@vickilafab, wot i do is to vary his food.If i feel i ve given too much friso, i tk a break for abt 1wk, mayb gv custard, then i resume again. i try nt to let him get used to a particular food.U may tk a break frm d cereal, gv pap and smthg else for some days, then cm bk to friso. there re a wide variety of baby food out there

Thanks alot. I was trying to introduce one food per time. Den planned to start interchangin once I knew d ones he liked .. I was told dat its because I did EBF dats y he's nt finding it easy

Good. That's how they start...little by little.... Keep trying. He might also want to play while eatn too. My son sometimes won't eat if he's restricted but would do if he's free. There were days he won't eat if his mum try feeding him with another spoon/bowl until she changes to his desired one. Also, maybe your hubby should try feeding him sometimes....if he has a fav toy, give him while attempting to feed him. Make feeding be fun to him - in any way possible.
These are some things we do when my son starts his "funny act".

Now is a good time for both. EDD scans are more accurate in early preg say from 8wks cos I did at 6wks & only saw d sac. ANC wil do a blood work on u so as to b able to monitor u properly. I started ANC immediately d home PT showed positive & dt was good because I had malaria so d gynae gave paludrine alongside d routine drugs. U can start folic acid b4 u register. Happy 9 months!

I gave him d cereal wtout milk but added milk to his pap, didn't use sugar though because I tasted it & it was sweet enough.

Great suggestion @ d dropper for d meds & givin it to him inbetween feeds

He eats other foods but very little quantity. Few days ago, he ate semo and ogbono from my plate. He also likes drinking water.

D same thing happened to me last month on my wedding, d decorator nd make up artist came 30 mins to my wedding,I cried imagine on my D Day. Its a long story,pple r terrible!

C me dat was rejoicing dat my LO happily accepted cereal.. He has refused to take it for 2 days now I force-fed him amidst plenty cries and serious struggling. Na me & DH hold am o bt hin energy pass our own. I felt so sorry for him after last night's ordeal-he actually hurt his lip from biting down to avoid eating but took d brreast milk o! Been giving d frisogold rice cereal and started d pap last night wt frisolac gold milk.

I really don't know what's up because I took him for a general check at d hospital on Friday and d paed said he's doing well, did a malaria test & I was shocked when it showed + cos he's mostly covered with net & sleeps under net besides he wasn't running temp or d likes. Was given drugs- antimalarial, VitC, PCM & Amoxicillin wch is also a struggle for him to take.

On Saturday, he's stooled 2x wch was strange. Yst, he stooled once but wen he farts, little poo comes out.

I'm wondering if it's d cereal or d drug he's reacting to

Am 12weeks old and did a scan just resently, realising that my baby's head is not pointing to the pelvic made me scared. The head is rather pointing to my left hand side and the leg to my right. Pls I want to know if it will later change position or remain like that.

Baby still has lots of space to play in so wil keep changing positions. Some babies change position just b4 delivery sef. What u described is a transverse lie. Don't worry! Mine was breech (head up) @ 15wks- looked really cute suckin his finger in-utero & he turned at some point and I had a vagginal delivery.

@my testimony, I just realised shopping online is more easier so I ve started doing it in bit. I ve been shuttling jumia and konga. Just ordered for a fisher price rocker on jumia and I can't wait for them to deliver it.

What if one is to choose between a rocker n a bouncer? Which is more useful. I already got a graco set containing stroller n car seat. Also got a bouncer online but dey delivered a wrong color so tinking of returning it n exchanging it for a rocker.

Hello great mums in the house. I have been a silent follower of this thread and I can conviniently say I have benefitted immensely from all your advice and contributions. Am almost seven months pregnant and its been a very easy ride for me (this is my first). I need ur advise on whether to buy a stroller or a baby rocker instead. Am trying to cut cost, hence I need ur valuable advises on which one is more useful for the baby. Thanks! Congrats to all new mums.

I prefer the rocker- it's multipurpose. It soothes baby wt it's vibrations, baby can sleep in it for naptime, it's a mini play zone, it can b adjusted to sitting/lying position or u can just strap baby dere wen u need to do other things.

In my opinion, stroller is mainly for moms dat do lots of walking in a fancy environment say a quiet estate. It would look somehow to b pushing a stroller at idumota mkt (assuming dat you live in lag) not to think of struggling with bad roads etc.

Moms wey get experience with two of dem, oya mk una contribute oooo

tnx. Since i stopped using d AC, my boy has not bin sleeping well at night. It takes long b4 i can make him sleep. He makes plenty noise while sleeping n wakes up again in less dan 1 hr.

U c.. abeg, d boy sabi beta thing. Just follow my suggestions and he'll be fine. He's a human being afterall.. no one can sleep comfortably inside heat o

moderately heaped is OK. My wife uses either tablespoon or my LO's feeding spoon. When she uses LO's spoon, instinct is the key as per d ratio of feed to water & your LO determines how much you prep for him & his preferred texture (thick/light). @8/9mths, my son wouldn't b satisfied till he gets about 14spoons per meal & prefers it moderately thick....so we didn't later stick with d prep table.

Congratulations! Yes, u can use the same colours for both. U can use just both colours because they are bright or tone them down with silver-gray or orange if u like it loud. I'm here to help with any other questions u may have.

Congratulations! Both colour palettes are sweet. But I prefer d turquoise combo. For a bolder look, use d purple combo. I'd post a few pics to guide u- my network has been bad.

I've started my LO on d frisogold rice cereal & he ate it well gave him little cool water after the meal too. Want to observe him for few days before starting him on pap alongside.

I'd like to ask a question cos I read d preparations carefully and saw that d cereal is to b measured with tablespoon. Is it heaped or level u normally use? I used moderately heaped tablespoon. Can I use d scoop spoon found in d frisolac gold milk? If yes, what quantity? Tnks much

d cheaper IV really doesn't look so bad & there are lots of different designs. I usually suggest to my clients (if insisting on IV wt low budget) to distribute the cheaper one to all and sundry then buy few pieces of the more expensive ones for exclusive invitees. u can also create a free wedding website and invite people with that.

d Chinese fan is a great idea and it's quite cheap too. costs btwn #100-300 per piece. Comes in various colours & patterns. u can put ur pictures and wedding date etc on it. a good printer can help u wt dat. see d pic I attached as a reference.
