This world (Africa in particular)is so wicked and cruel to the female folks. How can one explain the fact that it is only in africa that a man gets to kill/hit his wife/girlfriend if he catches her cheating and still kills/hit the same wife/ girlfriend if she catches him cheating? Thank goodness for this VAAP bill that was passed recently, if properly executed, it will go a long way in stopping this "high lord" mentality of some folks. RIP girlfriend, You are a victim of this cruelty, pray never to meet such men in your next life. |

I admire the yoruba traditional attires. They look colourful and magnificient, but i don't think somebody like me will fare well wearing them. They look heavy and too complex for me. They look cool though. 4 Likes |

Wow wow... I really do not know what to say, wow. I will not pretend to know what and how you are feeling right now but i do know this: It is what it is. No matter how high the tide is, if it doesn't kill one, it makes one stronger. Be strong, nothing is constant in life. You might choose to do something today and another thing the next day, it's your life. Though your actions may affect others but at the end, they will get over it. This is becoming very interesting. Something of this sort happened to a beautiful handsome friend of mine in school. He told me he was going to "maga" a wealthy gay man that asked him out and when he gets too serious, he would tell him off by telling him he is as straight as straight can ever be. He was lucky because the gay guy decided to move on and forget his deceit. I'm guessing Yul was trying to play dirty and at the same time "maga" him not knowing what he was getting himself into. Maybe if he had known this young man would blow things out of proportion, he wouldn't have ventured into it, and now things have really gone haywire. I might be wrong though, afterall it was all a guess. One thing i know for sure is this: I don't wish to be him right now 3 Likes |

[b] In answer to your question, I have this question: When is it right to hit your mother?. Someone rightly said that it's never just to beat up someone you are physically stronger than. Hitting a woman is not justifiable the same way it is with hitting someone you are obviously stronger than. If it is not a fair fight, it's an abuse. Some guys are claiming that woman beating is justifiable if you are trying to reset her brain when she misbehaves, Who resets the man's brain when he misbehaves?. With the exception of self defence, which is rare, beating up someone you are physically stronger than is wrong. There are many ways to punish someone. Until you deem it just to beat up your mother, woman beating is an unjustifiable abuse. Finally, when the wind blows, we get to see the fowl's anus. It's good we have this type of topic on homepage, with some comments here, ladies can see that some potential wife beaters are lurking somewhere out there.
