Libyans could be so ungrateful. We know Ghadaffi had his flaws which did not exempt murder, secret police etc. But is there a government in the world without this? But he gave Libyans everything they needed from education to amenities. If UK had so much amenities why would its citizens use riots as means to loot unnecessarily? |

Hear stories ooo. Abeg let someone come out with the verified truth about 419 abeg. Pls don't 419 the truth from us ooo |
Why won't Ghadaffi be evil? The most wicked dictator ever who murders his own people? When we listen to those who are his enemies, and want to enslave his nations like they've enslaved many others. Ghadaffi made Libyans a major priority in all his decisions and investments. He cared less about the West. He wouldn't buy their weapons or accede to their wishes. If you were the West would you say something good about this man. It's good we look at the perspective which people broadcast news/opinions from. Anyways, I think Ghadaffi messed up big time. He should have thought of this long ago. - He should have strengthened Libya's military immensely like Syria did. - He should have installed a powerful government military base in Bengazi cos that's where his major opposition are. - He should have never abandoned his $500 million nuclear project they were working on - They should have remained like Iran, North Korea, Venezuela and never shook hands with the West. I believe in democracy, but if should not be enforced on nations. If there is any nation where that should commence it shuld be Saudi arabia. But Saudi Arabia is like a US protectorate, touch them and US would bring every marine they have against you. Hypocrisy staring at us in the face and we all still can't see the light. Kudos to peeps like the poster who goes to investigate for the truth. Propaganda has always been a strong effective tool. How do you think Hitler brainwashed the whole Nazi Germany to think Jews were accursed? |
What if what was happening in Libya, people becoming rebels and carrying up arms against the government was happening in Nigeria? Would you
[li]Carry a gun against the Nigerian Government? [/li] [li]Carry a gun for the Nigerian government?[/li] [li]Simply watch like a bystander and see how it goes?[/li]
It's happened in Libya unprecedentedly, who knows Nigeria could be faced with the same issue so what would you do? |
People's ego's should not be inflated especially when there is a need to work as a team. |
You're simply trying to say that we shud stop embracing them cos they are not embracing us. But come to think of it, if another nation comes to your country and majority of what they do is illegality, would you continue tolerating them? Didn't we try to push Ghanians out in the 1980s? |
Very Hilarious ![]() |
We're getting used to hearing about bombings in Abuja since Jona came to power. What's really vexing me is dat dis guy still thinks this is fisherman politics, untill they bomb Aso rock maybe he'll sit up or something and make security one of his priorities. |
Rhea:You're nothing but a judgemental bigot. Shame on you too |
South Africa shows that its leaders have a mind of their own and do not necessarily have to listen to the West at all times. Thumbs up to them and leaders like Mbeki and Zuma that stood up for TRUTH |
Nah, western propaganda made him the Devil and using the face that he wasn't so popular among his people used it as an alibi to unseat him |
What's bad in admiring a strong black woman? Everybody has their quirks as long as he's not thinking of screwing her as Condoleeza is sexually undesirable |
Can't Jonathan speak for himself? He's simply boosting Abati's career. Well I'm kinda tired of hearing Jonathan speak. All talk, no action makes Jona a dull president |
i have bin puzzling my brains out wondering why any Nigerian would want to bomb the UN. What message are they trying to pass? Is it an act against the government or the international community? The motive here seems ridiculous. |
Businessman turned actor Actor turned man of God Man of God turned Actor Actor turned Lawyer Very interesting life he has. Hope he is fulfilled. |
This is not fair on a leader who has prospered his nation for many decades. Why repay him with such ridicule? Shame on the Arabs |
Is MASSOB really speaking with the Igbo voice? |
I am now of the opinion that this controversial governor spends unnecessarily to gain attention. |
Great Thread. But please the title should be corrected. Libyans never removed Ghadaffi, NATO did. If the bombing never begun, Libya would have just been cracking down on Rebels in Benghazi but NATO began bombing and here we are. Enforcing regime change to their own interest. In no time, Libyans would ask for the Green flag back. |
when are u all ever going to realise that the West backs only those who are in their own interst. They could have simply remained neutral but they backed the Nigerian govt, cos they just probably cudnt stand one of their colonies being divided. i'm not Igbo, but I agree with d poster's view. |
Where was Nigeria when the AU needed their voice to stop NATO'S bombing campaign to overthrow a country's gevernment. now all we could do is rant at the end for a government dat has been 50% more effective dan their democracy. Gej's foreign afrairs is a ultimate mess. kudos to Jacob Zuma. That guy's won my admiration |
I totally agree. however, I do not recommend Buhari-like consequences for defaulters ![]() |
They've been advertising welll |
