badinfluence: After wasting my time typing out a lengthy response to this with my LordTheus moniker, I got banned for no damn reason. I can't be arsed repeating everything I wrote down initially so I'll just say three things. Take it or leave it, I don't care 1. BBN isn't close to being the most successful series globally. I cited and outlined various reasons in my post now deleted, and I don't have the time or energy to type it all out again. 2. BBN and BBUK use the exact some format. BBUK just handle it better and make it more engaging. Plus housemate selection in BBUK is very impressive. Every cast member in BBUK is usually interesting and fun in his/her own way, unlike BBN that must have at least 8-10 delawoods. 3. I've actually watched numerous BBUS and BBCAN seasons so I don't know what that last bit in your post was about. 1 Like |

elyte89: FIFA had already voted previously to expand the number of participating countries from 32 to 48 starting from the 2026 World Cup in North America and this was done before the Qatar 2022 World Cup even began. Morocco's success has nothing to do with the increased slots. 3 Likes |
Politics / Where Did We Go Wrong? by Vic2Ree(m): 8:11am On Dec 08, 2022 |
Let's reason 2gather! This situation goes beyond *APC, PDP or any political party* Listen to Prof. Wole Soyinka as he says : *'WHERE DID WE GO WRONG?* *WAKE UP NIGERIA YOUTHS!'~~~* "Awolowo was *37* years, Akintola *36,* Ahmadu Bello *36,* Balewa *34,* Okotie-Eboh *27* and Enahoro *27* And they led the struggle for Nigeria Independence after the death of Macaulay. Only Zik was *42* at the time! In *1966,* the first military coup was led by Nzeogwu who was *29* years and countered by M. Mohammed *28,* T. Danjuma *28,* I. Babangida *25,* J. Garba *23,* Sani Abacha *23,* & Yar'adua *23,* And brought into power Y. Gowon *32,* Ojukwu *33,* Obasanjo *29*, And Buhari *24!* Most of the military governors who governed the states under the successive military regimes were under *30* years. Also, the brief democratic dispensation which interjected the military interregnums also saw some Senators and members of the House of Representatives, in particular, populated by persons under *30!* Under *30's* were also not in short supply with appointments - we have examples of MT Mbu who became Nigeria's Foreign Affairs Minister at *23*, Pat Utomi who became a Federal Adviser at *27* And so on and so forth! NOW: Why is it that almost all this age bracket is today still *sleeping in 3-seater chairs* in their parents homes? Why is it that this age bracket is today still collecting *pocket money* from their parents? Why is it that this age bracket is today still writing *JAMB?* Why is it that this age bracket today still *sagg* their trousers? Why is it that this age bracket is today still *searching for jobs* and not yet *married?* Why is it that this age bracket is today no longer qualified to even be *leaders of youth wings* of political parties? Why is it that this age bracket is today so *docile?* Why is this age bracket today incapable of *feeding* itself? Why is it that this age bracket is today barred from even aspiring to *certain political offices?* Why is it that this age bracket is today *incapacitated, unwilling, unable and incapable* of asking questions? From *Prof Wole Soyinka.* This is real Food for Thought! *FORWARDED AS RECEIVED.* Copied from Whatsapp |

The reason why Mr Max, despite refusing to address posts exposing his illiteracy, keeps insisting that his questions still have any legitimacy after being repeatedly ripped to tiny shreds on this thread is because he doesn't want to fall the hand of his Jehovah witness sponsors and his fellow religionists in public on the internet 4 Likes 1 Share |

jamesid29:I get your point but you seem to be ignoring the fact that not all atheists are part of academia. Most people who disbelieve in god(s) don't have any knowledge of philosophy or care to have said knowledge. At the end of the day, I think our perspectives are ultimately subjective and only you can understand your own beliefs |

jamesid29:Very interesting. Do you believe in a god, or you know there is a god. Also please provide a description of this god. Thanks |
Religion / Re: Why I Believe Atheists Are Not Good People by Vic2Ree(m): 6:28am On Oct 29, 2021 |
jamesid29:Hmmm. In most cases, this proposition is a response to the theist claim that god(s) exist. At least, speaking for myself, my active disbelief in god is as a result of lack of evidence for god(s) as described by multiple religions. As a result of this lack of evidence, I choose to withhold belief. So I don't see how I could be making any claims myself but please enlighten me. Edited |

LilMissFavvy:Madam calm down joor.. First of all, have you heard of the generalization fallacy? So because your friend who's an atheist happened to be a cultist, that means EVERY atheist is a potential cultist, abi. Can you hear how silly you sound? Did you do logic in your university or you cheated your way through the course? Can you connect these two statements logically? * an old friend who claimed to be an atheist, is a cultist and * It is same with majority of atheists Where is your evidence for the second claim? How have you arrived at this conclusion? Please retract this foolish accusation and apologize appropriately. If you keep up with this, you'll only end up disgracing yourself 2 Likes |
Religion / Re: I Am Leaving Christianity :-) by Vic2Ree(m): 10:26am On Oct 27, 2021 |
LilMissFavvy:LoL. This is interesting. Can you provide evidence for this claim? A good percentage you say? What's the percentage like? Can you give us the statistics and how you arrived at this information? Moreover, I'm personally acquainted with many Christians who are part of various fraternities. So in light of this, what was the motive behind this accusation if not a deliberate attempt to smear atheists for something that is common with most people irrespective of their base religious and/or philosophical inclinations? 6 Likes |

Why do most BBN fans cringe when Ozo is trying to articulate his position in a proper manner to get his point accross? Funny how some people expose their inherent illiteracy when criticizing others. |
