Informed Rivers people know how much this Wike stole when he was local govt chairman and later chief of staff to Amaechi. The federal government of Buhari is not oblivious of the looting in ministry of education under Wike. I will never support Amaechi or anyone else for corruption but all Wike's supporters should tell the whole world how he became so stupendously rich, where he got the billions he lavished on his campaign. It's easy to point accusing fingers. The worst governor any state will ever have is Peter Odili but the pdp in Rivers state hardly remembers him. As we speak today, there's absolutely nothing to remember his administration except for billboards all over Port Harcourt then. There are landmarks to Amaechi's credit; from roads rehabilitation to primary health care to primary and secondary schools infrastructure improvement to electricity substations etc. If not for Amaechi, there will be no motorable road today leading to Owerri, a federal road. Out of their wicked hearts, Jonathan and his wife made sure that money was never refunded to Rivers state during Amaechi's tenure. Talking of empty treasury is bulls**t. An aircraft does not generate revenue by parking at the airport. Amaechi increased rivers state IGR more than any other state in the entire south except Lagos. He did not stop the IGR when he left office. He did not stop the federal allocation to Rivers when he left. If Wike luckily survives the electoral tribunal, he should focus on the job of governance and allow efcc or whatever to address the allegations against Amaechi. Ka Chineke mezie okwu.

See, you can try as much as possible to paint Amaechi in positive light, but the truth is that he's very corrupt and he has a case to answer. He looted Rivers State treasury . For instance he spent18 bn naira for a mere carnival when workers have not been paid for months.
I believe you are well informed about Rivers state. Do you know how much the state is owing or rather how much debt has Amaechi incurred ?
You speak so much about Wike to take our minds off Amaechi. I'm sure you will shocked to hear how much Amaechi has in his accounts.

Greetings to all Nairalanders, I feel very sad and angry to write this and also to warn everyone to be careful of who to trust when it comes to Job seeking.

On 28th of July, 2015, I was job hunting on nairaland as usual when I came across an urgent vacancy for an administrative manager for a video production firm. I contacted the OP almost immediately from the contact he posted, after much inquiries and discussion over the phone, he asked if I could meet him at his office that same day to which I obliged and after meeting, he concluded I should start work on 3rd of august 2015.

Prior to the date I was supposed to resume, I had 2 other job offers which I forgo because this particular one was closer to my place of residence than the rest. I went to the office at the supposed resumption date all dressed up at the agreed time to find the place locked up, I waited for about 2hrs while calling my employer but he did not take my calls. After this agonizing 2hrs of waiting, he sent me a text that he was in a meeting and very busy, I waited some more time before finally leaving. After then, I have been calling him and he gave different kind of stories and excuses even stopped responding to my calls and messages but all proved I am not having the Job again after losing my other Options.

Presently, to say I feel hurt is an understatement. I wont publish the name of the company or the guy himself but I have handed him over to the almighty God who is the supreme Judge. May God judge him. Please friends, be very careful who you trust, dont ever forgo any opportunity for another even when its sure you got it.

You won't publish is name and that of the company but rather choose to hand everything to God
