You sick psychos! I've missed my old life. I've put in so much of me into something I really hoped and wanted to work. You cynical bastards can probably guess it didn't. Life goes on. And I'm a firm proponent of moving on. Move along and don't cause a traffic jam in the space-time continuum. So, as a token of my return, I'll single handedly bring this thread back to life. Come on, you scousers, look alive. The ace is back.

I couldn't resist a jab at Karma. Why do you think anyone, let alone the whole friggin planet wants to hold you down? And, uh, how did you manage to swear without Seun's software picking it up? I wanted to write Di.ck once, you know, like Di.ck Tracy, and the annoying sanctimonious program turned it into privates. Couldn't even change it to Johnson or something less prude. Damn software. What were you guys talking about again?

A little tipsy, are we, Max? Or did you not just say again again, lol. Yeah, it's more the soundtrack than the film that's funny in Beverly hills cop. I hope my enigma machine is not beyond yours. And morse is out of fashion.

This film is the only film my old school geezing parents seem to know. They still call the poor guy Akeem. It's funny I saw this film twice recently. I agree with JeSoul, no matter the amount of travesties Eddie commits, this film (and the Beverly hills cop installments) more than makes up for them. And to think he produced this film at that time. Does anyone know an earlier film he'd been in? MAX! Is my homing device faulty or is yours?

JeSoul. Na wa o. Na me and you today. I bet some old man or woman has called you 'my daughter' before (me, I'm usually called 'my husband' by elderly women to my acute bewilderment) but you hardly take them literally na. Look at it this way. I'm Happy Potter and Max is any number of witches who think the world of the scar on my forehead.

Almost forgot JeSoul. No mind these Wii haters. Asides from the fact that Nintendo is like the Da Vinci of gaming, the Wii is like the Mona Lisa. Hehe, I exaggerate but Nintendo games grow on you. U find yourself becoming a fan. Their hardware become more than just objects. They become pets. All of you admit it. You miss your gameboys. I remember when gameboy advance was released. You can't beat the fanfare, the longing of the fanboys, and girls

O ga o. Why una no go leave Max alone na. She merely hinted at some cryptic dude despite waiting for about a decade not hesitating in kicking her out if she committed some abominable crime. Make someone go open a thread about Max. Let's talk about The Time Traveller's Wife, lol.

@JeSoul. I hardly went on na. I enjoy psychology. A favorite pasttime. My comment was meant to draw responses from 3 of you. Na only Karma no get skeleton for cupboard

Men. It seems there's something about Vesc that attracts the con-artists. I just reel them in it seems.

My name is Vesc d'Angelus. I'm 87 feet tall and my profile takes an interest in you too. He'll be getting his Hot ass in your direction presently. You just wait.

Hehe, JK, you too wise. But I no talk say the antidote free na. I need your soul for eternity plus some if you want it. You no wan sell your soul to the devil for the antidote? Ok, I'll be nice since me and you go way back. Bring me the horn of a purple unicorn, the dried sweat of the loch ness monster, a carpet made of the combined fur of a yeti, big foot and tail hair of a bengal tiger. And, oh, almost forgot, I need an elixir concocted from the engine oil, sorry blood, of a decepticon and chakra of any akatsuki member. Did anybody say babalawo? Hehe, thank your stars you're my dawg and I went easy on you. Holla in a week and we'll do business.

What weekend do I hear of? The week is just begun. Funny I was just wondering about you, workaholic. Shawty get loose and get set loose. Have mercy Sam Fischer.

oh, man. I hope Max won't get burned. Of course, Karma's yoruba is as good/better cuz she was cooked well while she was here.

Jk, it seems you've metamorphosised into the thing that I fear of turning into. That's what hanging around here does to ya. Should have asked me for the vaccine. Well, I still got the antidote. Funniest thing is I thought tpia was male. How about that?

BTW why are y'all dissecting the Aniston-Brad-Angelina love triangle?
TV/Movies › Re: Hollywood: Favourite Movies, Actors and Awards. Tinseltown reviews & Gossip by vescucci(m): 11:03am On Aug 21, 2009
Yeah. The notebook was cool. Good twist on the cliched Shreky love story. I like the casting. No especially big names. I like the millionaire father. He could do a Daniel Day Lewis look alike in a film. Someone should weave a story around them.

I think I hate weddings but I wouldn't miss this one for all the money in the world.

Karma get plenty trouble o, Max. It's just that she intends making you wedding planner. You can do no wrong, for now

Hehe, Max. I didn't know you had it in you. Picked the wrong foe for starters. People say 'pick on someone your own size', but with you, it'll be for a whole different reason. Tread softly.

Ahem, I didn't know Karma fancied gangsters selling stolen laptops. Simon Baker, Idriss Whatsit, Daniel Craig etc. Aswerigawd! (pumping fists)

No2, my brother from another mother, how do you like your coffee/women? I hope you don't like this lot. They'll dump you for their boys/men a hundred times over.

The film I'm looking forward to is a documentary film called Earth. I heard it took 5years to make. Got a sneak peek almost two months ago and it's simply breath taking. Nothing you haven't seen before, mind. But you'll appreciate the planet you live in and not be too smug about the home of the Red Sox. :-p

@Spike, how you dey? Tarantula, cough, Tarantino never disappoints. It's that simple. You blaspheme.

@JeSoul, get with the program. I watch movies for different reasons. G.I.Joe will be cuz of the effects & action. No worthy acting there. The cast almost discourages me. Sometimes, I see a movie cuz it has a theme I wanna learn about. Sometimes, I see a film cuz I'm a fan of the source material: books, comics, plays etc. Sometimes, I'm suicidal.

Y'all keep on praying me. My mojo is declining very fast.

@Max, I didn't mean the films scare me 'wet my pants' shitless. They just get me thinking. They stay with me a long time. There must be some phobia for it cuz the ones that get me involve kids just like this Orphan thingie. The only times I couldn't sleep was when I was a lil kid & I occasionally hazard a naija film. It turns fictitious entertainment into accurate documentary.

Lawd!

Would you ladies give it a rest? Jeeeeeeeeeeeez!

I hope I don't turn bi by the time y'all are throught with me.

@JeSoul, Freddy Krueger is actually scared shitless of me. He's busy on the other side trying to evade having me in his sleep. You see, when I sleep I go straight to his real world and I torment him silly. Anyway, jokes aside, I don't get scared with 'scary' movies that show me all the tricks. I would never be scared of a thousand films that I actually see the demons on screen. The really scary film are those the leave me at the mercy of my own imagination. The Omen (even though it's almost cliched, I think this is positively the most scary film ever, for me at least), The Exorcist, Sixth Sense, Stir of echoes etc Those are scary films. Not the ones that ghouls, demons, ogres, vampires, witches and wizards, warlocks, dragons, centaurs, magic potions, crucifixes, gypsies, etc are flying all over the place.

And no, I haven't seen G.I.Joe, yet

@Ariblaze

Nah, I'll pass. Elton is not my type. Grapevine has it that he loves young ready-for-marriage candidates to scratch the spots that his wig don't quite cover, among other things

@Blue, I hope I'm not the object of your disdain. For I'd rather you do your own dirty work, wink, than the infinitely distasteful Kay9. grin

Hehe. Nice to know you now listen to M.I. I wonder what took you so long.

I'm not a chicken I'm a rooster.

M.I. meant to use the words in dual comparison. I wish I remember all the logic terms. He's not chicken (sissy), he meant, and not that he's not a chicken. He's a rooster, for he crows (and is it far from the truth that he's male like a rooster?) in contrast with a chicken.

Probably the booze is interfering with your thoughts. I need to get you some real nigerian ish so you can light it up and blaze it

I was gonna come here gun blazing and plain ballistic till I read the first post. Though I do not really see how hard it is to 'get' the movie but it might help if you realize that there are at least 5 stories being told in Sin City. Some of them stain each other and none is wholly independent but try to see the stories from the POV of the narrator. Willis, Rourke, Owen and Hartnett all narrated at some point or the other in the movie. Hope this helps cuz I rate Sin CIty waaay up there.
