Politicos: "And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works." (2 Corinthians 11:14-15)
The devil of our generation keeps glorying in the melancholy of others. I am even more perplexed at the staggering number of impressionable thoughtless nonentities who troop online to idolize him for hitherto unheard ambiguous predictions each time disaster happens.
His inglorious end will heal many tainted brains, undoubtedly.
I wish I could agree with you but verily verily I say unto you, after his exit, his sheeple will in all likelihood fill the void with another equally or worse charlatan
thehomer: What sort of ghoulish vultures are you people who support this charlattan? He made this so called prediction last year, why didn't he give the names of the perpetrators and the date that it would occur? Or was his God asleep as usual?
It is not God that was asleep, it is the IQ of his sheeple that is so low that they can't see through his shenanigans
Here is the 'prophecy'. Watch out for an edited version any moment from now. The terror attack is too big to skip
MuttleyLaff: I am salivating already, literally, in anticipation and at the prospect
Acts 10:1-30
Allow me not to quote it. Cornelius 1. One day at ~1500H in Caeserea he has a vision. He is to send to Joppa his servants to pick Peter. He does that immediately after the vision 2. The NEXT day the servants arrive in Joppa just as Peter is having a vision, and lodge with Peter for the night 3. The NEXT day they leave for Caeserea 4. The NEXT day they arrive at Cornelius'
Cornelius utters these profound words Acts 10:30 (KJV) And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing
FOUR DAYS AGO.....
Now please do me a favor and attempt to calculate how many hours passed between his vision and Peter's arrival. Thank you
MuttleyLaff: And so you cancel the word of God in order to hand down your own tradition. And this is only one example among many others. - Mark 7:13
17Then he took a cup of wine and gave thanks to God for it. Then he said, “Take this and share it among yourselves. 18For I will not drink wine again until the Kingdom of God has come.” 19He took some bread and gave thanks to God for it. Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this to remember me.” 20After supper he took another cup of wine and said, “This cup is the new covenant between God and his people —an agreement confirmed with my blood, which is poured out as a sacrifice for you. - Luke 22:17-20
Strawman argument
That exactly, is it. Except it contradicts or conflicts with the express commandment
You can burrow your head in the sand as long as you want or delude yourself by putting on the ''Emperor's New Clothes'' woven by those two weavers in that short tale by Hans Christian Andersen waiting until a child cries out, "But he isn't wearing anything at all!"
Am eagerly waiting for proof that Christmas voids ANY Law or commandment. If there is none, please and humbly withdraw your statement.
Please demonstrate how Christmans voids the Lord's Table. Are they mutually exclusive? See you can't just fish out a commandment and claim Christmas contradicts it; you need to prove it does.
MuttleyLaff: This will be interesting to watch and read
Sure hope you will dot all the i's and cross all t's whilst doing the exorcism
In light of the ''Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days'' remark how mathematically correct is this your ''Jesus died on Friday evening and resurrected on Sunday morning'' assertion
''We heard him say, 'I will destroy this Temple made with human hands, and in three days I will build another, made without human hands'' - Mark 14:58
"Look at you now!" they yelled at him. "You said you were going to destroy the Temple and rebuild it in three days. Well then, if you are the Son of God, save yourself and come down from the cross!" - Matthew 27:40
Note, I've deliberately left out Matthew 12:40, and for now, not referenced it.
My brother, You need to ACQUAINT yourself with Biblical reckoning od days, which is as commonsensical as any other. Am about to show you an EXACT time period of 72 hours in the scriptures called FOUR days. Clock OK once ready
Yes, it is the problem with men who fixed the birthday in December. It is misleading, and makes one wonder. Why? What else, is misleading, what else is misinformation, what else is false infromation
Exactly, as Jesus Himself never ordered that His birthday be fixed for December What Jesus Himself, ordered, ONLY, to do, in remembrance of Him, is the partaking of the Last Supper
That fulfilled purpose on the earth, is Christ's sacrifice of Himself, once and for all, on the cross at Golgota or Calvary
Partaking of the Last Supper is the ONLY sacrament Jesus specifically adjured believers to do
Its ''The Last Supper'' (i.e. Holy Communion aka Eucharist) which is the ONLY practice ordained by Christ to be permanently observed by believers and not some man made practice of celebrating Jesus' birth or ''the remembering Jesus' birth'' tradition of men
We cancel what is glaringly evident in Luke 22:17-20, going in pursuit of Mark 7:13
And so you cancel the word of God in order to hand down your own tradition. And this is only one example among many others. - Mark 7:13
Humanity as a matter of fact will develop behaviors and routines and habits and traditions. Traditions that void the word of God are the ones that conflict or contradict it, otherwise traditions can and have coexisted with the Word of God.
For instance, Nigeria's traditional attire. Is it Christian to don it? The answer is simple; it is irrelevant.
What part of scripture does Christmas contradict? I know you will say you are doing something nobody commanded. Very true but, did Jesus command Nigeria national garb? You can do stuff never commanded with a clean conscience except they contradict or conflict with the express commandment
bronzegoddess: We are gonna be sexless? Ahahahahahahahah. If we are gonna be sexless, I wonder why we were made male and female in d first place. u are only saying what u think, not what really is. Ayam looking for a female angel oo.
We were given genders to LIVE on earth in the flesh and to multiply
parisbookaddict: I suspected he was deeper life but i have confirmed it from reading some of his past posts...unfortunately it is common to see extremely narrow minded deeper life christians
Deeper Life is modern Negro Pharaisism. All they do their entire lives is imagine how better they are than others. It is a cult with layers and layers of rules. Kumuyi had a bout of guilt and vowed to dismantle the system he created. Let's pray he has cojones to admit stupidity and error.
parisbookaddict: Walid sheobat.. always posting hardcore raw information on his site... its funny u are copying and pasting from his site..I remember when I posted an article by Theodore sheobat from the same site which u condemned because his parents are catholics.. u are a funny person..
He is not funny just afflicted by intellectual dwarfism and a certified Kumuyi sheeple
trapQ: No....I won't call them sinners cuz its done against their will. plus it also happens to strong Christians too. like a chorister and prayer warrior in my church who suffered this fate for seven years.
Highcuerayte: The Friday lie doesn't agree with this thus disqualifying Jesus as the Messiah.
If you have a teachable spirit I can school you through the foolishness of denying Friday-death-Sunday-resurrection. Just request nicely and we will exorcise ignorance in seconds
Most scholars agree that Jesus was thirty-three and one-half years old when He died at Passover (Abib). He, therefore, had a birthday six months earlier in the month of Tishri (September-October). This is the month in which the Feast of Tabernacles is observed. TABERNACLES - His Birthday Celebration!! Jesus Christ, Himself, once uttered a very profound, yet simple statement pertaining to the worship of our Heavenly Father in St. John 4:23,24: "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the father in spirit and in truth: for the father seeketh such to worship him. God is a spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."
No sincere believer would deny that part of our worship of God should be in honoring the birth of His Son, our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. This glorious event, to all believers, is certainly the most outstanding manifestation in all human history of God's love toward man, His creation. Solomon tells us in his words to the wise, "To everything there is a season and a TIME to every purpose under heaven. A time to be BORN and a time to die . . . " Ecclesiastes 3:1-2. Jesus, therefore, had a specific time, both to be born and to die. In the case of His death, it was Passover; in the case of His birth, the scriptures indicate that it occurred during the Biblical festival of Tabernacles.
The following is a scriptural account of the birth of Jesus Christ. The reader is invited to examine and consider these facts very carefully: Luke (the Physician) has given us the most thorough birth record and declared that he "had perfect understanding of all things from the very first," therefore our source of information is reliable. It is necessary that we start with John the Baptist since his birth and that of our Saviour are so closely related. In Biblical days there were twenty-four priests, or governors, who served yearly in the temple, two for each month. (I Chronicles 24:7 - 10) Zacharias, the father of of J ohn the Baptist, was of the eighth course called Abijah. Luke 1: 5; 1 Chronicles 24: 10. So Zacharias' ministry in the temple was in the fourth month, Tammuz (June). (The first of the Jewish months is Abib, Exodus 12:1,2; 13:4.)
Immediately after those days in the beginning of the fifth month Ab, Zacharias returned home to Elizabeth and John is conceived in Elizabeth Nine months later in the next yeah he is born in the month Abib (near our March).
The Scripture teaches us that Jesus was six months younger than John the Baptist. Luke 1:26,36. Therefore, Jesus was conceived at the beginning of the eleventh month Sebat (JanuaryFebruary) and born nine months later in the month Tishri (September- October). From January to October would be a normal gestation period of 280 days.
The Feast of Tabernacles was celebrated annually during the month of Tishri. It was during this Feast that the Jews traditionally dwelt in booths made of tree boughs, etc., and gazed toward the east hoping to see the star, or phenomenon, that would herald the birth of their Messiah (Leviticus 23:34,41). The prophet Isaiah also bears witness to the occasion of the birth of Jesus Christ during the Feast of Tabernacles when he said, "They joy before thee according to the joy in harvest." Isaiah 9:3. This feast was in the fall of the year at the time of ingathering, or harvesting of all things out of the field (Exodus 23:16). Isaiah explains this joy in the sixth verse of this ninth chapter when he declared, "For unto us a child is born, and unto us a son is given indicating that the "joy of harvest" was actually the birth of Yahshua, Jesus Christ, at the time of harvest, or Ingathering.
Another small scriptural clue which has been overlooked and lends credence to this thought is found in John 1:14, which translated literally declares, "And the Word became flesh; and tabernacled among us," (Gr.-ho logos sarx egeneto, pai eskenosen en hemin.) Here we have a key which reveals to the alert eye that the time at which the Word was made flesh and tabernacled among men was in the Feast of Tabernacles (Isaiah 9:2,3).
So we see that it can be logically concluded that the date of the Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ was undoubtedly during the Feast of Tabernacles in the Jewish month Tishri (SeptemberOctober), probably on Tishri 22, the great day and solemn assembly of the Feast (Leviticus 23:39; John 7:37). In this deduction, every event and circumstance seems properly reconciled. WHY NOT HONOR THE BIRTH OF OUR LORD AT THIS FEAST TIME?
Since God never changes (Malachi 3:6), this might well -tell us something about His second coming, also. "And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives . . . and it shall come to pass, that all the nations . . . shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. " -Zechariah 14:4,16 (See Chronology)

Please, Since Reformation and before it had been widely known that Jesus was born elsewhere and not in December. So this is stale news.
His date of birth is IRRELEVANT, it is an idle academic exercise and celebrating it is a mere Christian tradition which you may or may not partake in.
vybzkartel: I am a teacher I am very friendly and a believer Almost all my students love me, i think partly because i have a great sense of humour I however realise that, two of my colleagues hate They dont even want to sit close to where i sit, even though i have not offended them I am not that worried, because not everyone will love you but, lately they have been crossing my lane Sometimes i would be in class teaching, and one would badge into the classroom without notifying me, and will be talking to some pupils i am teaching How do i handle this situation?
The same way you deal with those who love you without cause
trapQ: female demons conceive from men and vice versa. These demons are known as incubus/succubus. Most victims don't even know when they become pregnant for these demons, only fervent prayers expose them.
Really? Would you say the ignorant victims who have no clue what is going on are sinners on this account?
ifeness: It is mind blowing that Christians cannot see how their beloved, pathetic, human degrading religions is fading away. The Christian religion over the years put Ideology over the people, while Humanism have always put the people over Ideology. Christianity and Humanism cannot be fit together despite several tries, despite transplanting lots of good Humanist morals into Christianity. It is exactly like Islam, which happened to have created of one the most retarded humans on the plant(72 virgins in Allah's heaven??) Islam is not really worth mentioning.
A closer look at Christianity. This religion was famously created by the Catholic church. It is power based cult meant to empower the rich and powerful against the poor. An authoritarian secret society that echoes mass abuse of power. Well some people can say..."I'm Baptist or Deeperlife and other protesters who left the Catholic church",but the ideology remains the same, which is to RULE over the poor, take their money in the name of a God,decide how they live their lives and kill or condemn those who oppose them. Oyedepo is typical example of how this evil cult works.
Obviously someone like Kumuyi crafted his own idea but built the structure of his church exactly like the Catholics. He takes lots of money from the poor,he decides how they dress, marry, have sex, what they watch, how often they go to church....and here we have another student of the Roman catholic doing exactly what the Pope does, which is to RULE.
African slavery was justified by Christian Ideology, the Spanish Inquisition was justified by Christian Ideology, witch burning, book burning, genocides(of which majorities were hidden).
Despite the fact that the Roman Catholics rewrote their bible many times, protestants edited their own version to keep up with modern time which gave rise to different sects like the Mormons,Jehovah witness,Deeperlife all which have different ideologies crafted to fit their aims, they all are finding it difficult to keep up as they are not really sticking together.
Presently, only 3 in 10 youth really care about going to church. 5 in 10 only attend the church on Christmas and Easter ceremonies. This goes a long way to show that in 20 years many churches would have become recreational centers, the Vatican however much they try would probably become a museum. Example,in the UK many cathedrals have been converted to primary schools. In my area the only church you will find is a small black church. This black church cannot even be noticed. You can only tell with a small poster on their mail box .
I personally think the gradual demise of one the most powerful cults in the world that have abused power is a call for celebration
Cheers
[/size] Wassup my Negro, the fastest growing religion is UFO, ain't it? Just ask mellin and his enki
And yes, the fallen angels still sleep with humanity, bare more demons, which all exist in the spirit world., as opposed to those giants which existed in the physical world.
Hmmmm Do female demons conceive from men or do women conceive from male demons, or is it a case of both?
kalokalo: Pray tell, what fruits have you seen in TB Joshua's life that makes you declare him to be a false prophet? The world loves false prophets. They are the accepted, famous and renowned "men of God" you see. True men of God are always rejected and hated by the vast majority. It has always been so from the bible. Jesus himself said so!
A true mouthpiece of God will suffer rejection and persecution. If you claim to be serving God and yet the world loves and respects you, check your life and salvation! What is highly esteemed in the sight of men is an abomination to God. The opposite is usually true.
I can give you examples of false prophets who were persecuted. Joseph Smith the founder of Mormons. You don't measure authenticity of a minister by the amount of opposition they receive. By by how their doctrine measures up to the Word of God
nicerichard05: I have been having thiss thought since 2weeks now and I said to myself, before I take any decision I would wish to hear the viiew of Nlanders because I am not a very religious person.
I attend one of the biggest church around maryland (Lagos) and I can say that my church is very nice, fully air-conditioned and well packaged, with men and women of class scattered all over
Last 2 Sundays I overheard when 2 men (church workers) pointing to a youth, that this is making it the third time she is gaining admission into the university buh no sponsor! On hearing that, I was like wow, no sponsor in this kinda church when almost everybody are living a comfortable life with excess. I was forced to ask the man, that why can't the church do something about it buh he said the church have too many people on their welfare list already.
As we were about to close then our pastor raise a special offering of 100k, I was shocked once again wen more than 500 people came out. I went home and I started thinking, there are a lot of individuals who need this money but are not gettn it while people pay huge tithe and special offering in church jst to show off.
My tithe is due for sunday (I av been a faithful tither is I started working) so I was just think, that somebody out there might be in die need of this money. I am planing to save up my tithe in a particular acct accumulatively and then use it at the endd of every year to help one or 2 persons in need cos I Believe there are so many in need in our society.
Pls Nlanders am I going to do the right by doing that or its not biblical?
Your mature and scriptural response is needed. Thanks

There are always competing needs for our limited resources. There is somebody who has just died because they could not raise a fraction of that kid's fee needed for a simple operation or medication.
The point is, the moment you stop supporting your church for a 'more urgent' cause, that is a snare to numb your giving. One way to look at it is to consider giving to church and charity as not being mutually exclusive.
My simple counsel is, if you are totally sold to the idea of tithing, then keep on at it. There are enough threads on NL on arguments for and against tithing and for me, I see it as a GOOD tradition that is often abused and made into a command and on which believers are blackmailed. Should you conclude that tithing is a scam/fraud, then support the man. In all these, you must have a conscience that is already pointing you in a particular direction. Prayerfully follow it.
Busybody2: Pray tell how does one speak evil of evil?!! These evil being only exist to kill, steal and destroy or ain't this so in your own book?
That verse simply shows you the conventional wisdom that what is least understood is most likely to be spoken evil of. For that those who have not had YOUR experiences are likely to speak evil of you. This I said because I guard against criticizing what I have yet to experience. Hope you now understand me better.
There is nothing extra-biblical nor haughty in disposition here, what is being discussed here is a strata of one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit promised us by Jesus Christ in the Gospel of John and this not divinely bestowed for personal gratification but to edifying, exhort and comfort all in the body of Christ. And I am sure loads of people have been contacting the OP offline.
There are tidbits of extrabiblical tales here including artificial distinction between demons and fallen angels and some prescriptions. It is important that we found and base our faith in the Word of God and not fantastic tales. Cults have been born out of chasing experiences and a case in point is Mormons.
"Mayorall" just popped in to post an handful of testimonies bearing such gift but from his post I was able to discern that HE HAS ANOTHER SPIRITUAL GIFT - "FAITH" - the mountain moving unflinching type of faith. Ditto another poster "Blank" who just popped in to say hi. She also has this extra-ordinary generousity AKA SPIRITUAL GIFT OF "GIVING" which she does secretlyhttps://emoticons4u.com/crazy/245.gif...
Sorry guys I had to reveal these hidden things to buttress the point I was making
So you see Monsieur Vooks, God gives these gifts as He wills and this does not mean one gift is more important than another. Everything is given for the comfort of all because we are all one body in Christ and every member of the body of Christ need each other.
I heartily agree, I only caution against experientialism exalted above the Word of God
Your wonderful gift of discernment, may the Lord increase in you even more to the end that more may be edified
