Foreign Affairs › Re: BREAKING: Uganda Supreme Court Strike Down Anti-gay Law. by vislabraye(m): 3:14pm On Aug 01, 2014
Symphony007: It gives me great joy that there are still countries in africa with a judiciary that does it job without sentiments or personal feelings. No country on earth can have a constitution which protects fundamental human rights then go ahead to criminalize freedom of expression. It is ridiculous and no judiciary will stand for that. Nigeria should take note. Our supreme court must strike down ours if it gets to their desk. If our governments wants it's anti gay law to stand, then it should do a constitutional amendment were fundamental human rights is removed then a law like that can stand. But you can't claim to protect human rights and put people in jail for living their lives because you don't like how they do it. It's a mockery of constitutional democracy. You can't eat your cake and have it.
Homosexuality is an anormally no matter how reasonable the argument may sound. If you want to legalise it then, bestiality should be legalised.

The thing here is that the homosexuals have become bullies to force down their beliefs down the throat of everyone. No one is born gAy and I don't think you would want your child to be gay, if you do, goodluck to you.

Romance › Re: Things Ladies Must Know About Guys. The Truth! by vislabraye(m): 11:40pm On Jul 30, 2014
LaurelP: This is based on my own experience as a man, I didn't copy it from anywhere so anybody is free to air there view or counter me. Dis is a public forum so I no send grin

Now there are many things ladies don't know abt us guys. Dis has led to a lot of misconception and disenchantment from both sex. I read a lot of comments here and I realise dat most ladies don't know anything about d makeup of a man. I believe dat the ladies will learn a lot if they realize some basic truth about us.

1.Men don't want only sex from you: many ladies believe or think dat d only thing guys want from dem is sex. Dis is why they go into a relationship with dat resource only as wat they are bringing on board hoping dat the guy will do anything for dem as long as he's getting sex. Dis is wrong. Men may like sex but its not d only thing they like or want in a relationship. A guy needs a lady who will understand him, who can stand by him and encourage him to reach his full potential, who can spur him on and always remind him dat he can make it no matter all odds. A lady who can come into his life and put things right dat were wrong, dat can get him to be organised and focused, dat can walk with him on d street, dat can smile and laugh at his jokes, dat can play with him and have a gud time with him, dat can love his family and respect him as a man. Some things are just more important than sex to guys.

2. It takes effort to woo a lady: ladies if u don't know it, know it now! Its not easy for a guy to stop a lady and share how he feels about her. It takes a lot of guts and also humility to do dat. Men are naturally egoistic and don't like anything dat puts dem down or make dem look like they're begging especially when it comes to ladies. Understand dat dis is natural and not dat they enjoy acting dat way, its a result of both nature and nurture.
Before a guy approaches u as a lady, many things must have gone thru his mind. How best to make d move, wat to say, how to say it, hwo to smile and all dat. Dis cud take minutes or days or weeks or even months depending on d guy involved and d urgency. Some guys go thru sleepless nites thinking abt how to approach a particular lady, its not easy. And atimes, d lady will still turn dem down and once dis happens, it becomes more difficult for him to repeat d cycle again. So ladies, when a guy approaches u pls don't put him down like u usually do. Find a way to help preserve his confidence and also pay him back for his effort cos it takes effort. If u don't like him, turn him down softly!

3. Guys are more emotional dan u think: forget all d macho and strong man dat most guys put on d surface. Guys are much more soft and emotional dan they tend to present on d outer surface, even more dan ladies atimes. We cry, we fall in love, we get depressed atimes, we get frustrated. And the worst is dat we hardly show it or speak out for people to help. Becos of upbringing where guys are expected to absorb tension, we just bottle a lot of things up and keep dying inside. It takes a wise lady to unbottle these tensions and bring out the best in a guy.

4.Guys like spending money on ladies: Yes I said so! On the right ladies though. Once a guy loves you, he won't mind spending his last kobo on you. A guy can buy his girl Mr Biggs and go home to soak garri. Its not becos he's mumu or sth, its just how he values the lady in question. Guys love with their resources and their whole heart. Unfortunately, many ladies believe dat a guy who gives to a lady like dat is a fool or mumu. That's why many of us now withdrew because one of d worst things u can ever do to a guy is to tamper with his ego, to make him feel like a fool when he was loving you. Dats why a guy can love his girl and give her everything even while abandoning his own family and siblings.

5. Guys love sex: yes dis is true. Guys love sex not becos they just feel like loving it, but becos they are wired to love it. A healthy man gets erection even when he doesn't want to. Even when a man is sleeping, he gets erection without realising it. Just seeing a lady he likes can give a man erection and dat is how God made it. Its just dat some guys do a good job of controlling it dan others and u must respect those dat do so cos its not easy. So when next u want to knw why guys like sex, I suggest u ask God!

6.Guys are easy to manipulate: guys feel dat its their duty to help ladies. Most guys would fight their fellow men just to defend a lady. I once saw a guy slap his fellow guy just becos he said he would slap a lady! Guys are always d one who compromise for ladies and its natural. Even in d family, guys always feel its their duty to protect their sisters. Its easy to know wat a guy likes and doesn't like so it makes it easy to control and manipulate dem by d ladies. Once u give a guy wat he likes, he will do anything for you.

I will stop here to allow people contribute...
. Op there's some truth to what you are saying, but these qualities are so common in average man. Time and time again I see men doing favor for women who don't really worth it. They subconsciously want to look good so they could get something back in return ie, a future date. 2) InitiaLly, it takes a man great effort to woo a lady especially if he's not so experience. I can strike up a conversation with a lady as if she's my long time pal and she'll flow. Truth is that, though women are blessings to men, I don't take them more than I should.

fidet: Why shouldn't I blame people for reducing their ages to have undue benefits? So you mean the end justifies the means.
I try to figure out somethings. A man of 28 years has the same grade as some one of 22. But he is denied the opportunity just because of age and nothing more. So what's the advantage of recruiting someone 2 to 6 years younger ?

But when it comes to sports especially age category competition, its a different ball game entirely.
You know why I like Shell and Chevron ? Because they are equal opportunity employers.

Initially I thought you were going to give us tips on how you can collect your debts. Lol.

I have had people owe me before. There's really no strategy on getting them to pay you back especially if the person lacks integrity.

As a rule of thumb, I don't lend to someone what I cannot forfeit. Alternatively, the key is to pester and threaten the person. If you know the person's pastor or religious leader who he respects, report him to theM.

fidet: She's probably 19 in 2007. But why do many Nigerians lie about their ages? Students, job seekers, civil servants, footballers, politicians and now the MBGN. And small time, people go de complain say our leaders corrupt, the rot is everywhere.
As for job seekers you shouldn't blame them. If you have your own business or is doing well financially, why lie about your age ?

@topic : but is it not too absurb for her to reduce her age to 19? If 22, it's still within the age range ?
Sports › Re: Should Kelech Iheanacho Take Over The No 10 Jersey From Mikel Now? by vislabraye(m): 11:44pm On Jul 28, 2014
robosky02: Kelechi Iheanacho sizzled as he capped an impressive senior debut for Manchester City with a goal in their 4-1 rout of Sporting Kansas City.

Iheanacho, latched onto a cutback from Jesus Navas on top of the box and stroked home with calm composure and precision.

The 17-year-old deservedly took man-of-the-match honours after a performance that embodied class, ease of movement, quick thinking and impeccable passing.

"Iheanacho. Watch out for that name. You're going to be hearing that name for a long time to come. Eye catching display," was the drooling comments from the ESPN commentators post game.

Iheanacho was the star performer as Nigeria's Under-17 team won the World Cup last year, and was the target of Europe's top clubs before signing for City.

with this stand out parformance by Iheanacho at the highest level of football not looking intimidated. And with the fact that Mikel since 2005 refuse to give us a joy with that jaysey.

can we now say we have found a worthy successor to the nigerian no 10 JAYSEY that was once used by JAYJAY okocha, ETIM ESSIEN that made other countries dred us.

what is your take do we retire Mikel now and give IHEANACHO the 10 jaysey
or we keep waiting.....
PEople are funny Oh!! So Iheancho should replace Mikel Obi just based on one watch he played. That's rather too early. Iheancho stiLl has a lot to learn. In 1 to 2 years from now, his game would have significantly improved b4 he thinks of a first team shirt.

kmcutez: How did all these people become the head of their various establishment?
. In the corporate world, leadership is based on certain criteria such as experience, qualification or even man-know-man. But in marriage, the man is always the head. Just look at Abraham and Sarah ( if you believe the Bible ).

Relationship101: Kudos to all the women (and men) that are standing up against domestic abuse. Africans have experienced a large dose of abuse (especially to the women) and we need to stand up against this devilish act. I lopve women. They are queens. They are strong, energetic, important and compassionate. Damn! Did I forget to mention that they are sexy?
.....................

BUT*clears throat* for those idiots that think men are the HEAD which automatically place women somewhere beneath, I pray you fall into river niger and drown (fortunately for you, that isn't going to happen) but I still wish bad for you. To all those stupid women that has been brainwashed into thinking that they need to be beaten, harassed or maltreated for them to BE a woman, I pray you go to hell fire. You have lost your sense of becoming 'yourself'. You've sold your soul to an ideology that is contrary to the ethics of being a human being. To all those clergy that preaches 'submission' to women. I come against you with all my might. You have destroyed our women. You have made our wife remain in an abusive home simply because they need to be submissive to their fucking husband. What actually is submission? Is it the 21st century term for slavery. Woe unto you! You have made the teenagers in my street think that they need to FEAR men and give them respects they don't deserve simply because they are men.

Marriage is not a hierarchy of positions. It is partnership. It is BEING together. It is LOVE. It is kissing all night by the moon light without any thought for tomorrow. Women are not baby making machines. Their DUTY is not to be used.

A marriage without children can also be a sweet marriage if both parties agree together. Don't call the woman witch. (Yes I am talking to you the useless in-laws). Go get a job and stay away from peoples life. Women pride is my pride. Women courage is my courage. Women freedom is my freedom. I love women.
. May you find someone who will pray for you to go to Hell and may you bare your wife's name.
Politics › Re: For Those Of Us Seriously Beating The Drum Of War. Is This What We Really Want? by vislabraye(m): 11:15pm On Jul 26, 2014
War is not jamboree oh !! Many people here were not born during the civil war. May be they should ask their parents or uncles. There are people still suffering from the aftermath of the last civil war.

That is why people should condemn the activities of BH. I am surprised that some sects were quick to condemn the killing of the Palestines by the Israeli. This is just crazy. It tells you that these people support the killings by BH and all the atrocities. That's the propblem we have in this country.

No body has the monopoly over violence.

kekakuz: another long slave story.
they were not allowed to eat goat which they prepared for their Yoruba masters daily.
when oranmiya finally liberated them.the only thing they feel like eating was ewu(goat)
but they are afraid the their masters will know because ewure (goat) is the special meat of the Yoruba masters.

so they shorten ewure to ewu as a form of disguise yet the are afraid the yourubas will still know because they are great in knowledge.
so the used ewi meaning rat.
they felt their Yoruba lords will not be angry if they heard that they are eating rat.(rat who cares lol)
that is how rats saved them from slavery and that settlement was named nnewi for we were saved by the rats.
till this day, people of nnewi don't eat Bush rat but they don't mind eating house rat as that is the only way they can secretly eat rat.

I hope you learnt the truth.
. Hmmm.... Wonders will never end.

The impeaching might be justified but all I'm saying is that if this man truly give a damn for the Nigerian masses he should find a way to stop these terrorist.

And anyone I mean anyone whether from north or otherwise that want to get in power by all means possible doesn't have the best interest of the people in mind!

Phones › Re: Important Information On MTN SME Data Share Service Purchased From Others by vislabraye(m): 2:15pm On Jul 24, 2014
luluosas: Update On MTN SME Data Share Service:

Hello fellow Nairalanders,
A lot of people today are into reselling MTN SME Data Share bundles business including my humble self, which is a sort of succor to Android, Windows, iOS and USB Modem Internet subscription users, as you now get more data volume for less as compared to what MTN is offering on their HSI platform. A welcome development I must tell you.

However, I would like to point out two things you may not be aware on this MTN SME Data Share bundles, especially as you usually bought this data bundles from initial subscribers of this product. I am not trying to ask you to patronize me but it is a good thing you should know about this.

1. The data bundle you subscribed from someone DOES NOT carry a 30 days validity as we earlier made you to believed.
The life cycle of the bit-by-bit shared/sold data volume is tied to the 30 days validity available on the total given data volume by MTN. Let's say I bought my data bundle from MTN on the 13th of July, 2014, and you in turn bought some from me today 23rd July, 2014, your validity will be till 13th August, 2014, as against 23rd, August, 2014. With this scenario, the data sold out in bits by subscribers do not enjoy a separate validity period outside the parent data bundle from where you got your share.
Therefore, should you desire to use any reseller here, please ask them the day they purchase their data so that you wouldn't fall a victim of expecting your plan to expire in 30 days' time, but only be disconnected or your airtime wipe out in 2 days as the validity period of your reseller expires. Every genuine businessman and GOD fearing fellow should be able to tell you this truth. I hope you understand.
To check your data balance dial *461*7# or text Sharebalance to 131.

2. You can't make multiple subscription on the same MTN line from different resellers when you still have some data volume in your account from your previous subscription.
For those of you that may be thinking of extending your validity period by buying multiple data bundles on your line, please take note that any amount of data you purchased does not have any separate life cycle outside its mother's life cycle, which automatically rule out your attempts of extending the lifespan of your data bundles. If you are making a multiple purchases from the same person on the same line, your validity period will be tied to the same date of the parent validity, and you can only have your validity period extended if your provider have bought a new data plan from MTN.
But to make another subscription from a different reseller is NOT POSSIBLE when you still have left-over data volume in your account. To change your current reseller probably due to price differences, you just have to exhaust your old data plan before doing so. I hope you got it clear.

The scenario above was discovered as both a reseller and a subscriber, and therefore speaking to you from a practical point of view.

Just a reminder:
Before you buy your next subscription from any reseller, please ask them the date they purchased their current plan. It is very very important.
Also bear it in mind that the data volumes you buy from any reseller DOES NOT have any 30 days validity period. Its validity is between 1 to 30 days, depending on the date your reseller purchased his data bundles from MTN.

Thank you for reading.
. Nice info. But everything about MTN get k-leg.
