They're just a bunch of cowards. They've been around for over thirty years chanting war songs. The moment they are given money, they take it and go back to drink themselves senseless with ogogoro. They can never do anything serious. Just a bunch of jokers. They are possibly broke. Just give them more money. They will go back to drink. They can not kill a dead rat.

Education / Re: Enugu Begins Daily School Classes On Radio For Students Under Lockdown by VessyO: 10:08am On Apr 11, 2020
Rubbish. This is backwardness. Why can't our people, I mean Governors, ever adopt modern methods of doing things. Lagos State is teaching their students via Television. They teach each subject and solve WAEC past questions on the topic right there on TV. The same subject is repeated 1 hour after the first session of teaching it live. That's what they do, subject by subject. In this way, even a slow learner will catch up. Then, they created YouTube channel for each subject so the students who missed either the live or repeated TV version can still watch later, as many times as possible. This is the modern way to go. So our Governors should upgrade their knowledge pls and use technology to achieve modern learning methods for the benefit of our children.

Health / Re: Coronavirus: Nurses In Enugu Protest Over Lack Of Medical Equipment For Work by VessyO: 10:34pm On Apr 01, 2020
This now confirms that the innocent old woman died in Enugu after testing negative actually died from neglect and lack of care. Yet the shameless Governor came out to deny it. Well....God will handle all of them this period.

Kudos to the ABLE Governors of the South West. While their South East and South South counterparts are there holding several meetings just talking and talking, these noble states men who hold the lives of their people and all who live in their area dear took action and we just saw the result. You can't watch your people being slaughtered and you just keep talking and talking.

The man owns a large medical facility in USA. He is visionary in his thinking. If he has the best medical facility and research center here, I bet a good number of African countries will come down here. All these poor, empty heads can't see the future. This facility will open up ancillary businesses in this town. God bless this worthy son of Umuchukwu. Those who can't see anything good in other people's achievements should just go into their huts and keep quiet.

Education / Re: I Had 2.80 As CGPA Can I Still Have First Class? by VessyO: 2:18pm On Dec 14, 2019
First class is still possible for you. First make up your mind. Find what point you will make to get first class. Then give yourself at least 10 hours of studying everyday without stop and watch how your result will keep improving.
Religion / Re: Prophet Samuel Abiara Supports Social Media Bill by VessyO: 3:18pm On Dec 08, 2019
This man certainly is not a man of God. If he can support this evil bill then its not the Spirit of God that is leading him. God is exposing the fake pastors one after the other. His generation is the generation that destroyed Nigeria with lies. Now they are trying to gag the people from speaking out. Are there no existing laws against libel in this land? So why the social media bill? This is Decree 4 coming through the National Assembly.

She should be brought to book. She must not take the laws into her filthy hands and mete out this heinous despicable act on the lady. She must not be allowed to go Scot free.

It is just a shame that a good number of you Naira landers are like your fathers who have refused to acknowledge anything good coming from the East. How come we never heard that all other universities have been using electronic voting until today when UNIZIK successfully accomplished this feat? You guys go ahead and continue doing your e-voting with your empty mouths. We know where innovation always from in this country. Shame on the lazy drones who see nothing good in others. When INEC told us all that it was not possible now, you empty brains did not remember to tell them it's not lie...that so many universities are already using it. Congratulations UNIZIK.

Politics / Re: Cooking Gas Consumers Will No Longer Own Cylinders – FG by VessyO: 10:02am On May 22, 2019
This is a cumbersome arrangement. The government cannot achieve this because the framework for the implementation is not in place yet. As usual, this will just increase hardship on the consumers while the greedy dealers will hike up the price at the expense of the consumers. Inefficiency booting. #expectmorehardshipfornigerians#
Crime / Re: Anambra Man Commits Suicide By Hanging Himself On A Tree With Rope(photos) by VessyO: 4:29pm On Apr 03, 2019
The man was killed and hung on the tree. See the distance between him and the stool. He couldn't have pulled himself that high up above the stool.
Secondly, if he was standing on the stool before killing himself, he would have to kick off the stool in order to hang. Are his people blind?
The police should investigate the matter and fish out the wicked men who perpetrated this heinous crime. It may just be that the same people killed his in this manner years ago and got away with it. Now they returned and dealt with him. Household enemies. The police should quickly retrieve the corpse and round up all those who hurriedly threw it into the so-called evil forest.

Politics / Re: PMB At ICC: Proud To Be Nigerian By Femi Adesina by VessyO: 3:48pm On Jul 23, 2018
It is appalling that a journalist of Segun Adesina's status can write this nonsense that clearly portrays him as a servant praising his wicked master. So Buhari was silent on the shedding of the blood of all the innocent Nigerians killed y Fulani herdsmen and someone said he never felt prouder as Nigerian as his oga swept this crime against humanity under the carpet at the ICC? The lood of the innocents is crying out everyday before God Almighty. Even if you deceive the whole world, God sees and knows everything going on in this country. His judgement will surely descend on all murderers sooner than they expect. So continue with your blatant lies.

Jobs/Vacancies / These Job Interview Guidelines Will Help You Succeed In Landing Your Dream Job by VessyO: 12:41am On Jul 23, 2018
These Job Interview Guidelines Will Help You Succeed In Landing Your Dream Job

Introduction

Landing a job in Nigeria’s job market today is like the biblical carmel passing throughthe eye of the needle. Good job opportunities are few and the competition for them is getting increasingly fierce by the day. Here are some guidelines that you can apply to help you succeed at interviews and increase your chances of landing your dream job.

Give The Interviewers A Firm Handshake

This will show them that you are confident. Make sure your hands are free of sweat (usually caused by being nervous). Not everyone likes to shake hands (for various reasons), so always let the employer take the initiative.

Never Say Anything Negative About Yourself.

You are trying to impress the employer so that they can give you the job, so don’t give them an excuse to pass you over by talking about your flaws and failures.
Always look at the interviewers and direct your answers to them. Secondly, never about your past failures. Of course, everyone has failed in the past. But there is no need to mention it. Look at it this way. Let’s say you are running a catering business. You tell a potential client (who needs catering for his wedding) that there was a time when you accidently got orders mixed up. What will the potential client think of you?

Do Your Background Research On The Company

Do a thorough background research on the company’s operations and culture. It will not take much of your time. At the interview stage, you will be given the opportunity to ask questions. You need to demonstrate that you have a good knowledge of the company by asking very relevant questions concerning the company’s vision, mission, core values and operations. .

Ask Questions About The Industry The Company Is Involved In.

Ask questions about the industry the company is in. If the company is in the agriculture industry, maybe there are new laws and regulations coming into force that could impact the company. You could ask about new laws concerning the agricultural industry and how the company is conforming to such or how it is adapting new new technologies to improve its operations, sales or profits.
The question shows that you are intelligent, that you know current events and care about your future with the company (you have long term goals to be with the company). Interviewers will admire you for your sharp insight.
You can then ask basic questions about company culture and job (shift patterns, training etc).
You need to keep questions relevant to the position, and leave questions about pay, holiday and bonuses until the end.

Remain Professional At All Times.

This applies to dress code and the way you conduct yourself. Do not use slang terms or language that could easily be seen as inappropriate. For example, referring to an interviewer as ‘oga’, ‘boss’ etc is not acceptable. In a professional setting, these terms are not tolerated. You need to be mature at all times.

Go Online And Do A Quick Check On Your Possible Interviewer(s)

Most of the time you do not know who will interview you. But in the course of your researching on the company, you are likely to hae an idea of who your interviewers could be. It is a good idea to go online and do a quick check on them.
LinkedIn would be a good place to start. Check out the interviewer(s) profile, see what interests they have, and then try to relate to them in the interview.
For example, maybe you both share a passion about cars? Bring it up in your interview (as an interest). People are attracted to those who share similar interests. This practice will work in your favour.

If You Know People On The ‘inside’ Tell Them To Put In a Good Word For You.

Years ago, if you had a family or friend working with a particular company, they could get you inside easily by recommending you. Presently, it is harder as many companies have stricter recruitment policies. But the practice still applies. In some companies
So, if you know people on the ‘inside’, tell them to put in a good word for you. We have seen people get recruited because of good recommendation from a staff of a company. The company would be looking to fill positions quickly and if a loyal employee knows someone who can do the job, the recruiters are most likely to consent.
So make use of this tactic because it still works. In companies where there are stricter policies, it will not get you an instant job. But the recruiters will look out for your application. They will become favourably inclined towards you.

Conclusion

The aforementioned guidelines will definitely give you an edge over your competitors. So put them into practice in your job interviews and watch ‘luck’ smile on you. Remember, luck is where opportunity meets preparedness.

Good luck!
