I like your sense of humour. Best losers. What a disgrace. Up Keshi, even with 11 against 10 at home.
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs South Africa: AFCON Qualifier (2 - 2) On 19th November 2014 by vigasimple(m): 7:20pm On Nov 19, 2014
Luck can take you up but Luck cannot keep you there. Keshi is not a good coach neither is his team. The SE performance in the last dozen game has been woeful.

Even if they manage to win or qualify, they are still not good enough and will be disgraced in the competition proper.

They lost an home game against congo 3-2 and barely improve since then except the fluke 2-0 away win.

Performance will catch up with you. If you must lose, do it gallantly with a performance to remember. Not bunch of nonsense

The dumb government probably didn't know our numerals are Arabic numerals… They should have replaced it with the Roman numerals dumbos!
If the numerals are already in Arabic(therefore our brethren in the North can read Arabic numerals) why then the Ajami/Arabic writing? If you think carefully, the Ajami/Arabic is a language learned through Islamic religion and we should all avoid any religion creeping into our national psyche when Nigeria is a secular state.

English, Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba is enough or maybe add some other prominent Nigerian languages but stay out of any religious connections irrespective of how strong or good is such religion otherwise Christians might be demanding a Hebrew writing.

This was exactly how we started using government money to send people to Hajj and Christians are now being sent to Jerusalem for pilgrimage. It is a complete nonsense.

madridfc:
NO: Stephen Keshi is Tactically-Clueless.
You are 100% correct.

Win or No win. It doesn't matter. It is too late even if SE qualify for AFCON.

Result matter but performance matter most. If you perform well most of the time, result will go your way majority of times.

Majority of KESHI's wins are fluke whether the AFCON win or world cup qualifications or at the world cup proper. Your opponents need to respect and fear you even if they are going to beat you.

The taste of the pudding is in the eating.

Pull up the videos of the last 10 games and see that if not for the love of being a Nigerian coach we have for KESHI, he shouldn't have been the coach long time ago. That's why Togo sacked him even when he qualified them for the world cup.

Anyone playing Mikel Obi with those ridiculous performance is not worth a SE coach.

After qualification results we should thank him for his services and get rid of him before he cause long term damage to the SE and the country football and image as a whole. We should stop being sentimental.

He has no tactical/technical knowledge of the game as a coach.

One observation. Did anyone notice how the new CBN governor is going about his job rightly or wrongly without noise or making political statement unlike FULANI Emir SANUSI.

The job of the cbn governor is to be a strong hand in the management of our fiscal policy and stop undermining the goverment he suppose to serve without first resigning. Oh I forgot, the previous governor is a born to rule.

The problem with the youths of Nigeria is that they do not understand what is their right. They have never experienced good governance .
Anybody that has travelled and lived outside this country will tell you that jonathan is doing a horrible job .
Corruption is Nigeria problem . Tackle it and everything falls into place . No amount of transformation will work without tackling corruption. We have to start holding Jonathan accountable. He has to tackle corruption . Another 4 yrs of this guy and this country will never recover from it .
You yourself may not understand Nigerian politics. All GEJ problem and that of this country are simply Religion and tribalism. The Northern political elites see Nigeria presidency as their birth right and this is where you get 'BORN TO RULE'

As far as our brethren up north are concerned, they have loaned GEJ and the south the presidency and want their power back.

Until the North are prepared to let the country rest and have proper leader, we will continue to have a weak leader like GEJ. But once the man get re-elected, then you are going to see OBJ second term in GEJ.

Nigeria is a comedy, just decide which role you want to play.
PoliticsRe: Annoying Things GEJ/PEJ Apologists Say In Their Defence by vigasimple(m): 1:22am On Nov 07, 2014
The OP is trying to make a rational argument in a comedy country.

Also, there are a lot of young and naive people on this thread otherwise they would see what obtained before GEJ and what will likely be 10 or 20 years after.

Religion and Tribalism are the two major problems confronting this country. And I dare say it starts and finish in the North West, particularly the sokoto caliphate and the born to rule.

For example, Yar Adua as good a person he may be, is not fit physically and mentally to have been the President before GEJ but because is a Northerern, a muslim and most importantly a FULANI man he was put in office as a proxy and the northern political elites control him remotely from Sokoto. The same with Tafawa Balewa and Sheu Shagari very many years before Yar Adua.

Instead of putting strong VP candidate, they choose a weak one in GEJ and by accident he became president and with all his full view to see weakness, he still a better candidate than those been paraded especially Bhuari and Atiku.

We need a genuine reform and good opposition but APC is just not anywhere near a truthful genuine opposition and by default GEJ will be re elected.

We need strong institutions and clear visionary leaders, we haven't got many at present that our brethrens in the North will allow to function because he has to be a muslim and possibly a FULANI man.

The military are still in the background overwhelming Northerners .
PoliticsRe: Tambuwal decamps to APC today - Read! - Cramjones by vigasimple(m): 1:35pm On Oct 28, 2014
The 'progressive' are just bunch of hypocrites. Tambuwal got elected as a PDP candidate as well as speaker of the house to promote the agenda of the ruling party, which is the way is done in a proper society.

Unfortunately, Tambuwal spent 4 years obstructing the party he belong only to further his political ambition.

Tambuwal is a very deceitful man and he will do the same if he ever become the governor of Sokoto state.
PoliticsRe: Former President Olusegun Obasanjo Cautions APC About Muslim-muslim Ticket by vigasimple(m): 10:47am On Oct 27, 2014
We should stop pretending that there is no problem with a Muslim/Muslim ticket because 95% of the North will never accept a Christian / Christian ticket, so, why should the Christian's fold their arms and accept a Muslim/Muslim ticket especially with Boko haram and sharia mentality.

Are there no more any good Christian candidates? and can anyone honestly say that Bhuari is better than Fashola.

So, the election as far as APC is concerned is for power to go to the north.

Tribalism and Religion is still our main major problem, otherwise a Muslim from the North should not have a problem with a Christian leader or indeed a Southern Muslim (which the North still sees as kaferies )
PoliticsRe: 2015 : APC Considers Buhari - Fashola Ticket by vigasimple(m): 2:07pm On Oct 19, 2014
The challenge for APC is that for people who are not naive politically will know that , the party is a joke trying to hoodwink the people just to gain power.

2 quick questions

1. Why Bhuari on top of the ticket and NOT Fashola ( who is younger and I dare say more smarter and intelligent than the Fulani born to rule master, Bhuari)

2. Would the North accept a Christian/Christian ticket.

APC is just a platform for the North to get their 'loaned' power back.

if APC genuinely want to win power, they should by now have a very very superior programme than PDP and they can also have a solid presidential candidate from SOUTH SOUTH.

A 10year old can see the elephant in the room APC are hoping Nigerians don't see.

The North has spent the last 4 years using Boko haram to cause mayhem in the country and make it ungovernable for GEJ and they want the South to support a man who started the incitement of religious terrorist over Nigeria.

What does a 70yrs want to offer Nigeria that he cannot encourage and persuade a younger person to do.

Would Nigeria not function anymore when Bhuari goes to his maker?

Bhuari has always have his deputy or running mate named Tunde except on one occasion. So, I won't be surprised if he decided to make Tunde Fashola his running mate for this election. Unfortunately, he will still loose.

1.Tunde idiagbon
2. Tunde bakare
3. Tunde Fashola (maybe)

Just looking at the 3 names above, with the greatest of respect to Gen. Bhuari, they are all smarter than him except that Bhuari is 'born to rule' and others to follow.
CelebritiesRe: List Of Top Nigerian Entertianers Turned Politicians by vigasimple(m): 5:24pm On Sep 18, 2014
Some of these aspirants are dead on arrival.

1. Kenny st. Brown for Ikeja in Lagos under APC, the no primaries party.

2. ODE, as in olusola Desmond Elliott, what a funny name for the opposition to use against him. Again, he is contesting in a no primaries party.

3. 9ice , again in APC, the no primaries party. But in his suit and bow tie he looks more like Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi , a well know promoter of hatred in religion

As I said, their political ambition are all dead on arrival, especially with party of 'imposition of candidates' .

On another point, look at APC manifesto, it is very clear, they are a party of little substance.

If GEJ'S influence cld nt oust Almakura, he may not be able to make good his deal with Ribadu. Btw, i heard the APC wants to field a xtian candidate. Hmm, that wld make it very tough for ribadu if he eventually emerges as the pdp flag bearer. Ribadu should just pray... and play wisely, politics is durrrty!!!
You are very correct in your analysis. If APC were to field a Christian candidate, then it is clear that APC plant RIBADU, so either way they couldn't lose. APC desperate for power instead of having a people based manifesto that clearly distinguish them from PDP.

In my own little opinion, we need a strong second party as opposition party, I do not see APC as that party.
PoliticsRe: ADAMAWA GUBER: PDP Governors Plot Against Ribadu by vigasimple(m): 4:49pm On Aug 27, 2014
Itydee: They need another Sanusi Lamido Sanusi in GEJ's government. Who best fits that role than the voracious and politically dumb Ribadu? Controversial all the time. he has no political leanings and was sent to ACN to do a hatchet job which he concluded successfully as a failed Presidential candidate. If not how can one explain the fact that the government that re-instated his rank and pardoned him and brought him back to the country will be so bullied and insulted by the beneficiary-Ribadu? A government that has not done any injury or hurt him or his ilks in anyway got the bashing of its life right from the time the guy set foot in Nigeria?.
He was rewarded with Petroleum Investigation Committee which He handled the assignment perfectly but was forced to leak fake reports to the ACN hawks and others that thought he was their original mole. As a safeguard he was rubbished by planted colleagues on the committee. hence the government reaped bountifully by showing to Nigeria that even Ribadu could not give a dependable report of the Oil fraud situation while calming jangled nerves by initially appointing him to do the hatchet man job. Imagine a Presidential Candidate for the Opposition party working as a sub- sub committee chairman for the ruling party. I laugh in Swahili. he was elated to be so engaged.
I think he was already a burden to the APC goons and they were looking for a way to release him. So they gave him sublte cold shoulders and helped railroad him into gredilily accepting to run for Adamawa Guber race. Will he be a good candidate or will he be a spoil sport? Time will tell.
The Ribadu of a man has a mind of his own and is not trusted by the existing thieving governors in PDP and even in APC.
In honesty the way and manner APC has kept mum over his defection speaks volumes. He might be a new mole to replace Lamido Sanusi in GEJ's Government. Another school of thought is of the opinion that Ribadu might be a mole suddenly discovered in APC. Unfortunately, the APC goons are too ashamed to call him a mole since most deserters were tagged moles in the past. He might know too much about the henchmen in APC, so much so that they don't want to arouse his temper to spill the bin on them and spread the cankerworm and ebola in their closet to every Nigerian
Notice that since the exit of the treacherous Emir from CBN, the shocking figures of government expenditures and schedules that were usually bandied by Amaechi and co are no longer available for the APC louts to bandy with.
As late Bola Ige would say "I dey siddon Look".
This is the best viewpoints you can look at the scenario. There are many questions that we sadly May not get answers to.

Okorocha used APGA through the back door and went to APC and RIBADU can only win Adamawa as PDP candidate , so he may pretend to get the seat and cross carpet to APC. Amaechi did the same in River state.

RIBADU is more in tune politically with APC than PDP. He also has more enemy in PDP than anywhere else. He cannot be trusted even if he promised. And APC, Bhuari and El Rufai silence speaks volumes as if there is a conspiracy. RIBADU is too independent to be trusted.

On the other hand. RIBADU May be playing smart politics by getting elected as a Governor with PDP now and contest for Presidency in 2019 when it will likely be the North Central or North East produce a candidate.

If I were GEJ, I will err on the side of caution and let a loyal party member be the flag bearer. RIBADU IS TOO RISKY a bet.
PoliticsRe: Ribadu-i Rejected Apc's Pressure To Stay by vigasimple(m): 9:48pm On Aug 14, 2014
RIBADU is being smart enough to know that PDP control Adamawa state and to go to APC or any other party, he is guaranteed to lose.

He has grown up to understand Nigerian politics. Once he becomes governor, he can use his office to achieve whatever he chooses.

PoliticsRe: So, General Buhari Tried To Kill Himself? by vigasimple(m): 4:27pm On Jul 28, 2014
As the saying goes. "You reap what you sow"

General Bhuari May not have staged this attack, but he either acquiesce or encourage/incite Boko Haram people when he was making baboons and blood speech when he lost the last election. How many youth corpers died as a result?

2. Since when Northern leaders have vow to make the country ungovernable for GEJ, how many churches and southerners have died? At least 3-1 as against Northerners, same with Church bombing , at least 3-1.

The truth is in my own opinion, Boko Haram is the military wing of majorities of our Northern leaders, they clearly like the disruption and killing in order to make GEJ appears incompetent to enable them grab power for their own selfish interest, not to look after Nigeria as country or even their own Northern region.

The northern leaders know the solution to Boko Haram but that is their modern day equivalent of military coup detat

We are all deceiving ourselves in this country for not telling it the way it is.
PoliticsRe: IBB Condemns Attempt To Kill Buhari by vigasimple(m): 2:46pm On Jul 25, 2014
This thing has been going for several years. Bhuari encourage this nonsense by making an incitement and hateful speech right after the last election which he lost badly.

If anyone can recollect, a lot of youth corpers mainly from the south were cut short in their primes, same as a lot of southerners who are mainly Christians.

I am among the people who believed that chibok girls is a political propaganda whether or not there actual abduction. The government of Bornu state and the BORN TO RULE slavemaster are doing all this to get back the office if the presidency of Nigeria.

Until Bhuari stage managed attack both his wife, IBB and himself don't know or appears to know what is going on.

If everyone we recall, the boko haram people want the president to be Muslim. Are they no other religion in this country? Did they asked the Muslim to join by force any other religion?

If anyone, especially our Northern brothers want the presidency for serving the nation, they will not be this desperate.

There are more comedians in the Rep than anywhere else. Patrick Obiahgbon was once a member with 'Timber and caliber' grammar.

The federal house will be good place for retiring actor and actress, unfortunately, we may not be too sure when they are serious or when they are acting.

In all seriousness, they are probably better and smarter than the bunch of backwardness we currently have their. But in today's Nigeria politics, you need a godfather.

We need a credible opposition party in this country to make our democracy better and allow PDP to provide better governance or the opposition formed the government.

Unfortunately and sadly APC as an opposition party is not credible ab initio, they want power for the wrong reason. To get back 'loaned power' from the infidels from the south because they are 'BORN TO RULE'

Nigerians are ready and yearning for a true sincere opposition to challenge PDP and makes our country great, instead APC just keep wasting their time pretending to be what they are not and hoping Nigerians will fail to see their real ulterior motives.

We are looking forward to a better and religious/tribal free opposition.

If the opposition Is not about power to the north, they will find a better candidate in the ss as their presidential candidate or se so that we know they mean well for Nigeria and her unity. it is one Nigeria when north want power but the country will burn as soon as a 'kaferi' is in office.

Gradually the truth is unmasking the deception. Look at the roll call of who is "solidarity" visits. Gang of 4 led by Jigawa governor, Sule Lamido who want to be President and Amaechi VP aided by Babangida Aliyu.

Here is the deception, Amechi is playing saint and seeking sympathy from the opposition press and all those with their own agenda. Is Amaechi a proper member of PDP or is he just being in the party to remain a Governor. Other than causing disability in Rivers state. Even if he manage to deliver the state to the opposition, it will still not be enough to dislodge GEJ from Aso Rock .

As this country stands today, history is against Amaechi, in fact he will end up like Sylva or worst still Ibori.

If GEJ abuse his presidential power's so is as also Amaechi abuse governor power in relation to local governments of the 13 local govt he removed the chairmen arbitrarily.

If I were a betting man, I wouldn't bet against GEJ to triumph. Nigeria's politics as of today, is still that of incumbency, tribalism, regions and religion.
