huntila:Someone mentioned that it was a seminar and there were members of the Press present. Who then to believe? But I do get your point. as for Hollywood, celebs like Lisa Dunham and De Niro addressed the matter publicly afterwards on why they changed their minds - and yes, a lot of people still criticised them. Believe me, the American public are some of the most critical and outspoken bunch of humans on earth. But to start another round of media tirade - and insults is most unbecoming for a man of his stature and calibre brother |
Baba Soyinka....Bye!!!! |
repogirl:Bless you sis. You couldn't have said it any better. Everyone should just move on and he should stop calling press conferences. The story will die a natural death. He made a promise. For reasons best known to him (which may be personal), he couldn't go through with it. No biggie. Everyone should just move on jare |
huntila:I guess people would definitely have minded their business if he kept such "personal" issues ti himself at the time. But no, he chose to make it public thinking, like majority of the world, Mrs Clinton would win. @ topic: personally, I think at this point Baba is just embarrassing himself. I am actually surprised that he is going on and on about this and giving more avenue to fuel this fire. Carry your Foundation out of the country if you will sir. It hasn't benefited me in any way in the past and I doubt it will do so in the future. |
henryhemon:Clearly you forget the prices are In dollars so irrespective of the duties we pay, what we now pay for such "cheap" cars, are no longer same. |
Broadsway I think you are putting way too much thought and energy into it and by doing so, all u build in your mind is a level of perfection (which ideally does not exist). Give yourself some time. You need to work on yourself first. Build your self esteem, love yourself. Allow love happen when it would happen organically. Every good thing takes time. As for breakups, we have all been there. What matters is how we let it affect us going forward (ps: most Naija guys are not even worth the heartache and tears). So perk up girl, you will be fine |
ritababe:They still import most of their 'parts. Laudable as their achievements are, they still operate more like an assembly plant. And most Nigerians still can't afford brand new - their prices are way above N2m. |
Mentorkaryhm:Not really. We actually import a lot of the brands you see in the market today and even with that, demand still outweighs supply. Besides, Dangote still faces the same extinuating circumstances other few local manufacturers suffer such as the tomato scarcity issue that happened over the summer. If I remember correctly, he almost shut down this plant. |
Prices of already cleared Tokunbo vehicles will skyrocket. This will also affect the demand for Nigerian used and hence, that will sky rocket too. Dunno anyone personally who still buys new cars with dollar price right now. Checked the price of 2016 Toyota Corolla...Omo, I gats to run away! ![]() |
veekid:No now. The first wife. They were embroiled in a messy divorce but I think it's sorted now. This is the new lady in his life. |
To the best of my knowledge, Lilian hasn't filed for divorce yet and still uses his surname. This is a sign that he should rally trusted fam members, throw aside pride and go and beg her family. At the end of the day, that's what most women want - to feel loved and cared for. Instead of displaying a pity-party on social media so we do what?! |
Terver23: Oya finish the matter na |
iamkingzlee:Kingsley! Kingsley!!! Kingsley!!!! How many times have I called you? Eh...hen. Mind yaself o. Wetin concern me with Jigawa na ![]() |

mhiz:You are so right. Those ones that even represented on an international level. Even Agbani that isn't married yet, never stoops this low to have her love life peddaled about on social media or rag magazines. I actually envied Dabota when she got married. Its a pity she couldn't keep it. All these ones are nothing but local champions. ![]() |
Noblethony:Oh my God, I am so sorry. Was he dehydrated or what? ![]() |

Smellymouth:You this guy, you are a troublemaker o ![]() @ Post: didn't he say he was in his house sleeping at the time of the so called theft? He forgot about that little invention called camera phone. |
crazymommy:Toke Makinwa and 2 members of the Mavin crew have NL accounts. That's all I can say for now. |
His name could not be ascertained yet he left an international passport and visa issued to him on the floor. Naija journalism! RIP sir, I guess the true cause of your suicide will never be known. |
tosyne2much:Tosin! Tosin! Today is Sunday o! No dey lie o! After all the multiple times I rejected you for dirty boxers issue u came here to lie. Is that how you used to do?! ![]() |
MrPresident1 you started well and I read the entire post then got to the point where you chastised someone and made a statement about Obama not handing over to Trump come Jan 20. Pls how did that correlate with the entirety of your earlier biblical interpretation ? I mean, I know the answer you may give me going by the flow of the gist, but really? I mean seriously sir? Trump / Obama? Ok, let me ask this question, what happens if Obama does hand over to Trump? Will it negate all you typed? No! Hence, the flaw in your final assumption. shotster50 thank you! You couldn't have said it better. |
Babacele:No, I didn't |
handsomeclouds:It started on Tuesday and ended on Thursday. No one said anything about today. Read! Read! |
Babacele:I lie? ![]() |
