for Christian if Kenny had successfully hit the one-winged angel unto the unfolded chair but again the wisdom and experience paid off as Christian Cage was able to counter into a Killswitch unto the chair to win this match. Christian shocked the world and the fans loved it. I screamed a bit when this happened. Impact wrestling's EVP Scott Damore and 'The Jurassic Express' Jungle Boy and Luchassurus came out to celebrate with Christian. Christian does a backstage interview with Mark Henry as he celebrates with his friends, bottles of wine in hand, Orange Cassidy in the background and with the TNA and Impact titles on his shoulders.
The Take Away
I can't give scores. I'm not an expert like Pu7pl3, but I'll say the match was great. It had everything a wrestling match needed for beginning to end. Emotions, moves and story telling. It's a history making match. Kenny shined with his moves, signature moves and energy. He played a great heel too. Christian shocked the world. He proved he could still go and he is the true work horse of pro wrestling today. His experience played out well here.
NEXT
A vignette is shown for Feugo and Miro's match.
Fuego comes out to a great reaction from the fans in attendance, as usual. Miro comes out intimidating and not smiling, as usual also.
Fuego starts the match by going head on to Miro and successfully hits 3 tornado DDTs with one sending Miro to the floor, for an unsuccessful pin anyway. Miro ends the match with a kick, a slam and his signature submission move to Fuego as he taps. The dream is over for Fuego as Miro tears up the contract...or is it? Sammy Guevara comes out with his music and Tony Khan hands him something that looks like a contract paper. He walks towards the ring with the contract in his hand and a mic in the other pointed towards his mouth. Fuego gets to hear the truth about how he's is loved by the AEW fans despite his 1 win in like 50 matches. It was only appropriate for Sammy(his best friend) to have been the one to hand him the contract and say "Fuego is ALL ELITE". They embrace. It's an emotional moment for the 2 and the fans are into it too. Fuego has finally signed with AEW. I'm happy.
The Take Away
The match was short but instrumental in story telling. Fuego has come a long way and everyone is happy he is finally signed with them. Miro played a great heel as usual and pretty intimidating. Who can stop him?
AEW Dynamite matches are announced for Next Week.
A promo for next week's AEW Rampage 'The First Dance' is shown with the Darby Allin's 'CM Punk best in the world' tease broadcasted with the day and city announced also.
The Final Match. The Main Event.
A short video interview hosted by Mark Henry between AEW Women's champion Britt Baker and challenger Red Velvet is shown.
Now to the match.
Both women come out for the match. Red looks good on Velvet but she's in enemy territory. Baker come out accompanied by Reba to the pyro. The orange towels up and in the air as she receives a hero's welcome in her hometown. The match itself was another good one for the night. The champion applied the lockjaw twice to 2 failed attempts, in-between them was a similar attempt by the Challenger who couldn't successfully put her hands into the champion's mouth to lock the move, but 3 times they say is a charm, the champ was successful in her 3rd trial as the challenger tapped to have Baker secure her title. The highlight of the match came when Britt was about to curb stomp Velvet's head unto her title belt but was saved by Kris Statlander, the latter who was blind sided by a returning female wrestler(can't remember her name) who is now in partnership with Baker to end the premier episode of AEW Rampage, with the heels standing tall.
The Take Away
The match was good. Velvet is great I can tell you, it's just unfortunate she wasn't given a friendly welcome. She even got booed at some instance during the match. Baker is the best female heel in the business today. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Faith Oyedepo: You're Under Demonic Influence If You Question Your Husband... by ValeeLove(m): 9:32pm On Aug 13, 2021 |
jesusjnr2020: Some women who God has used to greater effect as Smith Wigglesworth's wife actually questioned their husband when he had strayed from the faith and began to demand things of her that were not of God.
She told him that he was her husband but that Jesus was her Lord!
That was the saving grace of the husband as he was hence restored back to the faith, and would never play with his wife afterwards. That's probably why we hardly have women of such such spiritual calibre these days, because they have made their husbands to take the place of God as the Lord and Master of their lives, hence God cannot use them for much because He cannot share His position with any man.
Moreover, the wife of Abraham questioned her husband concerning Hagar and her son Ishmael, that it was said to have grieved Abraham much, but God told him to hearken to his wife's voice.
Genesis 21:12 (KJV)
And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.
So you can actually see that even though it's what men love to hear, this saying of a woman not questioning her husband and being demonic is not of God but of men.
God bless she didn't say question his position if he was still in the faith, she said question his position as the man of the house and head of the family. Wigglesworth's wife must have corrected him with respect and still acknowledged his position. Your claim though still needs to be reresearched on. |

Y new show RAMPAGE is debuting tomorrow on TBS. It's going to be one hour and imediately after SmackDown I believe(still wondering why they didn't go head on).
Kenny Omega is defending his Impact World Championship against Christian Cage.
'The Redeemer' Miro FKA Rusev is defending his TNT championship against the most over extra at the moment Fuego Del Sol. If Fuego wins he gets a contract with AEW.
Dr Britt Baker DMD defends her AEW women's championship against Red Velvet.
Next week's Rampage is a special episode and is tagged "First Dance" with many rumours that CM Punk might debut in his hometown.
I'm happy for this. Never thought AEW could be my main wrestling show.

Don't get me wrong, AEW is my main show ATM(though Reigns keeps drawing me back to SmackDown), but let's not get ahead of ourselves here. WWE has status and can only go down if they keep making bad decisions for themselves and not necessarily because of AEW. AEW still has some work to do. I'm yet to see their wrestling as 100% legitimate yet and you have to agree too. Meanwhile who listens to Jim Cornette's wrestling reviews and what do you think about him Pu7pl3? Debroslink: Another iconic superstar leaving WWE. If Wyatt, Bryan and CM Punk end up at AEW, I keep saying it, I'm done with WWE.

Finally AEW updates. Thanks boss. samistry: AEW presents :Fight for the Fallen. We begin this week with a All or Nothing 10 man elimination tag match. The Elite( AEW world Champion Kenny Omega, AEW Tag Team champions The young bucks(brothers Matt and Nick Jackson), Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson). Vs Hangman Page and The Dark Order( Evil Uno, Stu Greyson, John Silver and Alex Reynolds). This match presents a big opportunity for the Dark Order, should they successfully eliminate all of the elite, then Hangman Page earns a worldheavyweight title match while Evil Uno and Greyson get a tag team title match. The Elite are geared in space jam inspired jerseys complete with basketballs and rimposts. The match starts with the usual team brawl to the outside before it settles in the ring. Silver and Reynolds perform a quick fast tag combination attack, resulting in a pin on Gallows which is broken by Karl Anderson. This leads to a quick roll up on Reynolds by Karl Anderson with hands on tights for cheat support. Reynolds is eliminated. Elite-5, Darkorder-4. K.Anderson finds himself surrounded and being a punching bag for each member of the Dark order, resulting in the fatality tag finisher from Uno and Greyson. K. Anderson eliminated. Elite-4, Dark Order-4. Greyson hits a Springboard Twisting body corkscrew to all members of the Elite outside. Gallows and Greyson both continue to fight in the crowd, Greyson also hits a diving splash from the crowd towards Gallows and both men are down. This leads to a double count out and elimination for both men as they are unable to get back in the ring on time. Elite-3, Dark Order-3. Evil Uno and Omega square off in the ring, as a diving senton attack from Uno proves costly with knees up by omega followed by vtrigger and one winged angel. (nobody kicks out from that). Evil uno eliminated. Elite-3, Dark Order-2. We are left with Kenny omega and the bucks against Hangman and Silver. Silver is cornered and isolated by bucks. The bucks being heel goofballs decide to have a little space jam action in the ring as Nick does a basketball dribble in the ring scores a 3 pointer. (Never seen anything like this). The bucks hit a tag team apron powerbomb on Hangman outside. Silver is attacked three on one by the bucks and Omega. The bucks perform a meltzer driver on Silver on the mat floor outside of the ring while simultaneously performing a slam dunk with the basket ball on the hoop. (Wtf am I watching!) BTE trigger elimates Silver. Elite-3, Dark Order -1. Hangman is left alone to face his former friends. This leads to Hangman and Omega exchanging forearms. Hangman kicks out of a v trigger knee attack, double superkick by Bucks, suplex by Omega, triple superkick by Omega and the Bucks. Nick hits a 450 splash on Hangman. Another kickout. (if this was another wrestling show, it would be the finish but we don't do that here in AEW). Hangman eventually gains momentum and hits a slingshot lariat which eliminates Matt. Elite- 2, Dark Order - 1 Omega clobbers Hangman with the belt. Kick out again. Hangman hits the Deadeye reverse piledriver on Omega and proceeds to setup the slingshot lariat before being distracted by Nick. This proves advantageous for Omega as he clobbers Hangman again the title. Yet another kickout! Omega hits two vicious vtriggers to cranium of Hangman and finally hits the one winged angel. The Elite win. The ELITE - 2, Darkorder-0. (Fast paced, hard hitting with lots of tag moves. Puts over hangman's heart and resiliency. I have a feeling this two will battle for the AEW title again. However, the near falls and kickouts were over done).
FTW Champion Celebration. The Betrayal and ousting of Brian Cage by the cowardly charismatic Ricky Starks. Tazz has gone out of his way to setup a matching band parade for the newly crowned FTW champion, Ricky starks is accompanied to the ring by Tazz's son, Hook. Ricky Starks is one of the promising young stars of AEW. In a promotion more focused on mat skills than promo skills on the mic. This guy clearly stands out from the pack. Ricky Stated he turned on Brian Cage because, the later wasn't there for him when he broke his neck. The parade however is interrupted by Brian Cage who takes out the matching band members. The rest of Team Tazz flee.
Announcement: The second episode of AEW new show Rampage will be held on 20th August in Second City Saint's home of Chicago. We cut to Darby Allen and sting. Darby challenges whoever thinks he is the best in the world. Njpw us title match. Hikuleo vs Lance Archer. This match was purposely setup for Archer showcase his destructive prowess against a much more larger foe. We see an undertaker's inspired old school walk across the top rope with a moon sault variation. Followed by a superplex and finisher. Archer wins. We get promo from njpw icon Hiroshi Tanahashi who steps up for a title shot for the njpw us title. The match will take place in japan. Darker than Black. Cody is interviewed backstage for his match next week against Malaika Black. Fka Aleister Black. When suddenly Black attacks Cody . They brawl onstage but Black gains advantage and takes out Cody with a jumping knee strike. This isn't the Black we knew from wwe rather a much twisted version.
Miro Fka Rusev the TNT champion. Cuts a really good promo about how nobody can take away his divine right now that he's motivated by a vengeful God and a double jointed wife. promises a glorious reckoning for his opponent next week.
The Inbetween. FTR Fka The Revival def Pride n powerful. Thunder Rosa def Julia Hart. AEW Women's champion, Brit Baker while injured stated she will be bringing a backup for her matches. Jon Moxley accuses Tanahashi of avoiding a match with him while he was the njpw us champion. Andrade interrupted Pac's interview. Jurassic Express and Christian def HFO. The announcers stated during the match that the undefeated Christian is next in line to challenge for the AEW title.
Main Event: The labours of jericho chapter 2. This match is a fallout from the war between two stables. The inner circle led by Jericho and The Pinnacle led by Mjf. The second of the five part match saga set up by Mjf against jericho. In which jericho must win a set of five weekly matches with varying stipulations in order to face Mjf. This week Jericho squares off against the death match king Nick Gage with Mjf on commentary. Match starts with Gage using a pizza cutter to slice up the bicep of jericho. Jericho is pushed face first into ring post and busted open. Gage grabs light tubes from the ring. Jericho grabs bat in hand and hits gage with it. Gage uses his trusty Pizza cutter to slice across the forehead of Jericho again and again in a gruesome and sadistic manner. (You won't find this on wwe ND NXT folks,We weep and bleed only on Wednesday nights). Gage sets up a pane of glass between two chairs and sets jericho underneath before going up the top rope. Jerichi counters with a hurricana and flips Gage through the glass. (The barbarity!) Jerichi goes for code breaker but gage counters it into powerbomb on the broken glass shards. Light tubes get broken on the back and the head of Jericho along with pile driver on the broken glassshards. (bwagaadd!) Kickout by jerericho. A Shank and broken light tubes are carved into the forehead of Jericho. (The man is bleeding buckets). Jericho sprays black mist in Nick Gage eyes and cracks a bundle of light tubes on the head of Gage before finishing him off with the judas effect elbow. Jericho wins (This ain't pg). Mjf proceeds with a post match announcement for the stipulation of third Labour: Next week, a 23year old wcw cruiserweight rivalry is revisted as jerixho goes against Juventud Guerrara. in which the only way Jericho can win is with a top rope maneuver. Final grade: 3 out of 5 stars. The opening and closing matches more than delivered. However for what was supposed to be a special episode, it felt more like a setup for next week and future episodes. |

Roman better be careful when he goes one in one with the dr of Thuganomics. Heyman isn't gonna save him. pu7pl3: WWE SMACKDOWN REVIEWS RECAPS AND REACTIONS
Roman Reigns.... that isn’t PG, sir! Reigns was able to so eloquently put two and two together for me, and explain why this return of John Cena hasn’t felt as great as it would usually. John Cena is now a nostalgia act. Using the same promo, outfit, ring entrance, and all. And what’s worse - now he’s also being used to pop ratings. His performance on Raw didn’t really hit with me. The Tribal Chief’s performance on SmackDown, now THAT hits. Cena started the show with the same old song and dance, doing the same rah rah speech to fire up the crowd, and to the crowd’s credit they were better than last Monday. So when Reigns came out to end the show, I had no clue what to expect. My expectations were exceeded, and then some. He said what I mentioned above, and ALSO compared Cena to doing missionary position every night. Yeah. He declined Cena’s challenge for a SummerSlam ;Dmatch and then an unexpected surprise - Finn Balor interrupted to make a challenge of his own. Reigns accepted it and the show went off the air. So... what does this mean exactly? Now I highly doubt that they’re just going with Balor and Reigns at the pay-per-view, so maybe Balor gets his shot either next week or the week after? Also for those of you who may have forgotten, WWE did do the Balor rematch for the Universal championship the last time Reigns was champion in 2018. They done did that already. So this here is a new opportunity, and one that I certainly did not expect any time soon. I’m also eager to see how we eventually get that Cena match anyway. Like I said, it’s doubtful they’re changing gears on SummerSlam so we have some more Cena/Reigns promos to look forward to.
The match I’ve wanted for a long time. Edge got himself another incredible pop from Cleveland. He said that the reason why he isn’t the Universal Champion right now is because of Seth Rollins. Actually Edge, I think it’s really because the whole company decided to neglect your match for 5 or 6 minutes after the ref bump. Edge realized that this feud goes all the way back to 2014 and he didn’t get the job done then, so now Edge is in his way. Rollins has no clue what mental Pandora’s Box he has opened. Rollins interrupted in probably one of his best suits laughing and calling Edge a grandpa. He said he’s tired of people like John Cena and Edge cutting in line and taking away opportunities from him. Because Edge has been such a “scumbag” to him, he wants to be the one to crush Edge’s dreams. He acknowledged not pulling the trigger on hurting Edge’s neck 7 years ago but he won’t hesitate this time. So Edge went back on his promise of not attacking Rollins, like a true scumbag, and attacked him. Rollins was able to get out of the ring before getting speared. I’m really excited for this feud. I always remembered their awesome encounter 7 years ago and it was the first thing I thought about when Edge returned at the 2020 Royal Rumble. There aren’t that many naturally born feuds WWE can call back to, so having them do this one is a win for me. Seth was on top of his game here and I was fully invested in wanting him to get his body snapped in half. I’m excited for this match.
Eh? I was a little confused by this segment. This started out as Big E’s winning speech after getting the Money in the Bank briefcase. Then Apollo Crews came out and laughed at E for winning a contract because it wasn’t like winning an actual championship. The Dirty Dawgs came out to keep themselves relevant. Rick Boogs and Shinsuke Nakamura came out to be Rick Boogs and Shinsuke Nakamura. Cesaro then came out and said he wanted the Intercontinental title. The heels brawled with the faces and the faces got the upper hand. And then the segment was over. Uh... alright then. Cool? I guess Cesaro is going to be next challenger for Apollo? Or is Nakamura? Or Ziggler and Roode? Or E? I was looking forward to E’s promo so I was disappointed with this.
The Rest Bianca Belair defeated Carmella Was there ever any doubt that Belair was going to lose at Rolling Loud? Not the crowd for A title change. Belair fought out of a Code of Silence and did the vertical suplex. She really is great. K.O.D. got her a relatively quick win. As much as Pat McAfee and Michael Cole tried to get us to believe that the Rolling Loud crowd cared about this, it was kind of easy to spot the lie. The crowds were not really reacting to anything, but I did hear a chant going during this match., Maybe someone can tell us in the comments what they said?
Finn Balor defeated Sami Zayn Don’t remember if I mentioned last week how wonderful it is to see Balor on the main roster again. It truly is. I hope that the live crowds keep that energy up for him every week because I would absolutely love to see him win titles soon. (And maybe VERY soon?) He sold a really good DDT from Zayn and countered the Helluva Kick with a slingblade. Balor blocked an exploder suplex and a Coup de Grace for the win. Zayn sold like hell for him and the crowd loved it.
Toni Storm defeated Zelina Vega Storm’s debut match was good. Vega hit her in the face with a knee, and Storm responded with a headbutt. Storm got a two count on a Northern Lights suplex and Vega kept on the attack. Her finisher Storm One got her the win. The thigh goddess is sexy as ever, and I enjoyed this performance.
Angelo Dawkins defeated Chad Gable This match started off the WWE presentation at Rolling Loud. Certainly a unique look! Gable dangled from Dawkins previously injured arm and continued to work on it throughout the match. I noticed how little of a wrestling crowd this was as the referee would start a count and there would be silence. No ONE, TWO... from them. Quick match and good win for Dawkins to avenge the attack on Montez Ford.
Jimmy Uso defeated Dominik Mysterio Jimmy looks quite menacing with the half dyed red hair. I’m digging the chemistry between these two families. Dominik started to do Eddie Guerrero’s Three Amigos and Jimmy countered with an enzuigiri. Jey cheated for his brother again so they could win. Boo.
Baron Corbin’s life sucks Corbin’s identity was stolen from him and now he has to take public transportation. Corbin saw Kevin Owens backstage and apologized for his bad habit of being a jerk. Owens knows exactly how that feels. Shotzi and Nox were fixing the tank and after Owens gave him money, Corbin got attacked with a missile! I liked Owens saving Corbin from the Dirty Dawgz and maybe we’ll see Baron’s first ever face turn in WWE from this? Like I said last week, I’m down. Let’s see what Corbin’s like as a face.
The Extra McAfee Minute So this is something that exists now and you just need to get your eyes and ears on it. Pat McAfee is a national treasure and should never leave this company. Please do more of these, WWE.
Rolling Loud was a very interesting place to do wrestling, but it definitely didn’t feel as great as it could have been.

Other observers rated it higher though, some as good as 9.5/10. Happy for Cena's return. Roman's getting all he wants unlike Lashley getting Goldberg as a replacement for Brock and Roman will probably get Rock at Mania. Good to have the crowd back. The future looks good for WWE. Can't wait for Edge vs Seth pu7pl3: WWE MITB REVIEWS RECAPS AND REACTIONS
Peacemaker, I'm sorry Cena is back and you can't see him What a big fight feel the main event of the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, which took place last night (Sun, July 18, 2021) In Texas Roman Reigns got the better of Edge in their first lock up. But the second time, Edge slapped Reigns in the face. The crowd cheered for Edge there. Reigns had a dominating shoulder tackle and the crowd showered him with boos. Edge worked on Reigns’ left arm and and threw him into the ring post and Paul Heyman shouted at him to teach Edge about fear. What a great moment. Reigns baited Edge into a Samoan Drop outside the ring and he then broke the count to attack Edge again. Reigns kept it to the outside and threw him around the ring area. He got mad that Edge would disrespect him and kick out, so he gave Edge a flurry of stiff elbows to the head and threw him into the ring post. Reigns kept wearing Edge down and Edge was trying to power out, but Edge tried powering out. Reigns trash talking has survived out of the ThunderDome era thankfully and he screamed at the crowd “Don’t clap!” But they did and he was able to power out, and into an elbow to knock him down again. Edge countered a Superman punch into a backslide for a near fall. He got a great clothesline in and another near fall. He got Reigns up on the top turnbuckle and slammed his head on the top of the ring post. Edge locked in a cross face minus the piece of the chair of course and man did they tease a tap out there. Edge’s face went to that really crazy place that looks legitimately frightening and he set up a spear, but Reigns countered into a Guillotine. He started fading but charged himself and Reigns out of the ring. Reigns speared himself into the barricade, and then Edge speared him into another barricade to break the referee’s count. The referee then got knocked down on a Superman punch to Edge, and he used it to his advantage. The piece of chair came into play again and the Usos and Mysterios got involved. And then Seth Rollins attacked Edge. and all this time, the whole company just decided that officiating the match was not necessary. Edge speared Reigns and a new referee finally graced us with his presence for Reigns to kick out at 2. Rollins came out again and cost Edge the match. And then the part that really mattered happened. Reigns told the crowd to acknowledge him, and someone came out to do just that! John Cena is back! And Reigns can’t see him, which means that we’ll be seeing Cena vs. Reigns for this year’s SumerSlam! I needed Cena’s return and the crowd’s epic reaction to bring me back into this, because I was not happy with how the ending of this match went down. Nearly 5 minutes of no referee, and how stupid the officials who ran down to help Charles Robinson looked just turning their backs to the whole thing. This is a huge main event! But Cena, and really that incredible reaction for him, brought it back. This is going to be an epic summer blockbuster.
The most deserving winner Well then. Kevin Owens rolled into the ring and Seth Rollins and John Morrison teamed up to take him out. They both then planted him spine first on the ladder in the ring. Rollins grabbed a ladder and cleared Drew McIntyre and Morrison from the ring. And then Riddle did an RKO! Really outta nowhere style. Then McIntyre did a Claymore outta nowhere to Shinsuke Nakamura and Riddle. McIntyre dove over the top rope and took out the competitors. Jinder Mahal and his lackeys then decided to make sure McIntyre didn’t win. Mahal attacked him with a chair and they dragged him out of the arena. Ricochet is an absolutely insane man. He is NOT human. He leapt off the ladder and hopped on the top rope into the damn sky to take out the competitors on the floor. Nakamura took out Rollins and climbed up the ladder and then Morrison squirted him with the drip stick. Owens took out Ricochet and then ROLLINS POWER BOMBED HIM THROUGH A LADDER OUTSIDE OWWWW! Even Riddle couldn’t believe it. And then the man did it. He did it. A GINORMOUS ENDING to Rollins from Big E and he climbed up that ladder and got the briefcase. I jumped off my couch and started tearing up. I am so incredibly happy that Big E won. He deserves it so much after the hard work he has put in. It’s his time. This whole match was very fun and had so many crazy spots in it. Ricochet, Owens, and Morrison were insane. They deserve a lot of credit, too. This was one hell of a match, with the right Ending. A Big and deserving one. Congratulations, Big E. I called it
A superhero was born The match started with Alexa Bliss just standing on a turnbuckle as everyone started grabbing ladders. Liv Morgan at one point ran up the ladder as Tamina and Zelina Vega were fighting over it. Would have been an incredibly quick and awesome win. Morgan and Natalya worked together to assist Naomi and also take out Nikki ASH. Vega and Bliss climbed up together and Bliss put the mind control to have Vega slowly walk down, but Natalya took her out and then suddenly Vega was okay. Naomi took out the Women’s tag champions and planted Nikki on a ladder. That didn’t last long though, because Natalya had to get up the ladder with Vega on her back, and Morgan came in and knocked them both off. Nikki then got the ability to fly for the moment and took out all the women in the ring. Her and Bliss brawled until Bliss hit her with a really nasty version of a Sister Abigail. Everyone decided to bury Bliss in ladders and then two more ladders were brought into the ring. All the women were fighting on top and Nikki came from out of nowhere and grabbed the briefcase. Okay, so totally not what I was expecting here. Like I was completely floored here. I had Liv, Zelina, even Naomi winning over Nikki. Don’t get me wrong, I’m very happy for Nikki. The “almost a superhero” thing still isn’t hitting with me, though. I was really thinking that Liv was going to win based off of the story they’ve been telling.
The Rest Bobby Lashley defeated Kofi Kingston Kofi Kingston tried to do 7 second magic winning on Bobby Lashley but it didn’t work and only angered Lashley even more. Lashley launched Kingston to the floor and sent him into the ring post twice. The more the crowd cheered Kofi, the more Lashley was pissed off. He put him in the Hurt Lock and then slammed him to the mat. Lashley rag dolled Kingston around and hit him with two Dominators. He locked Kofi in the Hurt Lock and Kofi was just able to tap as he faded out. Wow this was a real dominating performance from Bobby. It was a much more prolonged squash versus the 7 second one Brock Lesnar gave Kofi. The placement of the match made sure there were no cash in attempts, since they didn’t have the men’s ladder match yet.
Charlotte Flair defeated Rhea Ripley Charlotte Flair flipped off the crowd! A nice back body drop to the apron, and Flair did a shotgun dropkick to Ripley into the barricade. Flair had an exploder attempt, Ripley landed on her feet and got chopped for her troubles. The crowd started off sort of hot for both women, more so for Flair which I don’t think is a surprise. WWE just shit the bed with Ripley’s booking. An awesome spot where the referee saw Flair use the ropes to pin Flair and he just was like “Hey don’t do that ma’am” and I laughed. Charlotte did a great moonsault to the outside, a staple of hers. Flair worked over Ripley’s legs and did the Figure 8 for the win. A good match but I feel bad for Rhea. WWE really did wrong by her since bringing her to the main roster, so I’m not sure where she goes from here. Props to them for getting the crowd back after they chanted “We want Becky” at the start.
AJ Styles and Omos defeated the Viking Raiders Starting this match with what you could consider the “lowlights” instead of highlights of Viking Raiders and Street Profits nonsense from last year was certainly a choice. Styles was very over with this crowd! A really cool move happened where Omos picked up Styles and carried him out of the ring into a hurricanrana on Erik. A clothesline to Styles got Erik a two count. He tagged in Omos and he picked up Ivar and planted him. I thought it would be over there but Ivar kicked out. The Raiders knocked Omos out of the ring and they prevented a Phenomenal Forearm from Styles. Omos lifted Erik into the sky and planted him for the win. This was a ridiculously fun match that had a few moments where you thought the Raiders would win, but they looked great against Styles and Omos.
The USO's won the SMACKDOWN tag team titles from the Mysterios on the pre-show in a hard hitting match that had the fans screaming "this is awesome" Thank God we have crowds back.
