Good attempt, I'll give her that but I know a couple of my white friends that throw it down in the kitchen when it comes to African dishes but don't make a fuss about. Go read that Bible passage well pls.It took years before Samuel was sent by God to admonish king Saul not under two months. Are you telling me that when patience visited, that God has not been seeing our plight? not only that according to him God spoke to him that day and he assured Jonathan that God has delivered the seat to him come 2015.Ask yourself how come the holy spirit spoke through him to convey another message differently from the one God said to him earlier?
Uhmmm... You ought to have told us that you're God's personal assistant. How do you know his thoughts and ways? So you're tellling me he can't change his mind? Let's assume God never told this man anything, doesn't any of the message hit home? Are you Nigerians that comfortable with failure? Like aren't you gigs ever tired of livin in the Stone Age? Don't you want change?

not when the so called man of God contradicts himself, have not seen any true man of God who did that. You talked about Elijah but he never did contradict himself.
It's not about contradicting . Saul was a good boy gone bad. Samuel was for him, and later against him. Change is the only constant thing in life, please

In fact, screw all this "Man of God" talk. I'm just devastated and saddened by the rational of some Nigerians. It is just crazy how people are comfortable with being midgets and mediocres. The level at which people sheepishly vote for invalid, outdated, lawless, selfish, callous, and crazy( yes, crazy!) people, is just so embarrassing to me! People are satisfied with voting men of dishonor into power. Personally, I believe the two candidates are not fit for office, they are not deserving! They are two old and witty men, who I am not particularly satisfied with. President Jonathan has been a failure, and I wonder how people were able to stand and watch him destroy Nigeria( I can smell the decay all they way to my room in the western part of the world). Bihari on the other hand, dude reeks of an evil spirit I can't place my hands on. I'm cery sad for my country. It's a shame that even here on the forum, it's like people are lost, some barely know what it feels like to be in a county where the citizens have access to their rights( electricity, freedom of speech, etc). A lot of people do not even know what the constitution is ( gosh). It's heart breaking when my people lambast each other over "men" that don't give a two flying sh*t about them. Why slay each each other and tear each other down? If you wanna die, why not die for your people? Why not die for a good cause? Why die for one man? Or in this case, 2 men? When will Nigerians wake up? The Giant of Africa has become a Dwarf of Africa. Nigerians are living off past glory, but a lot of people are in denial. It's funny how we care about things that make no sense. We care more about living the life of a celebrity, and concerning ourselves with the affair of Kim Karsashian and emulate nonsense from the west. A lot of young people have no sense of direction. Nobody iseful to emulate. Very sad!! sad

You are only right by half sir, all the prophets you mentioned did not deliver God's messages to their kings through proxy but went straight to the palaces to deliver God's message to the rulers even at the risk of their lives.

His statements that day are not messages from God to GEJ but campaign messages like the one delivered by Lai Mohammed or Pa Oyegun or Pa Buhari himself. Fr Mbaka has not said anything different from what all civil rights activists, opposition parties and some of us on this forum hv said but to now add that it was from Holy Spirit to Jonathan is what is wrong.

Even before OBJ published his celebrated letter, he made an attempt to discuss it with the president in private.
Ahem! I'm a 22 year old patriotic female...
Now, times have changed. I'm sure you do know that. Anyone can no longer have an audience with the first citizen of a country. There are protocols. And why the fussing? He didn't particularly mention Buari, he clearly stated that there needs to be "change".

Another error of yours. How are you sure this man said all he did based on sentiments? Even if he had, why can't you go through all he had said and think about it like a mature person, and see if he makes sense ?

Maybe you should go read your Bible again. The OT prophets you listed were mainly Jewish prophets. We are christians and we follow the precepts of our Lord Jesus Christ. Do you remember what Jesus said when He was asked if His followers should pay tax to Ceaser? That should be the guide for all christian clergy, my friend.
Mr. Man,
Jesus didn't come to Change the law... He simply readjusted. Like a review. Now what has giving to Ceaser got to do with this? What you just stated is not applicable to this scenario. In this case, we remain God's people, and nothing changes the fact that God still uses people or situations to set his people straight. Stop being sentimental , don't let it cloud your judgment, Biko!

I'm not a Catholic. I am not a pastor worshipper, but I try to stay up to date with my bible . Why are people condemning this priest? Why are people so against his participation in the political brouhahaha? Last time I checked, Samuel was so involved with Saul and David. Wasn't that politics? Wasn't Elijah an active critic of King Ahab? Wasn't that politics. There are other prophets the Bible associate with politics. The prophetess, Deborah cannot be left out, she also fought for Israel...so why criticise him? Is serving God restricted to Sunday Services alone, or Church issues? Aren't we as a nation, God's people? How I wish some Nigerians would stop being so marginal and ignorant!
