If we remove ethnicity/region and religion from our politics, we have 1 million fashola in Nigeria, especially in Southern Nigeria. off course we have good one's up North but the elites that control the people up there will not allow them to come out or succeed.

Governors from Lagos state, Kaduna, Kano, Rivers states shuold be automatically shortlisted for the Presidency, they run a metropolitan states where all the tribes and religion of Nigeria meet and live co-existence.

Fashola is NOT scared because he knew that he will barring any earthqauke win the election by landslide because even Tinubu try to replace him but did not succeed.

He is showing humility, not taking the fact that he will win for granted, still campaigning for every votes, and who knows, if he work hard and impressed all the diverse ethnic in Lagos, 2015 PRESIDENCY may just be what the whole country is asking him to do., If our brothers in the North will have woken up from their slumber of

GEJ and PDP has thrown confusion into the camp of their enemies, CPC and ACN not to agree, and even if they agree for them to be confused.

Look at this formu, even the people commenting cannot agree whether or not Bakare should have signed a post dated letter of resignation.

CPC has been proven by NASS and presidential election to be a smaller regional party than ACN and they want to take the lead. Bhuari is the example of thing wrong with the North 'BORN TO RULE' mentality, they think they have the God given mandate to rule the rest of the country whether or not they liked it, they have done so repeatedly either as military or civilian.

Grand delusion is what Bhuari and his supporters are suffering from. there is no path to victory for them in this Presidential election. They conceed 2 regions out of six before the election, got less than 10% in the other southern region, also discount the mid belt states.

Even, the court are humans, they will reason along the lines of the writer of this articles because if they deduct the amount of 'excess votes' even in the south althogether, BB CPC will still not have enough votes. Plus if they also go for the underage in the North, the eqaution of the difference will propably remain the same from where they start from, that is GEJ won about the same amunt of majority votes apart from the 25% in 24 states.

The only plan of BB is to win the Presidency of Nigeria via the Northern 'dodgy census majority' what they forgotten that it will be a bad victory for them as he will simply become the 'president of northern nigeria' Bhuari candidacy is based on Majority votes from the North assuming that the North will vote enblock for a Muslim ( which he advocated some while back) , what about the middle belters and Northern minority christuans or people who just not believe in Bhuari and his charade.

Mr. Bhuari should not try to forced himself on us, this is not 1983, and certainly NOT a Military country anymore. Part of the attribute of a good leader is to look at the whole picture and accept that good as you may claim to be, the people simply do not want you to lead them. Even Moses was reject by the Isrealites whist doing good for them.

My take  is that CPC and Bhuari want to rule NIGERIA BY INTIMIDATION AND FORCE, once a coupist always a coupist. His mindset has not change in spite of being in a civil dispensation. He should tell all his suppporters to go to court.

Reading the letters especially the one signed by Pastor Tunde Bakare that CPC and Bhuari are not sincere ( especially Pastor Bakare- because the President have no powers to remove VP, OBJ-V- Atiku is the most recent experience, only NASS can do that , and the NASS will be controlled by PDP), and simply playing games. In any event, even with the alliance, it will still NOT be enough to make them defeat PDP, it will give them momentum, and election would have been close and there would have been more noise for saying that Bhuari won majority votes.


Coming to the convenor of this meeting, it will be clear that all the noise is simply NORTHERN INTEREST , BORN TO RULE.

IBB, ABDUSALAM, GUSAU AND ATIKU, only Ciroma was not physically present to complete the BORN TO RULE team of the North.

Bakare has done Nigeria favours even though he was after his own interest.

I don't belong to any political party and find it hard to support them BUT anyone who thinks that BHUARI CPC won the majority of the votes rigging or no rigging  NEED THEIR HEAD EXAMINE  for DEEP INSANITY.

Why did you think CPC were trying to forge an alliance with ACN, just to get a majority vote to force a run off, they are unable to win 25% spread in 24 states nor popular votes even with underage voting.

Just use SW voting pattern as the most reliable ( If people want to subscribe to rigging in SE,SS and the NORTH), then CPC has not won either the 25% spread or majority votes. Desperates 'BORN TO RULE' , a leopard does not change it's spot.

The reason why most people are against a minister of God joining active politics is that they will start behaving like politicians. There is no difference between any of the Nigerian political parties including CPC ,who are apart from DO OR DIE like others also confused, fundermentalist and violent in their nature.

If the computer reduces CPC vote in SOUTH by 40%, add that to it, it will still not be enough but the reality is that Pastor bakare is daydreaming, they will never get 100,000 votes in the SE and SS and even SW votes have prove it, the highest they got was OYO state at 92,000

Bakare is also throwing mud at Prof. Jega, thank God, he is not an Igbo or Yoruba man. Bakare want to be VP at all costs maybe then pray for Bhuari to die in office so that he can become President. Unfortunately he (bakare) don't know the 'BORN TO RULE' mindset. They are just trying to use him and dump him.

I don't belong to any political party but CPC did not and cannot win the Presidential election because they are not a mainstream party to people in the South and even in Middle Belt and some non sharia northern states. They can't even compromise with a bigger party ACN to get an alliance that will have given PDP a credible opposition, not that it will be enough for them to win.but it will be a better try

SOUR LOSERS suffering from delusion, maybe Pastor Bakare has been 'told by God' that he will be VP at all costs.

There is something call 'BALANCE OF TERROR ' , this is what in my best argument for CPC may have happen here. PDP knowing what CPC may do up Noth with underage voters etc deploy their own counter measure since CPC knows that they cannot 'RIG' 25% from 24 states as they simply do not have a single states in the south of the 17 states that they will get the 25%, so their best strategy was to rigged the North with underage voters to inflate  'majority votes' to force a run off hoping that the underage and Northern sectional/regional/religion interest will prevail at Runn off.

The CPC startegy is a military one which may win them election but cannot be used to govern and you cannot force yourself over people like Bhuari is used to as a military man. His VP has no political constituency to deliver. He is Sarah Palin of Nigeria. He is good for headline and rebutall of Bhuari the religious bigot. But it is clarly a failed marriage.

Again, take 50% away from GEJ votes, CPC still don't have a prayer fro winning, so they should stop inciting the Almajiris to kill southerners otherwise they will cause more harm than they bargain for.

In any event, CPC is a one man party show, take Bhuari away from CPC, then thetre is no more party. This 2011, we don't want 1 man show anymore. Even ACN and ANPP, even APGA has more team than CPC

How can a party without any structures or serious campaigning in a particular zones hopes to get anything from that zone.

What CPC was expecting was a miracle that on the day of the election all the people in the SOUTH will just wake up and see sai Bhuari, a messiah and vote for him enmass.

Let us do a devils advocate here and take away 50% of the vote away in the whole SOUTH, BHUARI and CPC will still not win because NOT 1% of the 50% will vote for him. There is 10million vote margin not 10,000, not 100,000 not 1million.

Bhuari and all the NPFL are hoping for confusion to use as a pretext to 'invite the army' but I assure him, Army will not help him here, Nigeria will Just go their separate ways, SOUTH NORTH.

Bhuari 'may be' the best man in Nigerian politics but if the electorate ( the people he want to rule than LEAD) reject you, that is it.

If CPC think that the election is rigged ( which will expose their own underaged riggin) then let them go to court rather than subtly inciting and encouraging violence ( they have started this even before the election and the results are known since their is no good path for them to win the election in the first place.

Self denial and grandeur delusion is what the CPC people are suffering from. If and because CPC did not get alliance on the own terms(take it or leave it from a weak party from NASS election) then 'Tinubu must have done a deal with PDP'

Before the election, SW voters are always going to vote their preferred candidates at NASS elections and GEJ at Presidential then reverting back to their party at Gubernatorial and State House of Assembly.

I dare say that even if CPC and ACN has formed an alliance, GEJ will still have won with narrow majority but still win 25% in 24 states. SW are voting for GEJ and not PDP, and over 75% of SW cannot stand Bhuari, because he is an hypocrit. The 25% or so remaining are doing so for Bakare VP.

There is clearly no path to victory for CPC except trying to get their underage votes to get majority of popular votes from the North to force a run-off, and the entire SOUTH saw that and they vote enmass for GEJ who we are all hoping will find a way to reform PDP.

Even , the last week one GEJ is still better than Bhuari, Ribadu and Shekaru are slightly better than GEJ, so your logic does not add up.

Bhuari is a joke and an inept 'leader' only wanted to be President because of sense of entitlement 'BORN TO RULE'. He[b] FORCED[/b] himself on Nigerians with GUNS (akin to Armed Robbery in 1983) and years down the line he wanted us to vote for him, using his forced 'rulership' as proof of his antecedent. You cannot eat your cake and have it. A thief cannot use stolen goods as evidence of his wealth.

His 'rulership' in 1983 was partly effective because of Tunde Idiagbon, and he was trying to repeat that with Tunde Bakare but did not have structures in 80% of southern Nigerian but with PDP, GEJ has 27 states under his belt.

Bhuari does not know how to win election and cannot govern based on that alone. He refused to speak to people he called 'enemy' which his fanatic supporters called 'infidel'

GEJ was speaking with people who may not even vote for him but he knows that he will need them when he wins, that is LEADERSHIP.

Rigidity and stubborness was what IBB cite to overthrow the regime of Bhuari in 1985, and the same stuff still remains with Bhuari. A leopard cannot change its spot.

How did Bhuari propose to win? what are his path to victory, they even thought he would win Popular votes to allow for a run off which will not have been good for this country because either him or GEJ will have won by a simple which could be 1 vote either way. even with a run off, he would have lost the election because he will not win anything in the south, not kwara,kogi benue and plateau at minimum. all the vote spread in the south for ACN will have gone to PDP.

The votes for Presidential is for GEJ and NOT PdP, and the vote for CPC is for Bhuari, not his party.

Then the North simply continue to go backwards because with Non PDP governors with PDP president and NASS they will get less money from the federation account or they will DECAMP in 6 months or 3and half years time.

Even if Bhuari and Bakare were given extra votes by PDP , he would still not be enough for them to win. They CPC, do not have any structures and unable to win. they are not in position to win 25% in 24 states or the popular votes even with failed alliance with ACN.

This country is about North and South. we have different viewpoint and stakes and only fools think that our brothers up north think much abouth the southerners and 'infidels'. They are 'BORN TO RULE' over the infidels whilst their own people never progress.

COUP, I dey laugh o, that will be the begining of the REPUBLIC OF SOUTHERN NIGERIA.

For, the first time in the history of this country the south can see the north games, and vote for a better candidates, NOT the best as the system did not allow the best either from the South or indeed North to emerge.

Just on a final note of my call of the election in favour GEJ.

Even if CPC and ACN has formed an alliance, GEJ will still have beaten them on popular votes as both may have 25% spread in 24 states and FCT.

The diffrence on final count in popular votes is about 8 votes assuming both parties votes(CPC+ACN) added together, off course there will be extra votes for them but also may lose votes because of the onfusion of the last minutes.

Opposition should start now if they will have a chance in 4 years time. They should group together and get formidable candidates all across the 6 geo political zone, otherwise history will repeat itself in 2015. BB is toast forever like IBB,Gusau and Atiku is the only MARKET GOAT, that will try to run in 2015, and he will be beaten soundly and he died politicallty then.

The difference of the total votes available in those outstanding 2 (about 10million) states to be declared is not enought to offset popular votes even if all were given to BB. The entire voting population of those 2 states are not up to 10million.

GEJ is the elected President of the FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA. He has finally won an election in his own right.

President Goodluck will win without any run off with the result announced so far.

26+ FCT states result announced so far (from 36 states) with Cross Rivers and Ondo to come from South- GEJ will win popular votes and BB will not win 25% spread in those 2 states

From the North, Adamawa, Nassarawa,Plateau,Niger , votes will be shared equally and both will get 25% spread


Borno,Yobe,Taraba and Zamfara, GEJ will get decent votes but may not get 25% spread.

GEJ will clearly satisfy  25% in 24 states and also has about 7-8million lead in popular votes. He has already 25% spread in 23 states plus FCT, and he will clearly have Cross river and Ondo making 25states with 25% spread. Only in KATSINA,KANO AND BAUCHI, did GEJ not have the 25% spread in the North whilst BB does not have 25% spread in a single Southern states, the closest is Oyo state.

Goodluck to everyone tommorrow, let us go and vote for our respective parties that we support in peace.

Let the winner be sober to know the mandate belong to the people and the loser accept it that they have not convince the electorate at this time, and they should try better next time.

Before the NASS election, Bhuari/bakare believes in their own 'strenght'. They thought that they will outperform ACN, and therefore lay down all the conditions but to their lack of political understanding ACN beat them massively and ACN were magnanimous to offer him to be the President while they gave them VP but Bakare want to be VP, they were going to deceive ACN to get their supporters to vote for CPC for free, and once they are sworn in, that it is.

Nonetheless, even the alliance will still have not beaten GEJ because they will not get 25% of 24 states.  As for Bhuari and IBB,Gusau, Atiku, it is all about the POWER MUST RETURN TO THE NORTH and nothing else.

COALATION OR RETIRED GENERALS, AND CUSTOM THIEVIES

One of the untold success of OBJ is the idea of former governors running for the office of the Presidency. Yar A'dua and GEJ are products of that.

As of today ( including all the Presidential candidates puts together) fashola towers above them. there are several reasons for this, Lagos state is a metropolitan city, he is a SAN(which he has never play up)and for our brethern in the North , he is a muslim.

We may be able to find one close to him in the S.East and SS, maybe Niger state governor from the north, and consideration must be given to the governors of Kano and Kaduna state because these are also diverse ethnic states.

FASHOLA in a good country should have been annointed President by now, but in Nigeria, will the NORTH vote for him. , even some in the SE will see him from ethnic lenses.

Dreamers are always crying because the dreams are simply dream that always end up being a nightmare.  PDP has 27 states plus Ondo state LP and Anambra APGA making 29 states out of 36 states, ANPP and CpC and ACN 7 states, please do the maths and tell us why your dream will not end of being a nightmare.

GEJ has already close the deal because he tiptoe his way without any major incident that will have handed the opposition an opening with momentum of any kind.

Say NO to 'BORN TO RULE' vote wisely.

What losers know how to do is prepare their argument ready once they lose. They are testing public opinion on how their arguments will work, one of the party's VP candidates even said that North will go on fire if they do not win.

Look, whether you like it or not PDP is the only national party with 27 states out 36, and the rest 9 shared between the oppostion, LP and APGA with 2 of those states are supporting GEJ, that makes it 29 out of 36, how is CPC or ACN or ANPP or comination of the 3 going to win. Do the maths and stop doing voodoo calculations and permutations even with 25% of 24 states, is virtually impossible.

The only massive rigging and surprise we can have is if GEJ losses.

Why was IBB,Atiku and Gusau romancing Tinubu to get Bhuari elected? Just because they want the power back to the North.
