They are other soup thickners too. But when u talk about oha or bitterleaf soup, then ede is the best option.
Achi is cheap but grossly thick, without enough pepper you might puke ur guts out after eating it.
Ukpo....... Oh bad idea, ur soup will turn black like an azz over night.
Ofor..... The same thing. All these thickners are cheap that's why people opt for them.

DailyNews: I can repeat what I said again and again and we all can search our hearts and know the truth. Your opinions about me don't border me anymore cos I know myself, and I know who I am, and if most of u had d opportunity to meet me, u will be shocked, so keep those condemnation for another fellow not DailyNews.

Before I joined nairaland, I was a guest after I was introduced to it by a sibling basically to promote my literary works, and fondly he (the brother that introduced me) told me that I can as well get a nice girl from there since I am single n don't like mixing with females in real life (I have to be honest), n we laughed.

I asked him how is it possible to find a date on a forum, he said nothing is impossible, that maybe I should share a story abt my real self n that it will sure attract some to be my frnd from there...

I argued with him that disclosing my real personality may attract the wrong person, so I later decided to frame up some stories abt myself to make me look poor and pitiable to know who is who.

The thread is still here. I tried mixing it up with some truth abt me, but the aim was to paint myself as a poor dude who needs a girl who can cope with a guy that has no money and base.

That story opened my eyes to the kind of people we have on this forum, and it forms my basis for judging most here as people. Believe me, 190 is amongst the few real guys here. He wrote me a PM, the first guy that did that.

Few girls did also sent me PMs to show concern anyway.

Let me cut the long story short.

But as days roll by, I couldn't keep up with my disguised identity cos I am not good at double-playing, and again after I initiated the Young Authors of Nigeria (YAN) thread which meant I should surface in person to meet other intending members. It was YAN issue that made me to show my real self when I had to fly down to Enugu to attend our first official YAN-south-east meeting.

let's leave the rest story....

Y telling this long story? To alert everyone on nairaland that this place is filled with people with different: good and bad motives. Just mind urself, and be cautious, and if at all remain faceless cos there are very very few real and honest people with good intention on this forum. I was even shocked that a member of YAN who knew me n saw me in person at Enugu and even knew how much in spent for that YAN project without asking anyone a dime n was even ready to do more, decided to just blackmail me here on nairaland that I wanted to defraud people, that I ate ppl money that wasn't even up to my fly t to enugu. Some nairalanders are addicts, they fun they catch here sometimes make them drowsy n start acting mumurish just to get applaud n to feel popular for no financial gain or even reason. Too bad

Sweetlemon the way u had been mistreated here inspired me to open up on this issue to let u understand that this forum is filled with hatred, anger, jobless folks, frustration, good, fun-seeking people and all. Just beware and avoid sharing your success stories here. U can frame up stories of how u had been sleeping with diff men and how sweet they are, and how u had been hrt broken, that's what they love to hear, and u will see them making u their best friend.

Try it, u can get another handle to carry out the experiment n see.
