noblefada: Pls I would rather not, because many xtians will not understand or accept it, not to talk of unbelievers. But truth is the explanation for that is scattered throughout the bible. God gave man a choice, to either live by the flesh or live by the Spirit. Really I don't want to go deeper.It's better to share. Lot of truths are scattered throughout the Bible but sometimes it takes someone showing us where to find it or at times to explain these truths to us. 1 Like |

noblefada: It was figurative for choices, to even make more easier to understand, the term of life or knowledge of good and evil were not quoted in the NT, the only mention of the tree of life was in the book of Revelation and we all know it was talking about Christ. In fact most scholars agree that the one fruit it definitely could not have been was the apple. Apples were not likely to have grown in the Bible lands in Old Testament times. However, apples that were cultivated by Egyptians, and the Romans at the time of Christ had more than twenty varieties. |

At the early stages of life, boys are closer to their mums and girls to their dads. But later in life, lets say in the early twenties, girls become closer to their mum and vice versa. I'm just speaking from what I've noticed overtime. I used to prefer my dad when I was younger but now I love them the same but I'm more drawn towards my mum emotionally... I think this is cause we get to a stage where the challenges we face are more difficult and gender defined. So then we subconsciously draw towards our same gendered parents as we jump through the hurdles of life. Most time because they are the best role models we've got.. |
