Nduka Irabor and Tunde Thompson and other journalists cried when Buhari jailed them. Tai Solarin, the activist cried when Buhari sent him to jail for publicly opposing him. Fela Ransome Kuti, the musician, cried when he was jailed by Buhari. Parents and friends of Barth Owoh,Ojuolape and others cried when they were sent to early grave. Sam Mbakwe cried at Buharis' marginalization of his people when PTF was unable to construct a single road in The South West, South South,South East. Whereas the same PTF under Buhari constructed more than 98 roads in the Northern part of Nigeria. Ambrose Alli cried when Buhari locked him up for nothing. Michael Ajasin cried and even became blind thanks to Buhari. Alex Ekwueme cried in Kirikiri maximum prison while Shehu Shagari was resting in his house. Civil Servants cried when he retrenched 53,000 workers. Nigerians cried while queuing for their portions of scarce commodities like rice, sugar, salt, milk and toiletries. Students cried when he re-introduced payment of school fees. Our Economy cried when he increased external debts by $3bn(as at 1983) in 1year. Lagosians are still crying from road traffic because He cancelled the Metro line Railway Project. Nigerians have cried for more than 17 years of military rule resulting from Buhari's criminal regime. What goes around, comes around. Tears never begin flow from Buhari's eyes yet. All Nigerians need is credibility not tears.
Don't waste your vote on a crying general.

Vote Goodluck for President! Vote Goodluck for President!! Vote Goodluck for President!!!

Just sharing this story from a friend!

One day a Corrupt Senator was tragically hit by a car n died. His soul arrives in heaven n is met by St. Peter @d entrance."Welcome " says St. Peter. "B4 u settle in, u have 2 spend one day in hell n one in heaven. Then u choose where 2spend eternity. St. Peter escorts him 2d elevator n he goes down 2hell. D doors open n he finds himself in the middle of a green golf course,a clubhouse in front of it are all his friends, politicians who had worked with him. Everyone is very happy. They run 2greet him, shake hands, n reminisce abt d good times they had while getting rich @d expense of d people. They played a friendly game of golf n then dine on lobster, caviar n d finest champagne. Also present is d devil, who really is a very friendly guy who is having a good time dancing n telling jokes.  They r all having such a good time that b4 d Senator realizes it, it is time to go.  Everyone gives him a hearty farewell n waves while d elevator rises, d elevator goes up, up, n d door reopens in heaven where St. Peter is waiting 4him, "Now it's time to visit heaven,   "So, 24 hours passed with d Senator joining a group of contented souls moving frm cloud2cloud, playing d harp n singin.  They ad a good time. St. Peter returns.  "Well, u've spent a day in hell n anoda in heaven. Now choose your eternity.  "grin Senator reflects 4a minute, then he answers:  "Well, I would neva av said it b4, I mean heaven has been delightful, but I think I would b better off in hell.  "So St. Peter escorts him 2d elevator n he goes down 2hell,   Now d doors of d elevator open n he's in d middle of a barren land covered with waste n garbage, all his friends dressed in rags, picking up d trash n putting it in black bags as more trash falls frm above.d devil comes over 2 him n puts his arm around his shoulders.  "I don't understand, "stammers d Senator.  "Yesterday I was here What happened?  "grin devil smiles @him n says, "Yesterday WE were campaigning.  Today, YOU voted, "  Vote wisely in 2011 Elections!

^^ Onye-okwu:  You are very correct.  Tribal sentiments have beclouded most of our brothers/sisters from the SW.  I challenge any of them to show a thread where they supported Buhari before he picked Bakare!

What does Buhari represents?  See 10 reasons why this man cannot be trusted with the future of Nigeria.

i.    Islamisation of Nigeria.  This the No. 1 agenda for Bhari in the presidency. Bakare as VP will just be a puppet.  Highest role for him in Buhari cabinet would be to chair inter-religious committee.  He vowed to deep his Koran in the Atlantic.  He forgot the fate of those who preached this sermon in the past

ii.   Buhari hob-nobbing with the Abachas.  Birds of same feather flucks togeflocks He was quoted as saying that Abacha never stole

iii.  Buhari is being sponsored by Turai and the disgruntled cabal that almost riuned Nigeria.  Buhari is a coup plotter who trucated the second republic and did nothing to return power to civilians before his colleagues booted him out

v.   Buhari jail Nduka Irabor, Tunde Thompson, Tai Solarin, Fela, etc for offences that his kinsmen were free to commit. If he wins, FORGET FOI Bill!!! He will re-enact the Obnoxious Decree 20 of 1984

vi.  Buhari allowed 52 suit cases into the country while Fela was jailed for a few foreign currencies

vii. Buhari jailed politicians 182years and above for doing good.  Prof. Ambrose Alli of Bendel State then died as a result of this man's obnoxious act.

viii. Buhari is so self-centred that he could not build consensus with ACN to wrest power from PDP.  Instead, he chose Bakare to share the votes of the opposition in the South West

ix. General Buhari executed persons alleged to be drug pushers while members of his SMC were the drug barons.  He armtwisted the few people who asked questions and crated those he termed enemy of state

x. Instead of seeking solution to the failing economy under his regime in 1984, BUHARI embarked on TRADE BY BARTER.  He was giving out our oil for food importation.  This compounded our economic woes and the implication was the IMF conditionalities, food scarcity, hunger and destitution, military brutality, forceful autioning of goods due to hoarding, etc.

In eight (cool months, GOODLUCK has better news to tell Nigerians than the 20 months of BUHARI'S authoritarian rule characterised by brutality and inhumane treatment.

The list goes on and on!  CAN WE TRUST THIS SAME MAN IN 2011huh  NO WAY!!!

What are they AFRAID of?  Perhaps this will signal their final defeat!!!

It would be a BIG disgrace for the BB team to lose this election, unfortunately they are going down with already down Shekarau & Ribadu.  Bakare should have advised Buhari against this withdrawal.

Well if they fail to attend, they LOSE my vote to GEJ.  Period!

Politics › Re: Acn 2011 Presidential Primarie Is Live On Tvc @ Onikan Stadium Lagos by Validated: 1:00am On Jan 15, 2011
Honestly, ACN should have adopted a nationalistic, open and well coordinated election through the ballot like the PDP did yesterday.  The PDP primary watched live around the world is commendable and gives Nigeria a good image in the comity of democratic nations.  Now that Ribadu has been selected, I doubt if the alliance with CPC would ever come to fruition.  Talking about alliances, they have never worked in Nigeria though, remember the Olu Falae days till date.

My honest take on this is that baring unforeseen circumstances, PDP and Goodluck are coasting home already.   For you to defeat the PDP machinery that is heavily loaded with passion to win elections, you must be on the ground, not just in 1/6 of the nation but across the nation.  Yes ACN will win in the SW, but trust me it can never be a landslide, the highest would likely be in the region of 70:30 vote sharing with PDP.

In the event that the CPC/ACN alliance does sail through, CPC would take about 60-70% of the core North (NW & NE) via sympathy votes.  Unfortunately again, this is wishful thinking because the PDP governors in the core North would want to return to office.  The rest of Nigeria (SE, NC whole on middle belt, and SS) would be dominated by the PDP. I understand that the winner of the presidential race by simple majority.

Fascinatingly, this appears to have some divine angle to it considering how IBB, Gusau & Atiku fell by the way side.   God bless Nigeria!
