There was confusion and fear at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana (KNUST) after students saw a lady seated in the middle of a campus river named “Bibini River”
According to a video circulated on social media, a young lady dressed in a blue overall attire was seen sitting quietly in the Bibini River on their campus.

According to Voice of KNUST which reported the incident on their Twitter handle, the girl was in the water for six hours, an incident that spread all over the campus like wildfire.

Large sections of students were gripped in fear.

But it was later, Voice of KNUST revealed that the rather mysterious show was just an artwork that was part of a project being undertaken by some post-graduate students of the school.

Osinachi Nwachukwu brutalised by husband before her death — Singer alleges


Famous Nigerian gospel musician Osinachi Nwachukwu’s passing on Friday, which shocked many, has sparked controversies with new claims made about her marriage.

The singer, who shot into the limelight with the hit “ Ekwueme “, which has been watched 72 million times on YouTube, died in an Abuja hospital.
She was a lead singer at the Dunamis International Gospel Centre. She was featured in several popular gospel songs like “Nara Ekele” by Pastor Paul Enenche ( Dunamis , Abuja) and “You no dey use me play” by Emma.
Her family and husband, Peter Nwachukwu, who doubled as her manager, are yet to issue a statement.

However, close friends and associates have suggested that her violent union led to her untimely death.

On Saturday, her colleague, Frank Edwards, alleged that the late singer had an abusive husband, who regularly brutalised her before she died.

Mr Edwards made the remarks in an Instagram live video.

Allegations
Frank Edwards said on several occasions, the late singer’s husband was in the habit of publicly insulting his wife, and he abused her on several occasions.

Recounting an encounter with the singer, he said, “One time in a studio, this man slapped her in the studio just because she wanted to record the song in Igbo against his will. She does not do anything on her own.”

“She would say, please beg my husband. She was at his mercy. I didn’t know the intensity of what she was going through; I didn’t know how somebody would be jealous of their wife or claim to love.

“There are a lot of stories where people told her this and that, but what I know was that the control was too much. The other time somebody wanted me to get her for an event, and I contacted her, but she said ‘beg my husband.”

The singer also alleged that the late singer’s husband was controlling and would take the money she made from events. He, however, said the singer was secretive about what she was going through in her marriage.

“She couldn’t even tell people what she was going through. I only got to know because Aunty Joy contacted me to promote her song. That was when I got a glimpse into what was happening,” he said.

“It’s crazy,” he lamented.

“People have tried to invite her for their programmes, but she will keep telling them that they must beg my husband first,” he said.

Further narrating his experiences about the late singer’s marital hurdle with her husband, he said a former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Joy Nunieh, once gifted the singer a studio in Abuja. Still, her husband never allowed her to use the studio simply because it was built without his permission.

Mr Nwachukwu could not be reached for comments Saturday. A message sent by PREMIUM TIMES to the Dunamis Church was not responded to also.

Demand for Justice
Crying out for Justice, Edward said he would go all out on social media for the first time in his career until justice was served.

“I have never had any reason to have a court case with anyone because I am a child of God, but you see this case, it won’t just go like that because she was a blessing to the world.

“I usually don’t get involved in things like this, I keep my family and personal stuff off social media, but this one hurt me,” he said.

He also said Mrs Nunieh, a lawyer, has promised to take up legal action against Mr Nwanchukwu.

The gospel singer also advised women in abusive marriages to take a long walk.

He said: “My advice is even if you are not a wife, if you are being physically abused, go back to your parent’s house.”

“I am not a married man, but I cannot advise anyone to stay where they have been physically abused. You might not get a divorce immediately. Just leave to save your life.”

Popular gospel singer, Evangelist Osinachi Nwachukwu has reportedly passed away on Friday evening in a hospital in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.


The singer, who shot to limelight after the release of “Ekwueme” by Prospa Ochimana, reportedly died of throat cancer on Friday evening, April 8, 2022.

Although her family was yet to issue a statement on her death, it was gathered that Osinachi was diagnosed of the deadly ailment and has been battling it for two months until her demise yesterday night.

Until her death, Osinachi Nwachukwu was a leading chorister at Dunamis International Gospel Centre founded by Pastor Paul Enenche.



She was a composer, servant of God and producer of Christian worship music, who has featured in some popular gospel songs including “Nara Ekele” by Pastor Paul Enenche, “Ekwueme” by Prospa Ochimana, and “You no dey use me play” by Emma.

Osinachi Nwachukwu is survived by her husband Peter and four children. She was the twin sister of “Amarachi Grace Eze, who is also a powerful singer.

Osinachi’s death comes just two weeks after her colleague, Chinedu Nwadike, 39, died of blood cancer in Abuja hospital after recovering from a kidney problem.

Man Stabbed To Death In Delta After He Won N15 Million Bet





A 27-year-old man identified as Prince Mieyebi was stabbed to death by three armed men in Warri, Delta State, after he reportedly won N15 million in a betting game.

It was gathered that the young man was killed while closing a shop belonging to his Aunt at the popular Ogbe-Ijoh market in Warri South Local Government Area of the State on November 27.

According to reports, the assailants fled with the deceased's mobile phone after stabbing him on various parts of his body. He died before he was rushed to a near-by hospital.

An uncle to the deceased, Mr. Thomas Ogisi, who confirmed the murder on Saturday, claimed that the deceased had played the betting game a week before his death with all his predictions going through to the sum of N15 million.



It was not clear if the murder is connected to the reported N15 million win as his account could not be accessed since the assailants made away with his phone.

"The boy stays with my elder sister. On that fateful day, they were in Ogbe-Ijoh market and were preparing to close when suddenly three boys blocked him in the shop and they stabbed him. The incident happened around 6pm on Friday. After stabbing him, they collected only his phone and left. Before he was rushed to the hospital, he was already dead," Mr Ogisi told Daily Independent.

"The information we are hearing from his friends indicate that he was killed because he won N15 million from a betting game. He was expecting the money to be paid to him on Wednesday before he was stabbed to death on Monday. Some of his friends were aware of the money,"

"We are demanding for justice for the gruesome killing of our son. We want thorough investigation by the police. We are not also happy with the level of security at the market." he added.

One of the Nigerian Controversial Pastors, Founder and Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministry OMF, Apostle Johnson Suleman agree with Dr Damina that God does not live in heaven.



You remember Pastor Dr Abel Damina, the founder of Abel Damina Ministries and Power City International, who last year raised a controversial statement that God does not live in heaven. According to him, if there is a day God created heaven and earth, then God must be somewhere, and wherever he is then, that is where he lives. He backed it up by quoting scripture where God says, I am the Lord; I change not. (Malachai 3:6).



Earlier today, there is a video that was uploaded on Apostle Suleman's official page, the video was tagged; 'Where does God live'? In the video, he confirmed that God does not live in heaven but God operates in heaven.

If God does not live in heaven, where does HE live?

To clear this, Apostle Suleman said in the video "In the Bible days, when Jesus was on earth literarily, when they could not find Jesus, they began to look for Him among His friends. To look for God among men is a wrong step. To look for God, you must look for Him in His Word. So God lives in his WORD
He explains that God does not live in heaven. Heaven is his office. He asks his congregation if they sleep in their offices? They echoed No? So when Jesus thought his disciples to pray, saying; Our Father, who hath in heaven... He was not saying that God lives in heaven. He was only saying that God operates in heaven he said.

He says: "The Bible said Heaven is your throne. Do you sleep on the throne? Now answer these questions. Who made Heaven? If God made Heaven, where was He living before He created Heaven? If God created the Heavens and the Earth in the beginning, He must be living somewhere.

Corps Member Slumps And Dies While Watching Football Match At Orientation Camp In Kebbi
Major-General Shuaibu Ibrahim, the Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has expressed his condolences to the family of Musa Momoh Tunde (KB/22A /2278), a corps member who died at the Orientation Camp in Dakingari, Kebbi State.

On Friday evening, March 26, late Tunde, a Public Administration graduate of the Federal Polytechnic Bida, slumped and died while watching one of the inter-platoon football matches.

In a condolence letter presented by Bar. Ahmed Tijjani, the Director-General of NYSC described corps member Musa Momoh Tunde as a young patriotic Nigerian who died while serving the country.

He urged his family to accept his death as a divine act, stating that death is unavoidable and can strike at any time.

The deceased died as a dignified young man who was ready and willing to offer his quota to national development, according to the DG, and would be remembered as a selfless and patriotic Nigerian.

Mr. Yahaya Mohammed, the deceased’s elder brother, spoke on behalf of the family, saying that the family is comforted by the fact that the dead lived a decent life and died honorably and in active service to the nation.
