You seem to be a silent sufferer, and i think you and your wife are not having a good enough communication or else, she (no matter her age) should have understood you well enough. Why don't you talk this thing with her, let her know your concerns, your displeasures and opinions about things regarding these issues. |
Let's not be selfish in our judgements on this matter; you need to realise that sometimes, you happen to be the wrong person for your partner, it's not always your partner that is the wrong person for you. |
Feichi:And you really expect any one to be dum enough to contact a non-entity like yourself? But are you so disabled that you can't make use of this free opportunity to go to Canada yourself? |
Lol, checkout Justwise fighting against himself. But seriously, who is this failed individual (Justwise.) that has resorted to this impersonation? Well, if no one has yet reported him, i just did that with this comment: "This user, Justwise. is an impersonator pretending to be the known Justwise with apparent scamming intention" |
Why did you generalise this matter as if it's an Igbo thing? You're smart enough to know that whatever crime that the man committed, someone from your own tribe could do the same: Besides, there's no evidence to indicate that the man in questing is even an Igbo man |
kennybuda:How long would Nigerians continue to be ignorant of the meaning of the word Race and keeping assuming that race has only got something to do with colours? Are the Russians, the English, the Greeks, the Germans and the Spanish same race because they're all white? Definitely NOT. Ask those who know about Anthropology and they will advise you that the Oduduwa descendants are a race of their own; so, the Igbos and the Yoruba are not the same race according to the secondary definition of RACE. |
kennybuda:Here you're ranting about people hating and having prejudice against the Igbos where as the majority of the racist or trabilistic comments are apparently from the Igbos themselves: But why are the Igbos often seeking recognition as if they're a forgotten race, and yet so quick in claiming victims of discrimination? This thread creator and whoever s/he is that was quoted in the original post obviously had ethnicism intentions to favour the Igbos and yet the same people are the ones making thenselves look victims of discrimination. I wonder why the Igbos often like to put on a show as if they're in a competition with the Yorubas: there are obviously differences in the essential spirits of these two Nigerian ethnic heavyweights: while the Igbos would complain of racism or tribalism at every little provocation by any of Nigerian ethnic groups, you'd hardly hear a Yoruba person conceding to being a victim of discrimination by other Nigerians. Also, the Igbos would brag and boast of self achievement even if that means exaggeration, but you hardly hear that from the Yorubas. Honestly, with neither bias nor fear or favour, i think the Igbos should fully realise that they are a heavyweight like the Hausas and the Yorubas and stop crying like a subdued ethnic minority. Note: Like i said earlier, i'm neither Yoruba nor Igbo |
hercules07:You're actually correct, the plane was still on the ground, but why then did that guy (at 0:20 soconds) say: "this plane will go down normal"? |
Orikinla:The Igbos are remarkably more in numbers in places like China, Greece, Spain, Portugal, (and arguably) Italy and Turkey, and as well in other countries where professional jobs are hardly utilised, but talking about countries that are known for education, countries where professional occupations count; there is no ethnic group in Nigeria that can compete with the Yorubas. So, whoever made that claim, let him come out and beat me to this challenge, and i'll prove him wrong. Note: I'm neither Igbo nor Yoruba, so, i'm not being partial in my claims. Peace ![]() |
Alright, send it here: ********* |
midep:Honestly, (considering the ratio of the Pound Sterling to the Naira,) the N1.3 million in your account is not the most excellent amount to represent the savings of a person who is applying for a 6 months visiting visa to the UK, but nevertheless, you should have been issued the visa on the basis of your monthly salary which isn't bad in Nigerian standard: and the Visa Officer should have taken into account that there's no normal person who would abandon such job in Nigeria and then become an illegal resident in the UK. Now, i won't encourage you to apply for the visa straight away, you might need to build your savings as this is the issue raised: Do not borrow money for this course because, if you do, they will observe it (as money lodgement) and consider you a desperately dishonest applicant and a threat to immigration, and that may automatically be disqualifying you in future applications. That's not what you want. Make good savings with traceable history keeping track with your wages and pay-advise, and then apply again in due time. |
omega25red:Actually, the plane was already airborne. If i were the Pilot, i would return to the airport if i have such disruptive and angry passangers in mid air, who knows, they could cause a close circuit riot and endanger the plane |

pendo89:I'm impressed, but your translation isn't accurate, the phrase is not "I love you baby" rather, I LOVE YOU MY BABY. Lol, you actually wasted the thread and won a NOTHING. ![]() |

Nigerian accent, sexy in regard to what language? I disagree with this: First of all, does one need to be reminded that different parts of Nigeria have different accents? One may arguably claim that Nigerian accent is "sexy" in their native languages, but in spoken English, i'm sorry to say that Nigerian accents are not appealling: Most Nigerian are not even understood by foreigners (especially when speaking English to them on phone). |

ove:Are you sure that the airline policy allows that? I'm just concerned with the fact that every airline that i'm familiar with does not allow that. But what about the name on the ticket, or is it like an ordinary bus ticket? |
esko:Thank you for being an admirer of my articles. Here's the link to it: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-94557.0.html |
pheonix83:The prospect of employment is not something that anyone can guarantee, but if you want to know about the opportunities in these countries. then it is worthwhile to know that Finland, Sweden and Norway are three of the best countries in the whole world, not even the popular UK nor the US is a match to any of these countries in regards to the standard of living. |
kweku8888:If i readily have all these that you listed, then for what reason do i need a middle-man? |
Hi all, i want you to know that the opportunity is still on, we have gotten 4 people so far, and we need 96 more people: so hurry! |
N101:Personally, i do not see anything wrong with the video nor the commentary itself, everything he said is correct if one has to be honest. And hey, i don't think the title of this thread is inappropriate, you seem to be ignoring the question mark, or doesn't it mean something to you? |
jay bee:This is very correct, i am an Airfrance customer or a fan (depending on how you look at at), and each time i'm travelling Dublin-Lagos, Lagos-Dublin, we usually get to board the planes by bus. |
