Is covid vaccine compulsory for jamb candidates

Let me use this opportunity to wish my fellow Nairalanders and Nigerians a happy new year. May God bless us all.

So, this post may be a little bit lengthy. There's no sugar coating, neither is it fiction.

In 2021, yesterday was the first day I went to Church for a full service. In as much as I as I don't go to Church regularly, I have a personal relationship with God. As the last day of the month, I promised myself that I must go to the Altar of the Almighty and Glorify his Name.

I am a Catholic, but I wanted to attend another Church for reasons best known to me. So I choose one of the popular Churches in Naija. I freshened up, prepared myself and went to the Church 1 hour before time (I have a phobia for late coming). As one of the first persons in the Church, I had the liberty to choose a spot I like. Since it's cross over, and for the sake of crashing, I chose a spot that'll meet my many demands.

People started trooping in and wetin my eyes see ehn, hmm. Na young, classy, rich and foreigners de come this Church oh! I immediately noticed that, what you wear to the Church doesn't really matter.

I was still admiring the people coming in, especially the ladies when two girls came in. One of them wore a really tight dress and oh, she wasn't wearing bra and you know bruv, her nip**les were showing. Haa! My Mr Niger D immediately caught signal from in between my laps were it was resting peacefully. I had to calm it down and reassure myself that I came to Church, to rededicate my life to God.

Also, by wearing my senator attire which I invested 15k to sew. I thought that my fashion game would be top notch. But 15 minutes after people started coming in, I realized that I fvcked up! Because, e be like say na only me wear that kind cloth.

At this point, the Church was still welcoming people and also projecting beautiful Gospel renditions on the screens. One woman with her family came and sat close to me. More people came in. Another woman, immediately she met the entrance of the Church busted some amazing dance moves. Omo! "Today na today" I concluded in my mind.

I was still trying to grasp the atmospheric condition when some dude who won Big Brother; I think the African edition came in. He sat two rows in front of me. And this begs me to ask this very important question, what'sup with Nigeria celebrities wearing heavy sunshades even in places wear the really need their bear eyes to see? Even for darkness person go still carry heavy eyeglass chook for eye.

Church service started properly and I must confess that I had one of the best time in the presence of the Lord. The praise and worship was wonderful. I noticed that all the big boys, Celebrities, slay mamas etcetera were all overwhelmed in the spirit of the Lord.

The woman that sat beside me, even after having four children gave me a serious dancing assignment because, I couldn't match her dancing skills.

Lastly, I also realized that mehn, God loves all of us. Regardless of what you do, what you wear, how you choose to worship him. The main thing be say, make you hold and know him. No

And I have 3 points.

1. Yes there are those that can get to a place of repentance from their home.
But there are those that need the atmosphere the church provides and the testimony of others to get to that place of repentance.

The last day of the year is significant for every human being.

You might not attend service throughout the year but some how the last day of the year makes you want to have some form of new year resolution or change of heart and the cross over can provide the right atmosphere for that.

2. Cross-over service had become a religious activity for already converted believers. So it is simply fullfiness of righteousness.

-Your parents expect you to go for cross over service.
-Your friends are all going so you dont want to be the odd one out so you also attend.
-Youre a worker in the church so you're actually expected to be there. Whether or not you want to be.

3. Cross over prayers.
While many are of the opinion that every day is the same. I believe astronomers, astrologers, agriculturists, and those who pay attention to times and seasons j understand that no 2 days are alike.
In fact zodiac signs are a proof that your birthday goes a long way to determine your personality as different from others.
Also the very fact that we have different significant seasons of rainfall,harmattan,dry season,etc shows that different days have different significance.
So clearly those who developed the calendar, having put the different seasons into considerations determined that the new year is significant.

Hence for those who determine to pray into the new year, it is a well acceptable and good religious ritual, psychological and therapeutic exercise.

That said, no matter the category you find yourself whether you recognise the cross over or not, just understand that days have different significance and the praying into the new year is not a bad idea.
Some times the prayers are answered, some times they are not. Supposedly also determined by God's pre determination for everyone

Nurses pay are okay and they probably work everywhere, from oil companies to government establishment, you just name it. What you should be concerned with is gaining admission and finishing the course, once you can do this, then there is no limit as to what you can achieve as a nurse

Well in Uniben current the highest level of radiography is 200lvl.. they recently started radiography so it should be easy getting admission there. This info could be helpful for you tho.

Few days ago it was on the news that jamb candidates,staffs and visitors would not be allowed access to their facilities without evidence of covid 19 vaccination,I thought that vaccination is to the benefit of the receiver
Then I ask
Why should it be made compulsory
Why should their services be used as abait to make people take the vaccine
Are they aware that it may make some students drop their dream of going to the university

I also saw that they exempted underage from this policy
I ask again
Is covid a respecter of age
Of what use would it be if some are vaccinated and the rest not vaccinated?
Do they realize that some people's parents would reject such idea

I need matured advice seasoned with evidence
So this year I wrote utme and got 219 as a score due to some technical issues we encountered at the center and I was not able to write a subject out of four, so I would do better next year.
I put nursing as my prospective course and unizik as first choice.But wasn't able to process it due to some inconveniences.
I would be filling for next year jamb
Which federal University would be easier to get admission in (I'm from South East Nigeria)?and among science lab, nursing and radiography which would be best in terms of job opportunity and pay?

My wife's elder brother is visiting my house and my wife has been serving his food first before serving and bringing my good, in my own house.

I worked all through the night and was famished by the time the day broke this morning. I gave her some dough and told her to prepare me noodles and sardine, emphasizing on the fact that I was very hungry.

NOTE: Her Brother was still asleep at this time.

She prepared the meal, split it into two. Woke up and served her brother first in my guest room before coming to my room to give her hungry husband his food.

I was so mad, I ignored the food, went out to smoke a cigarette. While I was doing that it occured to me ask for advice here, because I didn't want to ask anybody I knew personally.

I still don't know whether to be mad, or to just ignore it.

I am a strong believer of common sense and respect and her actions this morning lack both! It would have take her less than 30 seconds to give me my food then go wake and serve her brother!

Is she told me she needed money for something and I put my younger sister's need over her's-no matter how tribal her's might be-i know how she'd react and the amount of making up I'd have to do.

I am trying to be very mature about this, that's why I keeping things anonymous?

Besides I'd like to know, I possibly can't be the only person who has experienced this sort of situation because they say there's nothing new under the sun. Please who has ever felt this way, I am very understanding and if something irks me, it would irk every body else too.
