Op, don't Quit abruptly. You should have a good plan especially if you have dependents or have no one you can depend on. But life itself is full of risks. However, there are few exceptions. I know of someone who was frustrated out of work. I mean, he was so frustrated that the best thing for him to do was to resign. He resigned and he's now a consultant. He's even earning more in his present vocation.

Sports › Re: Did Messi Deserve The World Cup Golden Ball? by vislabraye(m): 6:50am On Jul 14, 2014
Anuoluwap: no. Collect it from him and give it to Mr. Diver Robben. If not for the laziness of the rest of argentine team it would have been a beta story. Coz it's obvious they only rely on messi in fact they wouldn't have gone this far if messi wasn't among. Now, you talk mueller where have you seen him single-handedly win a match for them. How many man of the match awards has mueller gotten since the start of the world cup? You don't just make emotional-driven judgements. Cause you don't like a player doesn't justify a player.
. Mascherano was better than Messi is this WC. But wait a minute, you say the who Argentine team were lazy huh
Sports › Re: Did Messi Deserve The World Cup Golden Ball? by vislabraye(m): 6:47am On Jul 14, 2014
shymexx: I'm on a website now checking all those who have won it in the past. And it seems only Schillaci and Diego Forlan have won it without playing in the final at Italia 90 and South Africa 2010 respectively. But they made the semis(that should disqualify Rodriguez). And I believe most football heads should know why. They both had outstanding tournaments and were by far the best players at those tournaments. Robben wasn't the best player at this tournament.
. If Robben wasn't the best, how much more MEssi ? Messi was good but not spectaculAr. There were players who did more than him.

mamagee3: I was angry and then I read that Adidas were the sponsors. . .

Messi is their star player, he's the one who sells for them. . .I don't think they would have given it to someone else. This award is so biased .

That's like Nike sponsoring or giving out the golden ball, of course they will award it to ronaldo.grin

But we as neutrals know Muller should have won it
. But Schweinstiger endorses Adidas.
Sports › Re: Did Messi Deserve The World Cup Golden Ball? by vislabraye(m): 12:07am On Jul 14, 2014
jomoh: guy they were not looking for a leader. They were looking for the player with the most outstanding contribution to his teams success.
. And you think Mascherano's contribution wasn't outstanding ? I would rate De Maria and Mascherano above Messi.
Sports › Re: Did Messi Deserve The World Cup Golden Ball? by vislabraye(m): 12:02am On Jul 14, 2014
flyingdutchman: Against Nigeria, who SINGLE-HANDEDLY make his team win? Against Iran? However, I feel Arjen Robben deserves the Golden Ball. FIFA only compensated Messi for all the burden and pressure heaped on him to emulate Maradona. FIFA realizes that "a tree does not make a forest"...not even a Magical tree like Messi...Roanldo will probably be reeling with laughter now.
. I can imagine Ronaldo laughing. FIFA has a poor sense of judgment.

fingard02k: NO oya go collect the award from him and give it to mikel

Nonsense people always hating on another man's success
. What is hating there ? Can someone air his views ? Roben deserves it cos he was outstanding. Or it could have gone to a German player but not Messi.

mikeansy: Like someone previously said Keshi/Oliseh should be a good combo. They should both keep their egos aside and work together

If Keshi is too much of a big head let's give it to Oliseh. I am confident he will deliver

Football is not rocket science, you either got it or u don't!

The current Swansea coach was a central defender and captain of the side and took over after Michael Laudrop was sacked! He did alright in my view.
. They can't work together because of ego.

Keshi is good. He's not perfect but he needs some assistant. The post should atleast acknowledge his strengths.

yoji: I agree with u. Am surprised someone would ignore a stat that says Germany has almost 3 times the average completed passes in the tournament just for the sake of arguing. Also ignoring that lahm and kroos who play under pep at club level are the top passes in the tournament .
Germany also adopted the false 9 option synonymous with tiki taka by taking only 1 out and out striker to the world cup i.e klose since mueller plays anywhere across the frontline.
It's pathetic when someone points to a lost match by barca or peps bayern as reason for the systems demise as if the players are not human anymore. The win percentage would b more appropriate.
All the noise about the system being dead conveniently ignores that pep won the league in record time, not forgetting the cup.
Also people make it look as if jupp heynkes bayern was perfect forgetting that there were almost serial losers until their fortunes changed. There were constantly waxed by dortmund and even lost the champs league final to chelsea in their backyard and lost the cup and league to dortmund that same year.
The only difference is that Germany attacked quicker while Spain wore out the opponent waiting for that play guaranteed the goal. Come to think of it, from loews perspective, if u have a team dominated by players that play a successful system, your work will have been made easier.
. Bayern were almost serial losers until their fortune changed huh Are you for real? You call a team that won the CL before Pep took over serial losers ? A team that has reached the finals on 3 different occasions are serial losers ? For your info, Bayern won a treble before Pep came in. Pep is a good coach but let's admit it, he inherited an established team. He didn't change the fortune of Bayern let alone the German national team.

mikeansy: This is ridiculous

We want to suggest that Guardiola who has been in a job for just 12 months is the reason why Germany are making progress?

Joachim Loew and Jurgen Klinsman started this project 10 years ago

Lothar Matheus can say what he likes but when Germany destroyed England and Argentina at the last World Cup they did not do so defending

The only thing I will say Joachim Loew has tried to copy from Guardiola is using ThomAs muller as false number 9. It also helps that a lot of key players for Germany play for bayern Munich but to suggest that the reason Germany are in the finals is because of pep arrival 12 months ago is just ridiculous! Nothing can be further from the truth!
. Thank you. That's the point I'm trying to bring out.
Sports › Re: Tiki Taka Rules The World By Sunday Oliseh by vislabraye(op): 1:57pm On Jul 13, 2014
thegoodjoehunt: Are you saying you know Bayern Munich or Germany more then Lothar Matthaeus?

He is the former captain of both the German and Bayern Munich team. You can argue with Luthar Matthaeus about aerial balls or shots from range.

By the way, Fabre gas shoots from far. So does Xavi and Iniesta. Carzola can shoot from far. Jordi Alba and Azpilicueta are good with crosses. Diego Costa is good with aerial balls. David Silva shoots from far. So I do not get your logic.
. You said former captain !!! This present coach knows better about this German team.
Sports › Re: Is This The Worst Brazilian Side Ever? by vislabraye(m): 1:50am On Jul 13, 2014
shymexx: That won't stop anything if there's a system and style in place. Ever wondered why certain Brazilian players, who were top scorers in Europe never used to make the Brazilian team? Mario Jardel? Elber?

C'mon a lot of German players play with flair, that's lacking in this generation of Brazilian players, and they're Europeans. It's about the system and style you want, not where the player plays.
. I remember Mario Jardel and Giovanni Elber. But you can't blame them because you had the phenomenon at his best. It was hard not to choose him.
Sports › Re: Is This The Worst Brazilian Side Ever? by vislabraye(m): 1:44am On Jul 13, 2014
shymexx: At least they were the most interesting team at that tournament. That team had a lot of great players and played with flair the Brazilian way.

Sometimes, it isn't about winning, it's about protecting a tradition.
. Tradition at the expense of winning ??

HisMajesty1: I don't think so. I feel they are just unlucky.

Sports › Re: Tiki Taka Rules The World By Sunday Oliseh by vislabraye(op): 1:31am On Jul 13, 2014
thegoodjoehunt: Luther Matthaeus, former Captain of Germany and Bayern Munich credits Guardiola for having a hand Jun the success of the Germans.

He knows a lot about Bayern. Sometimes, we do not argue and learn. That is how we gain understanding.

Also remember when the Germans played The Spaniards at the 2010 World Cup, they defended.

After Guardiola massacred Bayern at Allianz arena, Van Gaal was brought in and the Tiki Taka transition started.
. Does Real Madrid play the tiki taka football? Does Athletico Madrid play tiki taka football ? The German team is this successful because they are young and have played for4 years together. The fuNny thing is that a lot of good teams have develop a sort of anti dote to this tiki taka system. Although the German plays the ball on the ground most times, they are also very good in aerial balls which Barca and Spain lacks. They can take outside shots and throw long passes. The German plays similar football to the Dutch.
Sports › Re: Tiki Taka Rules The World By Sunday Oliseh by vislabraye(op): 1:13am On Jul 13, 2014
thegoodjoehunt: It is not about a performance in one or two games. It is about the performance in a long run. Bayern Munich began the season, pursuing 5 trophies. They won 4 of the trophies and lost one. That is a fantastic result for a system.
. Bayern Munich has been doing consistently well in CL before the arrival of Pep. When they demolished Barca , they didn't use Barca's tiki taka football. Tiki taka has its advantages, no doubt about it but a lot of teams are becoming used to the system.
