What have you been doing with your off campus boy friends? How did you handle their sex request{s}? |
MizMyColi:Correct. Simply put... Dont Panic> Afterall you just got to know this person. Its either acceptance or Rejection. Why the melt down? Benefit of doubt>> You owe him / her that. There could be some legitimate reasons why s/he stopped communicating. In this case, 'NO AIRTIME', which isn't just flying. Then you decide to put his market back on your head or dust it off your shoulders. |
Mindfulness:Did you {take time to} read what I posted? |
bigpicture001:Its not really a function of 'being ruled by a particular set of people'. It all boils down the dividends of the ruling by the ruled. And of course, every system , the world over is subject to manipulation, hence, the goal in any system is to reduce the level of internal / external influence to the barest minimum and not to deny the existence of internal / external influence. |
If s/he doesn't call you.. Its simple. Don't panic. Don't beat yourself. Keep things in perspective. “Dating is risky business.” It’s risky, of course, because there’s always the chance of getting hurt. If you are going to date, you need to accept that many different variables are at play when two people successfully come together and forge a real relationship. Timing, readiness, relationship status, and even luck all play an important role, so remember that and live by this cardinal rule of matchmaking. What I’m about to say may be hard to hear but it’s the truth: How you respond to a guy/girl not calling is a reflection on how you feel about yourself, and not so much about the guy/girl. If you’re feeling bad because a guy/girl didn’t call, it means that you’ve gotten stuck jumping to some negative conclusions. To turn things around, focus on yourself by saying positive things about yourself. Say out loud, “I’m a good package, and I know other men/women will see that.” Repeat it multiple times throughout the day. "The temptation to feel bad when someone you like doesn’t call is going to be strong, so watch out for the accompanying inclination to beat yourself up. Instead of focusing on the negative (he didn’t call), redirect your attention to something positive." If it’s been a couple days and he hasn’t called, give him a week or so until you decide to move on. But once it’s apparent that he’s not going to call (usually around the one week marker), set a new goal of finding someone else. |
"An attack on Boko Haram is an attack on the North" Muhammadu Buhari. Are you thinking what am thinking? |
bigpicture001:With time people will find the advantage in a merit based society. |
bigpicture001:Absolute power? In what sense? Devolution of federal power to state/regions would do the magic. With power comes responsibilities. If the states/regions are directly responsible for and of their resources, then they would be equally responsible for their internal and external developments, like building of low cost housing estates, construction of roads, power generation and distribution etc. Now the Senate, frankly, the House of Rep' can actually do whatever it is that the Senate is doing. The House of Rep will provide the checks and balances without the unnecessary duplication of the Senate. 'Tilting toward absolute the reign of absolute power' as you opined does not hold any water. On States / regions being richer than the Federal. That can be easily sorted out via "taxation". |
Power Even if its the only achievement anyone can boast of after one term in office, its basically enough. It will solve 50% of our national woes. Equitable Distribution of Revenues Accruing from The Nations Natural Resources 1 -Communities, LGA's, States and/or regions would be given full resource control. 2 -Governments at the center would play administrative roles while resource owners must play functional roles. 3- Resource owners must remit some (review-able) percentage of their income to the center. Constitution Amendment Key Highlights. Discard the Senate. Downward review of allowances and emoluments etc of members of house of rep. INEC Chairman must not be appointed by the President. Its political parties that ought to appoint INEC Chairpersons and RECs. Life ban from politics and jail terms for any convicted public / elected official. National Merit Board Discard the federal character commission act and replace it with a 'National Merit Board' whose job would be to select technocrats into key government agencies. The best legs gets the job irrespective of every other considerations. |

Instead of fixing Nigeria, they are more concerned about the workability of Biafra. |
Abagworo:I don't join issues... But you're a terrible liar. How can someone tell lies so blatantly? Most shops are locked. Schools didn't open. Banks are very scanty and almost locking out customers. You can lie for Africa. Tufiakwagi. |
There's no need for violence or any show of force whatsoever. I pay my shop rents. I pay for my house rents. And I've decided not to open my shops and just idle away at my home, why should this bother anyone? I wasn't forced to sit at home. I wasn't forced to pay respect to the tragedies of the civil war. I am doing it out of my own, my volition. Why is it causing you too much pain? They say it was for friends and sympathisers of Biafra. If you're not a friend nor a sympathiser, then you should go about your business without fear. You say you don't care about Biafra, but your online posts and comments are all centered around Biafra. Why are you so engrossed with / about things you're indifferent about. Why are your posts and comments full of bile and hate. I have friends and relatives across all divides. My stance on Biafra shouldn't be used to malign my overall disposition towards the Nigerian project. Self determination is not treason. If you love Nigeria, then you must ask critical questions. You shouldn't shy away from your responsibility. My criticism of you doesn't mean that I l hate you. If there's anything to prove, then it actually proves my desire for the success of this Nigerian project. |

CHANGING THE BRAIN. Any kind of activity makes our brain generate new neural connections. If we think we’re not able to achieve a promotion, this idea will only strengthen in our consciousness over time. But if you use the phrase "I’ll succeed," the brain itself will give you opportunities to realize your goal. We have the ability to achieve absolutely everything. The main thing is to believe. https://brightside.me/wonder-curiosities/10-facts-about-brain-work-which-prove-were-capable-of-anything-311910/
|
INSENSITIVE TO PAIN. Our brain reacts to pain but doesn’t feel it itself because of the lack of necessary receptors. Although this fact doesn’t apply to lots of blood vessels, nerves, and tissues that surround the brain.
|
GOOD TO FORGET. To "save" new memories, our brain needs to get rid of old ones. It would be nice if we were able to decide what to remember and what to forget. To do this, we need to use the information we want to preserve more often.
|
SHUTTING DOWN. In order not to drown in thousands of negative thoughts, we need to "shut ourselves down" to give a break to our immune system. Don’t forget about active rest: for our brain, it’s the most useful kind of relaxation.
|
NO REST. Even when we sleep, our brain continues to work hard. Moreover, its activity during sleep is even higher than during the day.
