My concern is why do we Men feel women are cheat generally? Men had made it look lawful if we cheat than the female folks

The reality is that we Men are the worst when it comes to infidelity. Nigerian men in particular. We had no regards for marriage. Nigerian Men would have 2/3 wives and still sleep around

The guy Op girlfriend intend cheating with would probably had a girfriend somewhere believing she got a responsible guy

We men believes once we have money, then we automatically had 70% of what will make girls crawl around us. A man who had once cheated on his wife/girlfriend has no right referring to a girl as prostitute

Nigerian men who will cheat and still rubb it on their wives face believing she can't do nothing. Nigerian men who probably had slept with different women then turn out looking for a virgin girl to settle down with smiley no be juju be that kwa

If we men chose to be responsible, stop that dirty African mentality of "I am a Man, i can sleep around and marry more waives, you're a woman, where is your dignity" and don't allow money control us believing we got money to have girls at our disposal. There would definitely be less weeping of infidelity

Even poor men in Nigeria cheat. They cheat despite their financial predicament. A man's wife would die and he'd moved on so quickly unlike the women. We men are truly dogs to be candid. We can sleep with anything under skirt. I mean any fvcking thing

Reason why we have fathers sleeping with their biological daughters, domestic staff, office staff, their wife sisters amongst many others. We even had paedophile, rapist chai

The problem with Nigerian men is the law. We know what we're doing is absolutely wrong but chose to indulge in it. When we get to the western world we became much more responsible even more than the ladies. Why? Because we know what's at stake. Our law in this climes is so absurd seriously

Some men would be claiming they are Africans. It's in our culture to sleep around and marry as much as many wives and same culture prohibit women from doing that. Then why are we men still complaining, calling girls all sorts of derogatory names? Was it not someone that'd marry some of those numerous girls we sleep with? Or we expect them to become virgin back having slept with them?

I'm even tired sef. I so much hate the way Nigerian men behaves no offence

Eyah, sorry about your predicament. You have chosen not to go into academics and I applaud you for that, you are thinking in the right direction. Just recently, my eyes opened and I came to the realization that Intelligence and hard work will keep you surviving but you need more than that to be successful financially. You have to position yourself in a business or career that people pay highly for, It's not ONLY about how much work you put in, It is also about how do people value what you are doing. When people don't value your work and you keep trying your best, you'll still end up with nothing.

You are into business, research ways you can sell your Poultry farm ideas to people. If you feel your current business isn't bringing you money, please leave that business and start a new one. If you need to leave your environment, please relocate.

I became motivated immediately and said to myself. I might not have 10K to give but have a smaller amount to give too. I grew up to know that nothing is too small so far it is a gift.

In the light of that as it has happened in previous years. If you want to continue from where I stopped, you are free. If N500 is not too small for your airtime; Please, add a mode of credit so I can give too as my New Year Gift!

I'm seriously thinking why the teaching profession isn't well rated in terms of welfare packages. Teaching should be a noble profession held up high, but that's not the case in my country. I'm personally a lover of the teaching profession, was in it for about 5years, left it for 'greener pastures' and now feel like coming back home. The question remains 'to what end'? In the end, passion wouldn't pay bills. How do we change this narrative??
Passion doesn't pay bills o my brother

I was a very good tutor right from my high school days till college. I was exceptionally good at bringing out the best in oneself. All my circle back then in college, no matter how dumb they are, all bagged 2.1

No doubt, i had the dexterity of a good and exceptional tutor. I self sponsored myself through school as a tutor, taking students. My course mates inclusive. I can't imagine the meagre pay most schools offer her staff. Academy staff in particular. Can't even wrapped my head over it

I love teaching no doubt. I've got sumptuous of feedback from friends and different people suggesting i go into academics. However, in today's Nigeria. One needs to attain a certain academic prowess. At least, a masters degree before being considered. Moreover, schools had stopped retaining her best brain unlike how it's being obtainable back then. Honestly, I'm sick and tired of teaching with paltry payment

Why not sincerely thank the person and hopefully put such a person in your prayers daily rather than the advertisement?

You don't neccesarily had to rub it on people's faces on social media platforms claiming to be grateful to such person. Why doing that? What is your motive? What do you stand to gain? That is nothing but pure eye service

Anyone who had once taken Reno Omokiri serious in criticizing the presidency needs to evaluate his/herself. He's doing all that from a bitter mind. His paymaster had been kicked out of office and he got no option than to root for someone who'd gladly foot all his bills having sworn in

Reno Omokiri isn't exception. Omoyele sowore and many others aggressively condemning the presidency are doing that out of envy

No sane person would claim the presidency (PMB) didn't disappoint. Not even an infant. It is Crystal clear for the blind to see. His government is sbsolutely nothing to write home about

Family › Re: What Can This Family Do? by VTJN(m): 5:26pm On Dec 16, 2021
Villa12:
Good day fellow Nairalanders

There's this neighbour of mine, a family with 6 kids (3 boys and 3 girls) and the couple, totalling eight. They lived in an uncompleted building (they couldn't afford getting a single room) though with the permission of the owner. I've known this family almost a decade. The children ain't going to school. Not even a public school. The children look so pale, malnourished and unkept. The husband is a bricklayer who hardly get job. Most of the job he had gotten in his lifetime was just a join man job. The wife goes to different places to wash clothes and get paid which isn't constant

Some of these children are becoming nuisance in the neighbourhood. They walk helmlessly in the street looking for what to eat. People took advantage of their predicament. Sending them errand at will, while their mates are in school. Their mother and father had been insulted severely for stopping them from turning their children to their messenger. These children doesn't listen to their parents to stop walking helmlessly, parabulating the street and being sent on an errand by anybody. They claimed their parents doesn't give them food to eat and they had to help people go on errand just to get something to eat. Even the church ain't helping. She had stopped attending her church. According to her, they mocked and make jest of her right in her presence. Why? Because of her condition, she wasn't contributing to the church. These children had become a street beggars. Infact, the first son (13 years old) was arrested last week for stealing a mobile phone. He confessed, claiming hunger led him to it. My dad had to plead on his behalf and he was released the following day having seen the phone

I'm from a humble background. There's little to nothing i could do to help this family. I teach in a secondary school with just 25k take home. I do talked to these children, tutor them, admonished and give them the little from me. My mother being a friend to their mother also help in giving foodstuffs (though occasionally). This family had been an eye sore to the public that i had to forget my own problem sometimes. According to the man, he claimed his wife had never disrespected him nor cheated on him for once. She was a good woman to him and his children. She was just unfortunate

This woman came to meet my mum yesterday, crying bitterly, hitting herself on the ground. She claimed her family had been for days without food (eating only unripe pawpaw) This was someone who had ulcer as a result of starvation. She cried prufesly, lamenting seriously, claiming she'd have to abandon her children and run away. Her tears moved me and i got teary. My mum scolded her, letting her know the implications. Also, that should be the last thing to ever do. Not that she herself (my mum) was enjoying in her matrimonial home. However, running away, abandoning her children is a pure suicide mission that she'd regret for the rest of her life

My worry was that, these children needed to go back to school. These children are even brilliant seriously. The first 2 boys are done with primary school, while the 3rd child a girl, supposed to be in basic 6, sitting for her common entrance exam

Is there any Agency/NGO or whataview that can help these children back to school? not minding public school? These children are more likely to end up badly if they keep roaming the streets while their mates are in school. They'd easily get exposed to all sorts of bad things including the girls amongst them. Sadly, the last 3 children hadn't been to school before. Yet, the last child is 4 years old.

Life was completely unfair to this family. They lacked the basic necessities of life. Moreso, these children doesn't deserve all these, as they are way too young for this. In a saner climes, i doubt if these children would be abandoned. Where can they go to? Who should they meet? These children mustn't end up on the street

Looking forward to your suggestions. Thanks!
@MMotimo please this family is going through hard time. They'd sincerely appreciate the food items or any other thing available

It saddened my heart to have read what the family had gone through. Please ma, this family would eternally be grateful if you can help in any little way

Btw, I'm so sorry to have mentioned you on a dead thread without your permission.

Since PLAN 1 is currently SUSPENDED, I'll proceed to PLAN 3. Winners will be selected within the next 48 hours.
Let me reiterate the yardstick for qualifying to participate in Plan 3 because so many people failed to read and just thought they can ask to be entered for the plan.

YOU MUST HAVE COMMENTED, SOMEWHERE IN THE THREAD, PROVIDING IDEA ON HOW TO SELECT THE NEEDING FAMILIES.

So, if all you said was asked to be considered and no idea was suggested, no matter how impractical it might be, you are NOT qualified and will NOT be shortlisted.

Thank you.
I'm glad you've seen clearly yourself the level of sentiment exhibited by our fellow Nigerians. This is just a fraction of what had been happening in Nigeria as a whole. You either know someone (God father) or die trying. The hanky panky on this very giveaway thread as a result of popularity would most likely earned such persons the money. Then what happened to competency, merit, quality? et al. I wouldn't want to sound rude though. Without being told @Snowland, tribalism are somewhat into play to an extent. This is what myself and @byrrand had seen happening from the beginning of this thread. The politics on this very giveaway thread would be so loud had it been you've forged ahead without having a second thought

@Snowland, I'd suggest you take this out of this forum completely. Please don't entertain any form of anonymous messages trying to encourage you to continue the contest on this very platform. If you wouldn't mind, you could take it to people you interact with daily @your end. Tell them to pick from the best to the least business proposal. Those people are neutral without bias. They had no intention canvassing for votes or support for anyone as we've seen here. You could send to friends and family telling them to give you feedback. You could take to other media platforms outside nairaland to get unbiased responses. Even at your place of work, if you aren't working remotely. They could help you chose promising businesses amongst them alongside with your own notion. A final decision can then be taken. You announced the winner and disbursement of funds follows

Competency had flown into thin air the very moment you kickstart this giveaway thread. Sadly, this is the reality of what we've been going through in Nigeria till date. Where people with questionable character takes precedence over integrity. They are best considered to lead the masses provided they got money to throw about. The highest bidder amongst them get the seat. Nigerians placed them so much on a pedestal just because of money. They passed the baton and the cycle continues

In summative, @Snowland please kindly take this out of reach of Nairalanders. The padi-padi is too enormous. The method you'd consider should be completely descret. Thanks!

Disqualifying @Ummufarrah isn't fair. She was in a contest. She never erred or break any rules. Why the disqualification? The sentiment on thi very platform is pretty much. If @byrron hadn't promised to gift her the same amount she's competing with. She wouldn't even stand the chances of winning the contest at first because of the level of sentiment exhibited

Besides, her sincerity earned her the money. byrron does noticed how bayased and being sentimental some members are in making sure a/some certain persons win the contest. It ought to be a plus to her and not dropping her

Imagine gifting a contestant money from my personal pocket. Does that stopped such contestant forging ahead to contest and possibly win the contest? Ofcourse not

@Snowland I have no say on how you chose to spend your money. However, this is a public forum. You did asked to air our views, ideas and votes in getting the right beneficiaries for the said fund and it's disbursement

Sadly, i didn't futher stressed myself voting for any candidates having seen the politics put in place. @Snowland i expected you to figure it out too. It's crystal clear

Anyway, like i said earlier. Your money, your decision.

Let me solicit for fund too. Please anyone should come to my aid @Snowland please help me biko

To be candid, disqualifying @Ummufarrah is completely out of fairness. @Ummufarrah a decision had been taken. You got disqualified for being gifted cash by someone who got glued to your sincerity
