Many poor people in society, aishatu giving on Christmas? Islamic way of recruiting poor, gullible, uncontentious and innocent Christian to Islam. One of Islamic agendas. Beware

The real poor people are all around us in real life and not online!

This is now turning into a NOTICE me gesture on nairaland.

Is Aisha2 saying she doesn't know any single mum in need in her community?

It was babymama now aisha2.

I don't have a problem with giving but I'm beginning to feel this is more like a popularity contest for those with little change on nairaland.

People in need are everywhere, we don't need nairaland to get across to them if indeed we are giving without expectations.
Bia, mr analyzer of the world. So you now live with her abi? Some people cannot just be happy seeing others doing good. You really need Jesus.

If you can afford to get a small place. Please leave. You sound like someone who can be dependent already why not take a bold step and leave, fear a jealous woman like you would fear ebola outbreak.
I pray you make the right decision on time.

cryI just feel like saying it all here.... I feel so shallow, empty and undefined...i dont know where to go Neither do I know how to go about it...
I have no job
I have no money
I have no girlfriend/fiancee
I have no friend except for my church folks
I have no savings but debts
I tried to secure a job but it was a scam
I was duped in that process
I have a career but it's at standstill
I am currently left alone
I don't know what to do any longer
I can't just kill myself, thou
I am so pained, but, well
I keep hoping things will be well, but really
I am at a standstill... What can I do?
I have prayed
I have fasted,
I have work for God
I have helped the work of God
I have cried for helpers, but
I have not seen one
I have struggled since secondary school,
I fought a war of survival at the University
I feel so pained
I don't want to remember it, yet
I am still at it, even attimes
I borrow just to eat,
I have to cater for myself
I am no more in their budget,
I keep trying hard
I reasoned way out but
I just didn't get it
I have sank in the deep troubled water of life
I need help....... Help me O God. Help me.
#I, I, I...

This thread made me recall an event that happened in my childhood.
So we had this neighbor with a leaking mouth, she practically had no secret.
After a while, her husband was laid off were he worked and paid off too. You can imagine the worth of 350thousand naira in the early 90s.
Darling husband brought the money home because it was friday and banks had closed, when oga took a stroll, madam as usual brought her friends and showed them the money. Guess what? That night, thieves came, beat them up and made away with the money and every valuable thing they had. Afterwards, things got so bad they had to relocate to the village. sad

Falabs:
Please NLs, brought this here to get your opinions about the subject. My mum says it's a tradition in our family. In my own opinion, I'd rather give my first salary as my first fruit in church than share with family members. This issue has made me & my mum to be at loggerheads. Pls I'd like to know, how did you spend your first salary?
Please do not be at loggerheads over such an issue...
Both of you should meet halfway... if you can give the first month, you can also give the second month out too.
Use the first two months to settle God and your family...
Nor be everything person go fight over na. The Lord is your strength

Rhukie:
@nwababy, if I was your brother's fiance you would complain till thy kingdom come and I won't change. what you termed love and acceptance I see it as imposition of thoughts of what you think is right.

I dated my husband (if registry will count as a wedding) for years and I never for once liked any form of familiarity with them, rarely attend his family function and when I do, you will not find me till in am about to leave for my house. food sef I no go chop before they will say she didn't do anything but knows how to eat.

why should she help you pick money at an event when your younger siblings were present? and don't you think she was trying to avoid an embarrassment from people who don't know who she is while picking the money. and why should you make such statement about her family, when you know nobody likes their family to be bad mouthed and I am sure if the situation had turned around and your brother told you his fiance said what you told her, you may react worse than she did.

there are so many loopholes in your narration and what you termed love actually seem like a controlling and overwhelming act.

CHEATING IN MARRIAGE is way way different from CHEATING IN BOYFRIEND/GIRLFRIEND relationships..

I have seen enough to start tp pity women. I have witnessed a Man whose wife tracked him to a (Corner side) hotel in Port Harcourt and confronted him live in the reception.. As the Woman was losing her mind and acting a fool there, the Man looks to the Hotel Manager like to say; What type of embarassment is this.. Nna men, Na so Security come evict the woman from the Hotel o!! shocked shocked shocked The Man collect Key, carry ehn Babe enter room.. shocked shocked LIVE!! As in!!! I was in shock.. A few hours later, the Man comes out and drives away.. The WOman was still outside inside her car crying..

I have seen Women whose husbands even impregnated a girl outside stay in the marriage.. Even made moves to adopt the child from the side boo.

Marriage I tell the young ones is a big game changer.. Everything you thought you knew about marriage flies out the window most especially when you are in an unfaithful and abusive relationship.. [/b]

Its obvious you have feelings for the maid. How else can anyone explain why you are so interested in her pregnancy when you are not the one who is responsible for it. Why not make your feelings known to her if its worth it so you can be free from the emotional torture you are currently passing through?
Bia oga/madam.... you do not know what it is to be a good Nigerian abi? We've totally lost our true african nature which is charity... now its all man for himself just like the europeans... do you know the amount of disasters that have been aborted because people refused to mind their business?

Okay, give your Moma a written list of qualities you would want in a woman.
