emmasege: There are many of his kind in the church. It's easy to become a Pastor in RCCG if you have money or you are well lettered. RCCG Pastors don't undergo the kind of scrutiny and training their counterparts in Deeper Life and Winners go through, and that's why they are full of scandals. It's not just enough to observe a publicized 50/100-day prayer and fasting to live up to a pastoral calling, the quality of the head (in terms of rhema not rhetoric preachings and testimonies) will determine the quality of the body. RCCG enjoys unnecessary media hype which does not correspond with the church's spiritual productivity. If anyone wants to prove me wrong, get the tapes of Kumuyi or oyedepo and compare their teachings with Adeboye's. One will realize the difference. A lot of things that happen in other churches can't be found in Deeper Life. Lai lai. I read some time ago that pastor Paul Adefarasin threatened to expose homosexuals in his church. He was so livid that Sunday. I can imagine any gay being comfortable in Deeper Life or MFM. Unfortunately, a lot of scandals occur in RCCG. Ive not heard scandals about Pastor Adeboye. I believe he's a man of integrity. But a lot of runs happen under his leadership. I don't know what he's doing about it, though. |

victorels: I was discussing with one of my uncle concerning my job status and seeking for his help to get me into the company he worked for but he insisted I pay him 50,000 Naira before he can help me. He narated to me how those he had helped never appreciated his effort and refused my plea that I am different.
I decided to take his word as a humor by telling him that I have a lot of 'Thank you' 'very much' and 'God Bless you' to give when he finally worked it out for me but his reply seem more humorous to my ill humor. He said ''I Receive Plenty Thank you from my Kids and My Pastor Said That I'm Blessed'' so you can hold yours. ''The money or continue your job hunt another place''
What should I do? If you have, pay him. But whenever his children need help, ask them for money too. |

I know it's hard for you guys to believe Mr Kachikwu but as the Vice President of ExxonMobil all his take home pay plus profit sharing should be more than a million dollars. ExxonMobil was the most profitable company in the world for sometime. At his level he gets some equity or shares that comes with dividends in USD. In the oil industry, it's not just salary. There are many allowances that are paid through out the year. Try and get more info. Drivers in the oil industry are paid far more than middle level managers. Why do you think it's so difficult to get a job there? Some people just dey open dia mouth dey talk. No mind them. |

Education › Re: Nigerian-British Student Designs A Cathedral With Cereal Boxes (Photos) by vislabraye(m): 10:13pm On Feb 12, 2016 |
ejorgeneral: Princess Zina Glorie Nweze, a 12 years old Nigerian British born is taking over Internet after her excited mum posted her hand made cathedral design on Facebook .
The student who is the first of 4 children and Only daughter, is currently in her first year in secondary school, year 7 at Brampton Manor Academy, London.
In an exclusive interview with permission from her mother Ijeoma Amazin Nweze, the 12 year old takes me through the process of days building her first cathedral using cereal and shoe boxes.
Hi Princess, this is amazing . Tell me why did you decide to construct a cathedral? [i]
In January, the whole of year 7 were given a project to come up with a design of a Saxon, Norman or Gothic Cathedral and were given 2 weeks to hand it in. I came home and discussed it with my parents who gave me a lot of support. My dad went off his way to show me where to get most of the materials I needed for my history project.
What were the materials you used ? Can you name them all? [i]
I gathered old files, foam, my daddy’s roofing insulation and wood, used materials, cereal boxes and my mum’s new shoe box.
I‘m sure your mum must have been mad at you using her shoe boxes? [i]
Yeah.
Now she’s no longer mad?[i]
Yes. She’s excited seeing the finished work.
Ok, tell me, how did you get on with the work?[i]
Most night I worked with my dad until 10pm, in order to rest up for early school rise.
I gathered so many materials, chopped, chipped and sharpened the wood, painted the blue shoe box to white, glued the paper windows and finally messed up the whole house. My hands were so sticky (from the glue) for 2 days. My hair had paints on it. I couldn’t take out my braids because I had agreed with my mum, that I’ll keep the braids for at least 6 weeks.
You really worked so hard.[i]
Yes. I worked so hard with the help of my dad to finish up my project.
You must be proud of yourself ?[i]
I was really happy Show the picture of my work at school.
Have you always liked designing or anything around building? [i]
I like painting … But not very good at drawing. I was particularly interested in this project because it doesn’t involve much drawing. I have put 100% of my effort, time and energy to accomplish this piece of Art.
What other things are you interested in? [i]
I have strong interest in athletics, football, performing arts, photography, videos , erm, media in general. I also love architecture because of the plans and the beauty of designs. I always go out with my mum during her live performances or ministrations as her Personal Assistant & Director of Pictures & Videos .. I also help my dad with painting the house and building his back garden studio.
You must be very proud. Are we going to see more great work from Princess Zina?[i]
I feel really inspired to do more. I’ve been encouraged to dream big. Now I have the confidence to move on. I also have guidance from my parents, especially my daddy who is an architect. I feel really proud of myself!
What’s your Daddy’s name ? [i] Paul Nweze
Thank you Princess for answering my questions. We will be looking forward to see you accomplish more . Thanks for sharing your work with me. I’m inspired too. [i]
Thank you.

I've applied to more than 500 jobs online with a CV always restructured, well-furnished and updated. Ye, no single invite.I've even veered off my field into some areas I consider can boost one's chances but dear, the same issue keep coming up. To add up, I have a diploma in computer engineering, learnt HTML/JavaScript/CSS programming, HPLC/GC-MS/AAS analytical methods, and possess a first class degree. Feb.14th will make it 2 years I did my POP,still in my parent's House. So, my dear, God blessed you at the appointed time. . All this certification . |

kroger: I graduated with the least of grades "PASS" from one of the federal universities, not because i was a numskull but because i did not join the band wagon of the "sorters". More so i was financially inept which resulted in missing some exams, but after 4 years the war was over. With my kind of grade the future was deem for me with no hope. I took some computer programming courses to add to my CV i thought it would be of help. Alas four years on no single interview, i was roaming the streets without hope
God finally answered my call and i travel to the united states for greener pastures, i enrolled for a six months IT course and after completion i received my first phone interview from one of the telecom company and later on skype interview. after three days i was called for a one on one interview at their corporate office. It was straight forward with three interviewers, they asked about my skills and what i could do , which i told them with great confidence. A system was brought in and i was asked to configure bla bla bla which i did. To my amazement none asked a question pertaining my degree what they where hammering on was on the job.
After completion i was given the job instantly to resume the following Monday with a well furnished office and a very good pay. Right Now i am the manager of my team of which i developed a standard software for the company that remains number one.
My point is why is Nigeria hell bent on class of degree rather what the individual has to offer. There are lots of talented 3rd class and pass job seekers out there if given a chance will perform far better. I think this is also one of the bane that is making the Nigerian economy a far cry, it hurts seeing the lower class graduates not given a chance. I weep for Nigeria. I recently sent my resume to one of the Nigerian job boards just to test if i will be contacted but no call as usual maybe because of my lower degree . Nigeria has a very long way to go, even the oyibos that taught us the system isn't even using it its just so annoying.
For all those with a lower degree believe in yourself, a paper should not define your worth but rather look inward and surely you will conquer.
Pardon my English and thanks for reading Congrats. Thank God for you. 3rd class is a career death sentence in Nigeria. Thank God you had the opportunity of travelling outside. That just changed the whole thing. |

ceometromedia: President Buhari says despite the recent attacks by Boko Haram members in some parts of Borno state, the group has now been decimated to the point where they do not have a hold on any Local government area in Nigeria. Buhari said this while speaking with the visiting President of Germany, Joachim Gauck, at the statehouse today Feb 11th
“It is a pity Boko haram welcomed you by explosions in Maiduguri that took so many lives, but I have attempted to explain in so many fora that Boko haram is not what it used to be. While they were firmly holding 14 out of 774 local governments when we came in, they are not holding any local government now. What they have resorted to is using improvised explosive devices to cause maximum casualties on soft targets as they did yesterday,” he said.

Know2020: This country is finished!
Let me see the twit that will invoke GEJ. GEJ left office with naira to dollar at 210 and today it's 313. WTF? GEJ inherited naira to dollar from Yaradua at 165, it stayed at this rate +/-15 for 4 yrs, it was only towards the end of 2014 that we began to see fall in naira largely caused by those who are bent on sabotaging his achievements to make sure he doesn't get re-elected. Compare dollar to naira lost in value under GEJ from 165 to 210 within 4-5 yrs span...that's very reasonable. However under Buhari from 210-313 in barely 6 months? This is disastrous...an invitation to anarchy. Same goes for fuel scarcity, there was never a fuel scarcity under GEJ except for his last few months in office, again largely perpetrated by the same very savages who are bent on making sure he never got re-elected.
You noticed how yorubas are quiet all of a sudden? Because their sister Kemi Adeosun is at the helm of the finance. Had this drastic dollar free fall happened under Iweala? Oh lord...they will be calling for her head not even resignation. They are already making excuses for Fashola to downplay the expectations on him...see 3rd topic now on front page. Hypocrites! I no fit talk again. People say that 9months is too short for Buhari to effect change. So who should we hold responsible for the rapid fall of Naira ? |
