It won't be well with Julius Berger construction. Una dey mad. They had suspended that construction for at least 4months now. Dem no do any work, dem no remove the barricades. My people on the mowe-ibafo corridor face hell every single day, and this has been the case for over 6 months that those barricades have been put. People leave home 4am and get to Ikeja by 9am at the earliest, a journey that is only 15mins normally. Armed robberies have been happening on that long bridge portion of the road for the past 1month due to this same everyday gridlock. They suspended work citing funds unavailability, and knew the enormous traffic that it was causing everyday, SEBI una go remove the barricades until FG answer una, they just left it like that. It is Dec 15 they want to remove it, what about now now??!. They are very very mad!

Early years when i picked up chauffeur job with Avis rent a car, it was fun anyway. Passengers weren't that rude but many were cooperate in their dealings. University ladies, though displayed some attitudes but not insulting while dropping them off after roforofo with their sugaries.

I feel you bro. Nigerians are a difficult lot to deal with. The fact they are paying you means they own you. Few courtesy, manners, respect etc. I think the society has played a huge role. Poor up bringing, defensive mechanism to avoid being taken advantage off, being aggressive etc.
Was at a restaurant the other day, a big place with over 30 tables. Bought my food and placed it on one of the over 25 empty tables. Went to get cutlery. On returning to my table, this young fellow was seated by my open food! Out of all the over 25 empty tables ohh!! He bought nothing, just came in and relaxed by my food, punching his phone, after sometime, he got up and left. He obviously saw nothing wrong or strange acting that way! That how folks are now. The society is damaged! No common sense. Even on this forum, you see people insult, curse "your father", place generational curse etc because of trivial matters. They are quick to call people better than them, fools, idiots, you will never make it, failure, thunder fire you, poverty etc.
When you check, most are students, young folks from dysfunctional homes.

Tbvh, this story made me very emotional. I'm shedding tears now. There are many stupid people in Nigeria and other places missing big opportunities because of behaviors like this.

The moral of this story for 2023 elections?

Don't support candidates because they CAN WIN the election. Instead, support candidates because they CAN DELIVER quality leadership.

For example, I was terribly disappointed in what Soludo wrote in his article against Peter Obi. Imagine saying things like: Obi can't win, therefore Obi shouldn't contest!?! Obi is making way for Tinubu!?! and other trash.

The worst part is that many people are now taking what Soludo wrote, line, hook, and sinker just because he is a professor and Obi is a Mr just like this stupid cake maker.

Seriously, this is the exact attitude among Nigerians that is helping politicians to keep scamming them from generation to generation. We should learn to give people their due whether they are rich, famous, or carrying their status on their head or not.

Personally, I can even trust a leader who goes by the title 'Mr' than the one who is obsessed with titles such as 'Chief', 'Prof', etc. Bianca for example is a lawyer.
