igbogolo:The same Lagos that accords itself the "Centre Of Excellence". |
Status:First of all, according to the international convention rules, you are not eligible to apply for a visa or for admission to any international institute from a country that you are not legally residing in. And to answer your question directly, YES, they will verify your residence status as this is the basic requirement for eligibility. You might have to go to Nigeria to apply for it, that is, if they have not already known that you have once been in the States, and in that case, your Immigration status in the United States will then be required. |
tayoTFC:What airline is it that allows you to make a free booking without payment in full, and yet provide the documentation to aid your visa application? |
babsharon:Wrong, totally wrong: Travel Itinerary (or Flight Ticket if you like) is not a requirement for visa application, get it right |
moonraker:Old Boy, you think say na so so travel man dey travel? Haba, person body no be firewood na, man need to do a bit of romance. But, i'm actually impressed at the speed with which people respond in this section; such speed that now makes me consider travel section as boring, Romance section should be the fastest moving of all |
annawhite:Oh yes, i can see you're very intelligent. But i don't think it is supposed to take this much of your overwhelming intelligence to know my gender. |
Tosinville:Wrong, not "one Nigerian man", but majority of Nigerian men do use the phrase I LOVE YOU when negotiating an affair with a lady stranger. |
annawhite:But couldn't you have done better by being constructive rather than allowing your penurious circumstance to display in your post? I would expect you know better than digging men's pockets for gold coins. |
TheCongo: TheCongo:Enough of the promises, just save it and make the post or quit TheCongo:I still don't see how this matter is connected with religion |
babsharon:What has flight got to do with document? Please, explain. |
Such a development would not get to the level of marriage before finding out who my spouse was. But that doesn't really mean relationship desolved |
Vicjustice. OK. did he dump you?
There's no where in my post that suggests that i'm a man-lover, or, are you?By the way, does my post make you feel guilty? ![]() |
The most silly thing to do in a relationship negotiation chat-up or conversation is saying "I LOVE YOU" to a lady that you barely know anything about. But unfortunately, this is the behaviour of many Nigerian men; they say I LOVE YOU to women who they feel attracted to as if saying I LOVE YOU is a way to express their admiration or desire. I expect most men that would respond to this to deny ever saying i love you to a girl that they barely know, but i trust that the ladies here will confirm that they have been told I LOVE YOU several times by different men who knew nothing about them: Yes, i acknowledge the fact that the majority of these men who abuse the phrase I LOVE YOU would rather not say it face to face with the girls, but the story is different once they manage to lay hold of the girls' email address or phone numbers; then, they can easily add the I LOVE YOU phrase at the end of a text message or email |
tope21:If you can't get the travel document, then you can't go there |
Pandorasbox:I'm actually considering sending someone to meet you for assessment, but he seems to be a bit busy for now. Do you live anywhere close to Ikeja? |
tejutaiwoh:Do you also need the document to be endorsed with official stamp of authenticity? |
Pandorasbox:Where do you live in, i mean in what state? |

You can actually get away with the discrepancies in the Date Of Births, see my explanation at: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria?topic=127964.msg9063180#msg9063180 But doing as i instructed in the link would put you into more troubles because it will become clear that the other documents (including your Marriage Certificate) were forged; so, how would you explain that? This is the situation. The data with which you had applied for the failed US visa and had given your biometric details has been integrated into their computer system for life, and this will forever be known as your identity and nothing will ever change that. It will not be wise to make any amendment to the record that they already have for you because, any attempt to correct it will get you banned from the states for life. The only thing you can do now is to maintain your recorded data otherwise, you may have to forget about the States for good. |
bandiejay:How can they buy A property in the United States when they are not allowed to enter into it? Besides, not everyone is eligible to buy a property in a country that they don't have the legality to visit or reside in. How you dey, my G? ![]() |
Pandorasbox:It would be a thing of incapability to imitate a foreign accent at an adult age; if you weren't raised up in any of these countries, it would be near impossible to speak in their accent even if you live among them, those who imitate foreign accents at adult ages actually sound ridiculous in the ears of the the people whose accent they try to mimic. Hear the guy in this video trying to mimic American ghetto accent: to the Nigerians, he is a waoh, but to the Americans, he sounds ridiculous [flash=610,380] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFYlwYbXAd4[/flash] |
Pandorasbox:You might indeed have an ideal good voice, but accent also matters. What accent have you got in oral English? I have someone who may need a Nigerian female with any of these (natural) accents; British, Irish, American, Canadian, Australian or N. Zealand for video (not television) advert. |
damola1:First of all, know that your visa details is in their system, so in the event that you lost a passport that bears a visa, you need to report it to the police or appropriate authority to get the report, and then you make an application for a replacement; the embassy will have to cancel the visa on the lost passport, and if they deem you still merit the visa, it may be reissued with a different visa number or code since the previous one had be cancelled. In most cases, you may need to make a fresh application, submitting the same documents as you submitted before, howbeit with updated details and information: and you will be required to pay the visa fee. But be certain that a visa re-issuance is not guarantee; you may be refused the visa especially when there is a change of circumstance or the Embassy observe something that they fail to observe previously. But if you lost your passport with the visa whilst abroad, you need to go to the police or the appropriate authority and get a report, and the immigration authority may issue an endorsement to this effect, you might be required to attend the Nigerian consular to get a new Passport or Emergency Travel Certificate in order to get endorsement from the Immigration that you're legally in the country: The Emergency Travel Certificate would then be the document to take you back to Nigeria in due time. |
topsnet:I am not justwise, though, Justwise is more or less a comrade, but i'm not he. |

Dear noble_gas1 That information from the Delta website is only just on papers, but it is not at all the procedure. It used to be Visa free for South African passport holders to travel to these countries including the Schengen territories and even the UK, but now, South Africans have exceeded their quota, and many are seeking asylum here and there; therefore, they are now required to obtain visas prior to arrival except for the very elite South Africans who are able to prove their social obligations and financial stance both to the Airline managements and to the Immigration Officers in the destination country. Know that 9 in 10 South Africans who travel to these mentioned countries on visa waiver are being stopped at the airport and deported at the expense of the Airline carriers and this development had long ago compelled airline companies to refuse to allow South African citizens to board their planes without visas. Now, an ordinary South African citizen is required to have a visa to travel to every EU state and other advanced countries as no Airline wants to allow them board without, and even if they manage to find their way into Europe airport, the chance that they will be stopped by immigration officers and deported is 90% So, you really do think that any South African citizen, irrespective of his/her calibre is entitled to the visa waiver travel to Europe because s/he holds an SA passport? That would be naive. Watch the UK Border Force and the Irish Immigration documentaries and verify that on airport arrival, (in the past,) most South African passport holders (without visa) are being kept in the (so called) Holding Room for up to 23 hours while the Immigration Officers do series of phone calls and verifications before eventually deporting them, where-as, a Nigerian visa holder is allowed into the country with relative ease. Now, no Airline Company wants to allow them on-board without a visa |
Go to ireland or newzeland, its visa free to sa passport.
Where did you get this wrong info from? A South African passport requires as well visa as does a Nigerian passport. |
topsnet:It is ok to use this format, but i really don't see the need for the inclusion of your education details. Believe me, too many unnecessary details may be dangerous, you don't want to put your sister in the position of trying to answer many complicated questions about you, do you? Now, take my advice, when it comes to writing or making statements which are likely going to call for a trial or an interview, it is wise to always remember this word, KISS: that is, Keep It Short & Simple because, the more details you give, the more rooms you create for questions and the more danger you put yourself into: a little error from her would cost you dearly Babefishing Dating, the ideal Nigerian dating site.
