Pecky2222: Use a different browser other than the one you currently use. That may just be the problem. If you haven't already, try Microsoft Edge or Explorer. |

Metabolite01: Boss please I have a question regarding this response of yours. I just got admitted to the MSc Sustainable Mining and Remediation Management @ TU Bergakademie Freiberg. However I don't have the funds to open a blocked account but I have a family friend that is a German resident who is willing to provide me with sponsorship/obligatory letter. My question now is whether German embassy will honour the letter and grant me a visa. Please I need your input. Thank you. Travel / Re: I Have A 2.2 And Can't Study In Canada, Any Remedies? by victree007(m): 12:47am On Feb 25, 2018 |
Hello bro, don't feel you you can't do MSc in Canada because you have a 2.2 in Geology. I read Geology too and made a 2.1. However, a very good friend of mine has a 2.2 still in Geology and was given admission @MUN. Now for a research based course like Geology, Canadian schools require you to have gotten a potential supervisor before you apply to their Geology programs. Once you are able to get a potential supervisor they will help you waive whatever deficiency you may have. To contact potential supervisors you have to check the faculty list of Geology programs @different schools and mail them with the following documents; Letter of Interest Transcript First Degree Certificate CV Data Page of Your Passport if you have Now your letter and email must be very and absolutely professional else you would have shot yourself on the foot. Again make sure you don't send more than three (3) inquiries to each school and make sure you clearly define your research area on your LOI and the professors you email must be people doing research in your area of interest. It is a tough job I must tell you but it is always rewarding @the end. Don't ever shortchange/limit yourself because you have a 2.2. Canada and US admit people with 2.2 but you must research schools that accept same. Making contact to potential supervisors is one of the surest ways. The beauty of it is that if they accept to supervise you, there is every tendency for them to provide funding/scholarship for you. If you know you have your own means of paying tuition, always let your potential supervisors know that because most times they will tell you they are not accepting graduate students because they don't have funding. Goodluck in your search. |

TonyDeAnalyst: Hello Tony I registered for GRE with this awesome firm in Lagos. You can use this link to reach their webpage http://www.gregmattoeflnigeria.com/toeflregistrationinnigeria/index.html They charge 50k which is cheaper than applying to ETS directly. Also they give you free study pack and give you access to study freely online with Magoosh. Again they reschedule your test freely and bear the cost of $50 which ETS charges. Personally I downloaded videos of this cool tutor "Mondays With Niel" and it helped me a lot. Ensure you read for between 2 - 4 months before writing your test o. I hope this information will be of help to you. Cheers 2 Likes |

dwilliams: If you want to school in Europe you may not necessarily need any of those tests. Most European countries will require you to provide a Language of Instruction document from your school which confirms and certifies that your tertiary education was entirely in English. So what I always do when I want to apply to a European school is to first mail them and explain Nigeria being an English speaking country and my education being conducted in English. Then I ask if it's mandatory for me to still take a language test. From their response you will know your next line of action. |

If you are experiencing same poor data speed with Glo, how are you coping? Any other alternative? I am based in Lagos.[/quote] I share the same frustration with you. last weekend wasn't funny as Glo Network became worse than normal in Lagos. I just got to Benin and the network is pretty stable here. Adenuga has to step up his game and make the network a lot stronger to compensate for their huge data |

I once took part in their interview process and it was good. 1st you need to pass a written test before the main interview will be scheduled for a later date. I would have been working with their Kano branch by now but they didn't meet up to my renumeration expectations. *Safety Tips:* Due to MMM's Suspension of withdrawal 1. Make sure you are very close to your friends and relatives who are into MMM. 2. Observe their every movement and monitor where they are going to. 3. If you see any of them going close to a River, Ocean or Stream, raise an alarm and invite the police. 4. If you see any of them talking to him or herself, alert the nearest psychiatrist hospital. 5. If any of them begin to behave angrily and break or destroy things, please notify your friends and use cow rope to tie the person Please pass it round to save lives For those saying selection was done before they even got there, there was nothing like that in my time. The process was strictly based on performance. Lastly, it was just two to three months ago that I went through their system. The written test isn't gonna be difficult for those used to Simple Maths and for the interview, be prepared to defend your CV, I'm sure you will love the experience. |
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: What Will You Do When You Missed A Call From An Interviewer? by victree007(m): 6:58am On Dec 13, 2016 |
It is always good to keep your phone close by at all times so you don't miss a call. As much as you can, call back any missed call(s) you see on your phone as you can never tell which was an interviewer's call. For those always saying "I don't pick calls whose numbers I didn't save on my phone", guess what, you are doing yourself as you can never tell when a vital call will come in. My candid advise to everyone |
