Well, lookee here. Ms. Vowels just loves to flirt with the wrong end of homicide. What're you doing rating TDK 60%?

Don't mind Karma. She does not possess a heart. She's been asimilated by the borg. Does anyone watch Star Trek here? I mean, back then? I hope so cuz I'm a fan of Gene Roddenberry. I miss Spikyn cry

People dissing Wall-E should do it quietly cuz if there's anyone who loves Brad Bird more than I do, it's Spikyn. And it's all I can do not to take Wall-E haters into the woods and murder them. Wall-E is a classic. Possibly as good as E.T. Get past the metal parts for pete's sake. How I wish this was a Dreamworks production.

@Max, lucky you love Wall-E. Lassie is a classic film. Probably before you were born, lol. It's about the most beautiful retriever I've ever seen in my entire life. Look it up.

@JeSoul, you're only making me like the bloke less, you know. Thank God for The pursuit of happiness, Ali and I, Robot

@Max. The book is about a boy unloading on an older and wiser woman upon his new found love. Ring any bells?

I was gonna ignore this but I couldn't stomach it. DKNY, politically correct crap makes me sick. The can only be just that, the truth. Don't people make films where people are called niggers. red indians etc. If you ask me, I think the film's a tribute to India if anything at all. Like India isn't riddled with slums. Go to Rio, you can throw a stone from a skyscraper and hit an old woman selling beans cakes in front of her house. Embrace accuracy

I didn't know Superman had a copyright on taming gorillas. All this top twenty business makes me wonder if I've dropped mine. Have I, Max?

P.S. Will write soon

Anytime you need me dollface, just whistle. OK. I gotta go tame that hungry gorilla on the Empire State Building. See ya later kid. Remember, just whistle.

A woman with a good sense of humour? What's that Blaze? Are you talking about some kind of mythical creature?

Y'all need to cut it out with the foul language. And I'll absolutely not tolerate anyone bad-mouthing Mad-Max. As for TOH, do it at ur own peril.

And for the pool, Revolutionary Road or The Spirit.
TV/Movies › Re: The Movie Club by vescucci(m): 9:35pm On May 03, 2009
Cons. The film should have been released a few months earlier or later. Fans of Batman should've raided the Academy & shot dead everybody who didn't attest to the awesomeness of Nolan & Ledger's genius. Abi na genii? In fact I take back my previous rating. I now rate it 95% A dude has the right to rate as he pleases, does he not? In spite of this if anyone rates it less than 80%, he can consider himself in the centre of my Remington's cross hairs
TV/Movies › Re: The Movie Club by vescucci(m): 9:27pm On May 03, 2009
TDK was hyped. But not enough. I personally think a better opportunity will probably never again present itself for those knowledgeable and utterly hideous shitfest indulging cuntley cunts at the academy to award an action film with best picture. WTF? WTFF? Extra F means frigging. Pointing out the great things about the film only makes it look like it has some parts that are not quite good enough. I rate it 90%. The 10% is for airspace. Cons next
TV/Movies › Re: The Movie Club by vescucci(m): 9:12pm On May 03, 2009
Sorry y'all. I've been unavoidably away. JK, nice. Tell em. Hehe. And the current choice is just sublime. It's gonna be extremely hard to objective about this film cuz I'm a huge fan of Batman, Nolan, Bale, Oldman and one of the best performances I've ever seen in my brief life in Heath Ledger's The Joker. I guess this already shows how biased I'll be rating this film. Pros next.

@Max. I vaguely remember you girls talking about Stephen Dillane. He and Sophie, among a host of others were in a film called Firelight. Be sure to catch it if you haven't. Also I learnt of an old or obscure adaptation of Tolstoy's Anna Karenina. I think it should be good. I'm babbling abi? Evidence of a crush.
TV/Movies › Re: Hollywood: Favourite Movies, Actors and Awards. Tinseltown reviews & Gossip by vescucci(m): 11:37pm On Apr 26, 2009
All this talk of musicals remind me of Maama Mia. I haven't seen it but has anybody? JeSoul, don't mind Karma. She's too serious. Doesn't let her fall. It's like she's constantly being electrocuted, lol. If u have time, look up classics with Gene Kelly and/or Frank Sinatra in em. You'll instantly become a happier person. Karma, I'm already sorry. Honest.

@Max. Tis funny cuz I forgot Sophie was in a bond film. The World Is Not Enough.

TV/Movies › Re: Hollywood: Favourite Movies, Actors and Awards. Tinseltown reviews & Gossip by vescucci(m): 11:40pm On Apr 25, 2009
Tell you the truth Max. My tastes can be said to be bizarre. My favorite actors and actresses are quite old. 50 and above. There are very few young ones. As for crushing, I have a crush on a french actress, Sophie Marceau and Liv Tyler. All others I crushed on I've since grown out of & they include but are not limited to Lisa Kudrow, Renee Zellwegger's eyes, Catherine Zeta Jones, etc. But the dudes really are the ones that affect my seeing a film

Max, you're hopeless you know. Hehe. How many of us will it take to free you of this disease. Tell the truth. Blondie Blue Eyes spells Max' ideal dude. Well, asides from Ken. I love le Carre. I'll absolutely sip tea with him and pick his glorious bureaucratic brain.

I remember than part in Bourne Identity. Asides from the ridiculous translation, I wasn't entirely satisfied with the intonation either. But the film absolutely rocks regardless.

Hehe. Max, you can convince a bloke to buy shares in a folding corporation. But seriously though, apart from the RAF, the Beatles, Winston Churchill, Aston Martins and John le Carre. I can't think of anything british I like. Nick Carter. What a joker. His only book I read was tolerated cuz he was saying something about druids and stone henge. Dumb brits. Let's go to the other thread where it'll fair. You're grossly outnumbered here Max.
TV/Movies › Re: Hollywood: Favourite Movies, Actors and Awards. Tinseltown reviews & Gossip by vescucci(m): 6:25pm On Apr 24, 2009
@Spikyn. From now on, you're my godbrother. Fellow oldie lover. Fellow Spielberg lover. Fellow Bourne lover. You're too good to be true, my brother from another mother. But dude, you only get to vote two movies na.

Max, you're like my sister from another mother that won't stop eating candy. Bond is candy. And 12monkeys is awesome and quite old. No, very old. Brad and Bruce went cuckoo. Totally were uninhibited. Let loose. In other words, crazy.
