Gadaffi has obviously lost power over Libya. When the power was waning his government decided to set up democratic elections within the next few months but the rebels and the West rejected the offer. Now he is not fighting to rule again. He is fighting for his pride and life cos he knows if the rebels capture him, they would kill him like Saddam |
juman:What happened in Benghazi was a protest where people went into army barracks to steal weapons as an insurrection against the government. The government like any other in the world would react and people unfortunately will die. The incident was overhyped and Gadaffi who has not had any mass killings on his record was suddenly made a monster. A prerequisite for the invasion. Those who asked for intervention were his opposition. Why not let nations handle and manage their conflicts than external violent interventions. So far more than 50,000 people have died. Thanks to the lenghtened NATO war |
The above picture is really distubring, |
umechuma:America shud come cos we're too incompetent to solve our own problems, right? |
Libyan NTC = Libyan National Terrorist Council |
I hope he paid the Police detectives visits too. |
International Issues where OBJ earned my respect. - He stood against the war in Iraq - He never agreed with the West against Mugabe - His peace mediations in Liberia and Sudan. Although he tricked Charles Taylor by accepting him and later delivering him to the World court. - His stance against NATO interference in Libya. Despite this man's flaws, for standing for the African interest and not being a Yes-man to the West, he deserves commendations |
all4naija:You're the mor0n . You didn't even read the first post completely before making your claims. People I know who have been to Tripoli describe it as even more beautiful than European cities. Check out pictures for yourself [quote} The “Arab Spring” has hurt livability ratings of cities in the Middle East and North Africa, with Tripoli – which has unraveled into street fighting in recent weeks – ranking among the worst cities for the first time (the survey was done in July, before the rebel assault).

|
DeeDeeMors:Source for more graphic jobs Master Photoshop (it's your most veritable software resource) Don't just do what others out there are doing. Be creative so your designs can stand out Goodluck |
OAM4J:Oh please I wasn't advertising. I was dropping my number so someone who wanted to sell a modem could contact me. The way nairaland is these days, one has to hold his breath before posting with the fear of getting banned. Thanx to mr antispam bot |
A Libyan called the Rebels "NATO's Ground Troops" |
Could someone please respond to this? https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-490918.2144.html#msg9034416 |
Yeah I said the parents/guardians should be jailed. A child does not deserve to go through such trauma at early stages of their lives like this. These children are far too underaged to begin this work. What the parents are doing is using the children to make money for themselves at such an early age. Well Nigeria is not a civilized society yet for a proper address to this issue |
Their parents/guardians should be jailed immediately and the government should do something better about their welfare. Nigeria lacks proper child welfare organisations. That's why things could aggravate to this. |
Gbenge 77:You said it all bro. Jonathan would be a Gadaffi rather than resign ![]() |
Nigerian security are obviously a big joke. We have had numerous bombings since last year with no single suspect convicted for doing so. We're certainly living on God's mercies. |
cold:I agree with Femi Falana on this. If the government can't protect us, they should empower us to protect ourselves. |
I'll travel abroad, lol ![]() |
werepeLeri:Even a five-year old wont classify this statement as smart. |
reindeer:Lol, Hilarious |
mama-gee:No I didn't hear. could you state authentic proof please. All the so called billions of dollars the West calls seized were his country's money. Ever wondered why they're calling hima thief now he's being witchhunted? |
I trust Nigerian Police. Majority of suspects are very unconnected. |
You informed an incompetent securty system about bomb threats and expected them to do something?? ![]() |
Why are you acting like he took the presidential position to play good politics for Nigerians. He took it simply cos it's the biggest office in the country and there are lots to benefit from it. This guy wont quit no matter what no matter how incompetent he is. Expect him to run for another term in 2015. |
Can do better. |
@ Peleson, U mean I should join the Nigerian police? Shey na curse or na bad prayer? Back to sender, lol. Security is not my training specialty. They're tonnes of competence trained personnel that could improve Nigerian security. It's is left for the government to utilise them |
narttis1:The so-called civilian protesters were stealing weapons in the army barracks. Government troops were sent to stop the weapon looting and people died in the process. That became the excuse for the NATO bombings. Also the rebels were armed by France and the Qatari puppets @Dauchman, It's not that they are not so smart. They've been brainwashed by too much CNN and Aljaeera |
Don't blame this move. The UN is their interest. We'd do the same if our agencies abroad were attacked, at least to some extent. |
I have been hearing dat Libyan Rebels in Benghazi are Negro-haters. How true is this cos I know the Ghadaffi is not racist. |
sizzlers:No, we are a sovereign nation. We should be able to solve our problems without the help of anybody. If we can't then we should condemn our government's incompetencies. |
Dumbass ungrateful militant rebels simply showing a skinny muscle. Without NATO Gaddafi would have smoked them and the crisis would have been over since March |
Could someone please explain to me why anytime I post my phone or email contact details I get banned? This is getting really frustrating. I hope someone here has the power to correct that. It has happened twice so far. Latest was this morning My post was also deleted. I was informing someone to contact me about a modem. |
