Politics › Re: Atiku's Star Witness faults US Court Judgment On Tinubu's Forfeiture Of $460,000 by Vello(m): 8:47am On Jun 24, 2023 |
[quote author=seunmsg post=123996420]Atiku and Peter Obi have both closed their respective cases without proving how they won the election. So, the idea of the court declaring any of them the winner of the election is out of the equation.
The second part of their plea is to get Tinubu disqualified on three grounds. Shettima’s so called double nomination that has now been thrashed by the Supreme Court. 25% of FCT that the two parties seems to have abandoned as they didn’t push this argument seriously. Even if they’ve pushed it, section 299 already made it clear FCT should be treated like a state so it won’t even matter.
The third argument is to get him disqualified by a combination of certificate forgery, dual citizenship and drug conviction.
The certificate forgery is of two nature. Chicago state university and NYSC. As regards Chicago state university, the University already issued a public statement that Bola Tinubu graduated from the University. That alone is enough to settle the matter. All the gymnastic about the color or font of certificate is nonsense.
On NYSC, I would have expected Atiku’s legal team to subpoena NYSC to prove the authenticity of the certificate submitted by Tinubu but they failed to do that. So, how did they arrive at the conclusion that the certificate was forged? NYSC is the only authority that can confirm the authenticity or otherwise of an NYSC certificate.
On the drug conviction issue, it is as empty as the lawyer PDP brought to as witness to prove the case. The witness simply helped PDP to ruin a case that was faulty right from the start. There was no criminal conviction or indictment in the forfeiture. The communication from the US government to the IGP already cleared him of all allegation.
Overall, Atiku and Peter Obi simply wasted everyone’s time. They had no case of rigging so they had to throw in a lot of allegations hoping one will stick. Sadly, they proved none. The two cases will be dismissed with heavy cost to the petitioners. [/quote The rigging narrative that black attired undertaker wanted to push would only boomerang and expose the high level of rigging himself and his party perpetrated. He deliberately abandoned that argument. Bunch of born losers |

kpakpakpa: I can't tell how the hearing loss came in. Like i earlier said, i was having stomach pain(the doctors said it was typhoid) which became so severe that i stayed in a teaching hospital for months. It was when they wanted to discharge me that i noticed my left ear was not functional, i complained immediately but they said it was the effect of some drugs which they use because my condition was a life and death situation that compel them to use drugs, that i may be normal soon but all my ears stop processing sound after 3days when i left the hospital. I did not have any ears problem prior to that time My brother, I feel your pain and putting myself in your shoes, I cannot but feel strong empathy with your situation. Going forward, I think you need to look outside the country for solution. In the meantime, institute legal proceedings against the hospital and sue for damages. Hopefully you come out victorious, you'll be able to finance your treatment abroad. My 2day old daughter was also administered strong antibiotics for almost 2 weeks until I complained that it was getting too much. A later study of my baby's case file revealed that antibiotics that should not have been administered were actually given to her but thank God she's a fighter, she's fine and bouncing today. Reason for this epistle is that hospitals get away easily with life threatening mistakes. Please sue the hospital. |

sonature1: Leadership at the national level transcends building infrastructure. What Peter Obi is proposing is a total overhaul of the Nigerian state (instilling sanity and the rule of law) and expanding our economic frontiers (we call it diversification here).
There's so little the states can do in those areas. We need those more than anything else.
By the way, I noticed that you don't like Peter Obi, so you are likely going to attack him in your rejoinder to this comment. Sorry, bros, I won't react to it. Please tell, where there is separation of powers and independence of Judiciary and legislature, how exactly does Obi plan to "overhaul the system"? See, I understood politics, governance and the functioning of the institutions and I wish I was in one of Peter Obi meetings, I'd put the question to him and ensure his response is put on camera. How can someone overhaul without causing destruction in a democracy? Are we saying he's going to shut the national assembly and command the legislators to reduce their salary by fiat or flog the Judiciary into compliance with his stereotypical ideology? Most Obi supporters do not take the time to study government and governance enough to ask him pertinent questions. |

Education › Re: 25% Requirement: Solve This Mathematics Word Problem by Vello(m): 6:49am On Apr 20, 2023 |
WesternPanzer: No need of speaking long grammar. I have another formular albeit more straight forward.
(A) To gain admission to UNIZIK, a candidate must score at least C in 6 subjects including Mathematics and English. Even if you scored As in 9 subjects but had Fs in English and Maths, you have failed automatically.
The Admissions board by this demand confers special status on Mathematics and English even though they are still "subjects" like others.
By implication, same situation applies to the 25% requirement in my opinion.
The Constitution by that section granted Special Status to Abuja as the Federal Capital Territory even though it may still be interpreted as a State.
As long as Tinubu did not score 25% in Abuja, he is an illegal President Elect based on the constitution. Reason most world leaders are not congratulating him.
This is also why Datti Ahmed said that swearing in Tinubu will be an assault on Nigeria's Democracy because doing so would be unconstitutional.
But what do I know? Nigeria has always been a huge crime scene where the highest criminals gets their way. Know this and know peace.
N.B One reminder to those quoting me. Lets not also Forget that The So called President elect forfeited 460,000 dollars in money related to drug crimes. Do you honestly believe that if he didnt know he will be convicted, he will forfeit thay money?
The Tinubu I know as a Sly Fox is well aware that the US authorities have damning evidence against him and pursuing "Not Guilty" will nail him to the Cross of Chicago. Reason he forfeited. Make no mistakes about this. in your selective wisdom, a single Abuja resident is equivalent to 800,000 votes from other states combined, right? Let me ask you, if this situation is reversed and your candidate Obi met all other criteria but this Abuja 25% imbroglio is brought against him by Asiwaju, would you have said all you just said? On the forfeited sum in the US, much as I believe Asiwaju owes no one explanation for a case as far back as more than 30yrs prior but for posterity, I'll tell you that US law has no place for plea bargaining in narcotics if you're found guilty of the act. No one talks about Atiku's US criminal case, no one talks about Obi's Pandora case, none talks about Obi's UK detention and the basis. It's all about Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu!!! Why so petty! Why so devious! Why so irrational! And Christians that preaches love are mostly in the forefront of this devilish act. What a country and citizens whose psyche is bastardized to hound and kill their best on the alter of religion and tribal considerations |

The IG of police should not also forget to sanction the state commissioner of police who accompanied the REC to carry out the act.
