Igbos have been in the news this past week for both the good reasons and the bad reasons.

It is unfortunate that the bad reasons are more popular than the good reasons. I am just tired about the way we carry ourselves outside without strong personality inbuilt in us.

I am really disappointed at the way we engage in petty arguments with people who in the next few years will beg to be our friends. We engage in insults, cursing and other low-moral conversation with other tribes.

We should be the ones who will always think and find ways to solve our problems. We all know our history and we know where we come from. We know our genetic makeup. We know what we stand for and we know the direction where we should be headed.

Igbos wants to be in the news. Yes, you can see yourselves in the news. Are you happy now? All the tabloids are carrying you in the news. For what reason? The wrong reasons.

It is your kids that are making you proud while you adults are insulting yourselves online. Take alittle time and think for once who you really are.

Eri who had walked thousand of miles to this very place didn't walk here to argue with people. He walked to settle and make his life worthwhile. But we spend most of our times formenting trouble and looking for collaborators so that we can feel good and nice with ourselves.

Have you taken time and look at our present situation in the east? Have u thought of our present situation in the country? Do you think if you run now, you will get everything? Why run like cowards when you can fight like men? Why fight like unintelligent men you can fight intelligently. Why dominate in crude ways when you can dominate totally?

The way we are going, even the silliest countries will not recognise us because with the high amount of intelligence, we still take stupid actions. We always act with impulse. We act as if something is really biting us inside.

We have job to do in the east. Look at your brother's face and see who you really care about. Not more than the next 70years, you all will probably die and leave this world for your kids. But you might have ended up destroying for them and they won't see anything to do with the world.

Igbos have a good chance in succeeding in this planet and make the whole continent stand still. But we make silly comments and decisions which doesn't make us grow but sends us back to stone-age.

I don't believe Nigeria can help us. I don't believe the president is our saviour. I don't believe senators can relay our problems to the right authorities. I don't believe in our ministers. I don't even believe in our governors.

The people I believe in is us, the common people who reason with our heads and make the right strategies and decisions.

Our kids will curse us if we do nothing about the present economic state of the east. They will disrespect us when we grow old. When they will be insulted outside, they will come home and rain insults on us and our parents. Because we're not good parents.

Let's come together, no matter how small you can donate. Either by action, motives, strategy or otherwise, we should stop the Lagos and Nigeria dependency and work for our own economic self-reliance. This is the future and that's what we should be chasing.

For real i wouldn't care about the mistake but you all know how this same group of people pick on every mistake made by PMB... this and what happened at the PDP meeting just showed no one is above mistakes... Even the "Almighty" American ain't excluded

Yes, you're very correct.

Everyone is not above mistake and we all at one point or the other have made mistakes.

Knowing fully well that you're just quoting what you already know. Do you think the statement above is semantically incorrect?

If something did not follow the popular line of thought, it doesn't make it incorrect.

The popular saying is "deck", but what will u say if they intended to say "desk".

You can't fail him if he is semantically correct.

This is a commendable feat from my brothers, they have this winning mentality in them and they do anything to win. Even with the backdrop of events they have passed through, they still find ways of forging ahead and make memorable achievements.

Like I said in the former thread, I met a lady in the competition and she was just raining praises on these anambra kids because of their winning mentality and never say die spirit.

It is important we keep it up and everything in our hands to remain on top. Soon our teachers will be exported to foreign lands as finished products.

It's one thing to have a newspaper coy,it's another to fill it with required contents.
I saw a newspaper in the park called ' 'SouthEast Voice'. Can you believe that from the beginning to the end, all the captions were about crimes, where they dug those stories from, I don't know.
To me, that was worse than no media at all. I expect uba to be wiser tho.

Some people are just stupid. Why open a newspaper company just to write about bad news in the east alone. This is stupid.

My brothers, though this thread is an anambra state thread, I will love to digress alittle to tell my biafran agitators something.

I pray for a country of our own and I don't have any problem with biafra. But there's a very big problem with the agitation.

We think the UN is stupid and have not thought about the Biafran struggle, but I say that's not true. The eastern region have not shown in anyway their economic independence. Our region still looks underdeveloped in their standard. We don't have good roads, we don't have money in our states. Our bulk of investments are not in the region. Nothing catchy in the eyes of UN to say this people are ready to secede. We have not even succeeded in bringing our people home.

UN will not like a situation where they will start "dashing" money to another 3rd world country like Biafra. Yes, Biafra will be at first, a third world country because from the look of things, we don't have the self-sufficient things to make us stand.

What will make you talk and they will listen is economic strength, you have to make them want to lose something. Like they say, money gives you mouth in the general public. And if you don't have money your ideas are as crude as your pocket.

Open up the region to the world first. Let the region be able to boast of billions of dollars worth of investments and human assets. It will be very easy to get our independence. No one will want another Haiti in the world again.

To be sincere with yourself, if igbos are to leave peacefully, many people will still live "abroad" according to the economic situation in the east.

The states carrying the east are anambra, abia and ebonyi. I say ebonyi because they're into agric and they should be able to fend for themselves atleast.

If we don't open the region and make business partnership with big companies abroad. We will still be stuck in this situation.

It is only possible in Anambra state.

A competition was held today sponsored by my company, the winner was another anambra boy who beat another anambra girl.

The competition was too funny. They fought tooth and nail in the quiz competition.

These anambra guys are just too much.

The third was an Edo girl. That girl too tried.

Thumbs up! I was just so happy today seeing my siblings digging it out.

If you spend time making noise and doing nothing in the east. you will end up radicalising everyone and the whole east will be filled with hatred and detest of one another. If we sit down and reason the best ways of getting this freedom we all need, they wont listen, they will stick to their own guns.

Aggression doesnt win battle, but tactical approach will make beat your enemies hands-down.

If you ask Ndigbo the better ways we can achieve this freedom, you'll see people with wonderful ideas than what is happening now. we will never alaigbo what it was in the war time, biko

Hahahahahahaahaha!

See them! Divided in their own interest. When you should think, you spend thesame time talking. Thinking and talking are different.

Igbos need to be wise and wisdom seems not to come by talking too much but by reasoning and strategising the best way to go.

I can tell most you that, you're not thinking and that's why most of us are in this mess.

Take it or leave it, if you do not strategize before taking actions, you're bound to fail.
