Klass99:
Having class involves good manners, politeness, pride without showing off, empathy, humility and an abundance of self-control.

It is also about an ingrained and wonderful upbringing which reflects years later in your adulthood. Class is evident in your words and conduct, you either have it in you or you don't. It is more about your carriage and comportment as a person, than the flashy apparel you wear.

You can buy the latest fashion, gadgets and glam up all you want, but the moment you open your mouth to speak and from the way you behave, we will know whether you have class or not.

I know an oil and gas worker with Exxon Mobil, who is very mgbekelicious in the way he carries himself. With all his wealth, nice clothes and fine car I will never describe him as a man with class. I can say he is a man of means, but class.....hell no.

They are just wailing wailers, in real life they relate with these same Naija women they like to bash.
One user who constantly insults women here, said he has 3 kids from 3 different women.
What was he doing with the same Nigerian women he loves to hate/bash on NL?
Abi, the women who are offline are not Naija women again?
Las las dem go quench on top Naija women matter.
Any man who always bash women here and there is nothing but a senseless he goat. No matter their petsonal experience or whataview, that doesn't worth the way and manners they bash and talk down at women here

At times, i wonder if these lots was birth by women.

Education › Re: Accept 2.2 Or Have A Spilled Over For You to get 2.1 by VTJN(m): 9:18am On Sep 22, 2021
Irijosa777:
I wrote my final exam in July this year, few weeks later I was in Delta when my course adviser called me to come to school (Uniben), that it's a matter of urgency, I went to school, then I meet her in the HOD office. She told me I failed two courses in my final exam. She said the department is going to upgrade one to "grin" then wave the other one to me but by imprecation I will graduate as a 2.2 student.
When, I thought about it if I should accept it or come back again to write the two courses (one in 1st semester and the other in 2nd semester) to get 2.1. it was a hard decision for me to make but then I made the decision to accept the offer because of the following reason.
1. Uniben is becoming too stressful/ I'm already tired.
2. The financial expenses involved
3. Economics department in Uniben is not a joke.
4. The probability of me getting "A"s if rewrite the two courses is very low.
5. ASUU and strike
Based on the following reasons I accepted the offer, result came out I graduated as a 2.2 student but some how I started feeling sad. Though 2.2 is not the best but then I also graduate myself. I can't come and kill myself ( schooling in Nigeria university is like war).
If I may ask, did I took the wrong decision?
Opinions please!

Family › Re: About The Ministry Of Help by VTJN(m): 5:27am On Sep 22, 2021

Lostchild:
VTJN

There are different type of ministry in God

The prophetic, pastoral, apostolic, evangelic and school teachers. There is another ministry called (The Ministry Of Help)

I am called to do the ministry of help and servitude, which is the highest among all the ministry of God.

WHAT IS THE MINISTRY OF HELP ?

[b]The ministry help is a ministry of service, care and helpfulness, where a person will live to be of benefit to others, and to attend to the need of others first. It is a ministry where you are called to help in diminishing the pain of others.

You are called to share the misery which lies upon the world.

The ministry of help is the highest calling and one of the most brutal ministry a person will be called into.

THE CONS

・You must have the ability to serve the common good of humanity.

・You are-natured, caring, hospitable, meek and humble.

・You will not be able to enjoy your life for many years.

・You will have to sacrifice your life for others

・You will constantly put yourself under the service of others, by doing the will of others

・Your life will constantly be under the service of humanity

・Your life will constantly be under the influence and control of God.

・You cannot do as you like
.

・Your life will constantly be in danger.

・You cannot party or engage in rivelry

・Celibacy or married

・You are not allowed to fornicate or f'vck any chick as you like.

Those who are called into this ministry of help, you will find them in places, like charity organisations, orphansge homes, and more.

It is a ministry and a calling to suffer for others and live for others.

THIS MINISTRY OF HELP HAS ITS OWN ADVANTAGE
I love rendering service to humanity bro. We had almost same mentality to life

Though I do mine as a service rendered. No form of monetary or material intended service. I'm very much incapacitated towards that

That is the major reason why i told you to help me since you claimed you are interested in men now

Lifting one person automatically means you directly or indirectly lifting hundred of thousands of people that surrounds me.

Like i said earlier, not everyone online are scam or fake. Likewise, not everyone online are genuine or real

No matter your love for humanity, if you don't have access to basic necessities of life I.e food, water, healthcare, education et al. You probably would get frustrated no matter the inbuilt traits in you. You just have to exhibit those trait (service to humanity) in you, in your own little way no matter how poor you are. One can't forced service to humanity upon his/herself bro. Once one don't have it, then forget it. Even though such a person is a billionaire

Once you are a selfish being. Who had the mentality of Me, Myself and i alone. No matter how wealthy the person is. He/she is
most likely to turning his/her back at the needy and humanity as a whole

I asked for your support and assistance having coming across your post and seeing your claim with regards to helping humanity, with emphasis to men

You are interested in helping men, I'm a man, who coincidentally had same orientation and believe in helping humanity. Basically, for everyone to live in harmony and be happy

Apologies on behalf of those who were calling you names. It's a faceless forum. Mind you, social media does made everyone equal irrespective of your status, class or whataview. That a young growing person can abused, attacked, and responded to an Adult old enough to be their father/mother/uncle/aunt, using foul words. This might be somewhat difficult to do seeing such an Adult physically

Just be that person you are and never relent helping people.

As for me, you can help me if you chose to. I'm not a fake person. I based in Lagos, Nigeria. I'm a graduate who is unemployed. This is the menace we face in our home country, Nigeria. Many youths are out of job and perhaps underemployed. Those who are gainfully employed ain't satisfied due to poor monthly take home. Some children are out of school, no food nor clean water, some are roaming the streets, some had become nuisance in the community, some had gone into prostitution, some into cyber crime as a result of peer pressure/poor parenting and poverty

There's absolutely little to nothing i could do,(other than to advise and admonished them) if myself who had education is still roaming the street of Lagos in search of a job and yet to find my feet.

P.S: I'm a volunteer advocate with the Initiative for Global Change (IGC) to keep watch over the system on behalf of helpless people. I'm also volunteering with HAZIKE-FITILA support foundation. Where we reach out to inmates in all correctional centres across the federation. Going through their case, giving them food, clothes and other necessities. I've volunteered with some other NGOs during my undergraduate days. It's in me already.

Why? Not safe?
Don't mind him

I live in Agbara, close to the estate and a stone throw to Lagos

There's constant power supply in Agbara due to it's proximity to an industrial area

You are guaranteed minimum 20hrs power supply

Also, there's security in the location because most places has gate and employ security personnel

These places are assigned with different security personnel. For instance Area A is well secured with gate and has her security personnel

Same goes to Area B and the rest

Btw, i love this place basically for two major reasons

Firstly, constant power supply and it's proximity to Lagos

Fix the family system and watch a huge junk of Nigeria's problem fizzle away. It's still in this same our Nigeria that a mother was offering her body to an external examiner so as to allow her child cheat in the exam hall.
Exactly bro. Family and communal problem is the major source of our doom in this country. Peer pressure, social media, lack of contentment et al. All these also add to our problem

I was also from a very poor background, lost my dad and mum was incapacitated financially. We are all boys with just a girl. Got educated but no job. Yet, it never occurred to any of us to seek for money or wealth in a wrong ways/places. We don't even do what our generation sees as something normal (keeping boy/girl friend for romantic relationship)

It's quite rare, seeing a guy or girl who had seen the 4 walls of university, graduated and chose not to have anything to do with the opposite sex. It's just for the time being and not forever.

Everything in life has phase, we'd definitely get there When it's time for that

If you as a Nigerian youths, can comfortably tricked someone to ripped off his or her HARD earned money, then you have no moral right whatsoever to talk down and castigate the government

You are a thief, that'd definitely meet his/her waterloo someday

We all had conscience to know what is morally right or wrong. Stop listening to anyone telling you what is right or not. Even notorious armed rubbers had conscience, they all knows what they are doing is wrong. They only chose to follow the wrong path

We all know stealing is wrong, having sex when you ain't married is wrong, looking for means to make fast money is wrong, living a fake life, prostitution, just name it. All these are outrightly wrong.

We only need God's mercy upon our lives and hope for a better tomorrow. Not quick/fast money just to oppress your fellow ones
