Ricky Rozay:

They are soooooooooo efficient and veryyy cheap. They are the cheapest for Pick up services among all couriers. I can testify to that.

I received my package within 3 working days and they gave a Tracking Number which I was able to track my package till it got to Lagos Nigeria..

And I paid Just #12,260... Compared to FedEx and DHL that charge way Higher than this...
Wow! i think I'm gonna have to use them then

Ricky Rozay:

I used them to receive my i-20 package.

This is their address - No 1A, Olabode street, Off M/M Int'l Airport Road, Ajao Estate. Lagos.

Their Customer care line - 07033074129, or. 08163781153...

I hope this helps....
Pls how efficient are they? did they deliver on time?

bigfrancis21:

If that's the case then simply don't attend the interview tomorrow. The US embassy law permits an applicant who misses his/her interview to reschedule to another date free of charge without penalty.
I pray it is so ooooo
Travel / Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part4 by valentijay: 9:48pm On Jun 26, 2013
bigfrancis21:

No, if you cancel your interview date, you wouldn't have to pay another visa fee to reschedule. So far as you've not been interviewed at the embassy, your visa fee payment is still valid and its valid for 1 year. Meaning you can use it anytime between now and next year, june.

It becomes used once you attend the interview irrespective of whether you were denied or not.
Its not even responding. The response I get when I tried cancelling the interview just now is "you cannot cancel your appointment at this time." Maybe because the time is short cos the interview is meant to be tomorrow

I-20 refused to come. Don't know the liar here.....maybe my university or DHL. About cancelling my appointment. Soo soooo painful. Can't imagine paying another cash to book a new far date

Ricky Rozay:

@Valentijay, Seriously bro, if your parents or sponsor are NOT financially bouyant, it will be very difficult for you to cope with this school...

For crying out loud, they made a mistake on your i-20 and the mistake came from them and they are still giving you stupid conditions.... Veryy annoying.

This people will throw you out of their school Someday if you miss payment of tuition fee for a given period... I dislike schools like this. They are too money conscious..

This school WON'T joke with tuition fee ooo. They won't give you a breathing space.

There are Lots of schools in US that ACCEPT installmental payment of tuiton fee. You will just have to sign up for it.

I will advice you, If you are NOT financially buoyant, Just use them to get your visa and start looking for a better school without crazy conditions, and transfer to the New school..

That's just the fact I will tell u for now

Cheers bro.
Thanks boss. I've already started looking for other schools. The sad thing is. ...I will have to attend d school on my visa for at least a semester before I can transfer to another school or Is that not the transfer procedure?
Travel / Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part4 by valentijay: 2:32pm On Jun 23, 2013
riverboy: @valentijay... once u get ur i-20, go for ur interview after u get ur visa do as ricky rozay said, ie u transfer to another good school. i had a mistake on my 1st i-20, i mailed my school n they later sent me a new one via fedex n i didnt pay a kobo, even my normal school application fee was waived for me.. wish u success
That is exactly what I'm going to do. The only problem is. ...can I transfer to another school without first attending the school on my visa?

Hey peeps. My I-20 arrived today only for me to detect that there is an error in the sponsorship. Personal funds was filled for me instead of funds from father. My interview is next week. It is too late to request for a new I-20. What do you suggest that i do? Someone said I should tell the school to send a mail that I can print and take to the embassy stating that it was an error from them. Others said I should reschedule. Pls help out a brother here

Go check ur area head office of NIPOST to ask if they have it with them.
Is marina d area head office for sabo yaba axis or the area office is at Ikeja?
Travel / Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part4 by valentijay: 11:12pm On Jun 18, 2013
bigfrancis21:

To get it faster, you'll have to go to the post office yourself to pick it up. If you wait for it to get delivered to your house, add like extra 3 weeks. grin
Cos these letters arrive the post office quite early, and 'em lousy nipost officials won't dispatch them until 2 weeks after. grin.
Two weeks is an understatement...4 weeks! grin

Thanks for your response. Pls which of the post offices in lagos should i go to? The adres on it was sabo yaba adress. Should I check at ikeja or shomolu or marina post office.?

Is it true that you have actually never applied into the diversity visa lottery before
Smalltownboy: Hey House, Been following this thread since last year and the suggestions and contributions have been really helpful.

I had my interview today and thought I share the experience with the house.

V.O: Have you ever been out of Nigeria

Me: No, but I have a UK visa

V.O: The question was have you ever been out of Nigeria

Me: No (I'm already sensing the guy has an attitude)

V.O: What you going to study?

Me: I'm going to do a graduate programme in ****

V.O: Why did you choose this School?

I begin to blab on how I'm a professional and in my area of practice I have come across several people who studied there and all

V.O: So you chose the school because you have friends there?

Me: No

V.O: So the school was recommended to you by professional colleagues.

Me: Yes

V.O: Did you apply to other schools

Me: Yes, I applied to several other schools and I begin to name them( The truth is I applied to only this school)

V.O: So what happened?

Me: I got accepted in this school

V.O: Can I see your transcripts

Me: I don't have my transcripts because they are sent directly to the school.

V.O: I have been in this job for a while and interview students and they have transcripts. They usually request for a personal copy

Me: Well, I didn't apply for a personal copy.

V.O: Did you write any standardise test?

Me: No, because it wasn't a requirement for the programme I want to attend.

V.O: What exactly do you do in Nigeria?

Me: Well, I'm a legal practitioner and I provide legal advisory services to clients on a wide range of issues. I even have a letter of introduction from my office and my a copy of my profile on the firm's website

(Note, he doesn't take this documents from me or even looks at them)

V.O: That appears really vague. What exactly do you do there?

Me: (At this point, I'm feeling I won't get the visa because I have really messed up, but I brace up and give it one last shot) I'm currently advising a Foreign IOC on the divestment of its interest in Nigeria. I have also advised a number of indigenous oil companies on acquisition of marginal oil fields as well as OMLs in Nigeria. An OML is an Oil Mining Lease.

V.O: Ok, so who will be sponsoring your studies?

Me: My Dad has been gracious enough to say he will sponsor me.

V.O: What does he do?

Me: He is into private business now since he retired from Government.

V.O: What did he use to do?

Me: (I tell him)

V:O: (Now seems interested), what state was he in?

Me: (I tell him)

V.O: (Completely out of the blues) You applied for a Diversity Visa earlier this year?

Me: Excuse me?

V.O: I'm not asking you, I'm telling you. I can see your picture here

Me: (Now losing my cool and raising my voice) I DID not apply for a Diversity visa and I have never done that. I have never even applied for a US Visitor's visa. I have a good job in Nigeria that pays my bills...

V.O sadInterrupts me) That will be all. You can pick up your passport with your visa on Tuesday.

Please note that the V:O didn't check my account statement or letter of introduction from the office and the several other documents I had with me.

I left the Embassy with mixed emotions and I still get upset whenever I think of the Interview. All in All, I give God the glory.

You'll need to get to the first and report to your first school before you can start your transfer proce
I think its possible you get to the US early enough before your first school resumes so as to officially report to them and initiate the transfer process immediately, and complete it before both schools resume for the semester. That way you won't get to lose any semester in your second school.

Thanks boss. I think I'll like the option of getting there early and initiating the transfer process. I just pray its possible that way
