oyatz: So you honestly believe that the air craft which Boko Haram showed bursting into flames mid air will leave wreckages like this, including an intact (cloth) name tag instead of ashes and debris? The pilots must have ejected from the plane, seconds after their plane was hit, but were later caught and shot by Boko Haram, that explains why their clothes and phones were intact. |
Politics › Re: Why Is The Nigerdelta Silent? What's Our Use In This Forum As Regards Sovreignty by vanunu: 5:25am On Apr 03, 2021 |
NigerDeltaRep: Well it's plain obvious that The Niger Delta cannot be part of BIAFRA, Both in natural political reasons.. cus igbo culture naturally makes everyone present in the government because of the language unity, while a creeksman will prefer to have carefully choosen representatives take what he wants to the fore front while he stays home and makes sure they are implemented.. This clear contrast and the fact that BIAFRA has and always will be an Ndigbò thing is one reason we can't join another ticking Nigeria...
We'd prefer to cast our lots within ourselves like we've been doing since the days of king Jaja..and I'll always say. Porthacourt and Edo won't just be ordinary cities in a country thats populated and personalized by a single tribe..... But the issue is that we have naturally war built men ready to fight and take what's ours.. but the real reason we don't have a say yet in the independence talk making it look like we are the ones holding things up is that we have no clear umbrella to gather our numerous tribes into... We're ready and maintain we want to be on our own...on the issue of the the Imo River we'll have to talk it over with the Biafrans diplomatically or never... But for now we should worry about the threat NE of our border @ the imo river. (were abia and Rivers State borders are). The place I'm talking about is obigbo.. the military has used a guise of restoring peace with the aid of wike to prolong their illigal stay in the very sensitive area... Obigbo must be rid of those pests or we should forget about Rivers State.. which is impossible to think of doing.. We in this forum could start something... It won't take anything. We'd grow it gradually. Should we join MEND? And form a political wing? Because obviously no one would take us serious if we bow put any warlord as our leader.. we need a land headed by an head of state and a presidentially appointed prime minister as head of government.. To balance and share power without stessing the ethnic sensitivity..

Killings in the north is not new, it has been going on for centuries, when Dan fodio came, he slaughtered thousands of Hausas and Northern minorities, after his death, his followers continued where he stopped until the British stopped them in Adamawa. During the British rule, there was a lot of killings in the middle belt area and north central, also Igbos were slaughtered at least two times in the north under the colonial rule.. At independence, more than 30,000 Igbos were slaughtered in the north and since then, the killings has not stopped. |

Jashub: But them forming an armed group is the solution abi? Are you aware that the current government of Nigeria runs a marginalized style of government in which IPOBs are seen as rebels? The solution is for your rogue govt to stop the apartheid and hate system of govt they are operating. Any where in the world where this rogue system exist, there will not be peace. A good example of this is the case of Sudan, at independence, the Sudan govt decided to relegate the southerners to second class citizens. The end result was war that lasted for so many years. The Nigerian govt should stop their hatred for the Igbos. . |

It is the rogue and discriminatory system of you country that forced these people to carry arms, which is totally bad, you can recall that when these people were carrying flag up and down, the police and army were using them for shotting practice, instead of using diplomatic means to settle the dispute. |
Politics › Re: Miyetti Allah: You Will Leave North If Your Governors Insist On Evicting Herders by vanunu: 2:59pm On Feb 21, 2021 |
Gjrich: Alhaji Sadiq Ibrahim Ahmed, the Bauchi State chairman of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) on Saturday, February 20 pledged that the association would resist any attempt by Southern governors to evict herdsmen.
The MACBAN chairman said it would be tit for tat by the north should the herders be evicted from the south. Accrording to Alhaji Ibrahim Ahmed, everyone has the right to live anywhere he or she wants.
He said; “In fact, herdsmen, based on their activity of pastoralism, own every part of Nigeria. So why should anyone go against the constitution?
‘’If the southern governors insist on sending our people away, we will have no option than to send their people packing too.
“We are no fools. We are only studying the situation. We are all human beings.
“If the leaders want to cause problems, they should not forget about the ordinary citizens.
“For now, we will remain loyal and we will also educate our people on the need for peaceful cohabitation. We won’t act like the foolish governors.
“If the custodians of law say there is no law, then are we the ones to uphold the law? We are only trying to protect our integrity for now.
“Besides, we can survive on our own because we produce our own food. Aside former President Olusegun Obasanjo in the Southwest, who else can feed up to 100 people?”
Sadiq, who added that any killer herdsman arrested should be severely dealt with, said the association will never encourage any criminality by herdsmen in the South We have our own traditional food. |
