POE experiences are very different and a couple of people have posted their experience on the thread.


For documents,always have a copy of the documents you submitted for your application including your up to date bank statement handy so you can present it if and only if it is requested

Will I also need the bank statement cos everything is in her acct and not mine as she is the one schooling I'm just a dependant

Dependant VISA alert. Wife's own.
Marriage Dec 3rd
Tb test Dec 19th
Visa application online Dec 20th
Biometric Dec 21st at TLS VI(standard)
Collection mail Jan 5th (8th working day).
DHL delivered it today after mistakenly carrying round the whole of Nigeria �.

Submitted Marriage Certificate gotten from mosque (no ikoyi or LGA stuff or affidavit)..NOT IDEAL.
Wife stuck to her dad's name (I forgot to explain this doing application and it fr hieaked me out).
Submitted my BRP.
Submitted Nikkah(marriage)pictures that showed it was an Islamic setting, which took place in my father-in-law sitting room by the way.
And of course, PCC and TB report were submitted.
Then it was pushed with lotta prayers. Alhamdulillah.

I sent a paid email 2 days ago about my visa application being delayed. It’s been over 18 business days since I did my bio as a dependent and my application is still on DMC.
I got this mail yesterday and I don’t know what I can do after this.
Please help!

Hello

The ECO will raise concerns and request evidence/compelling reasons why the second parent isn't applying

Evidence will be sole parent due to death or court order or other compelling reasons and if it isn't provided your son may be refused

Best advice is to apply together or your wife applies alone and you and your son later together

Since she is an employee and this is not a visit visa then that should be fine and I won't worry too much

She should advise her boss to please file annual returns

2. Visa is £363 for student and £490 per dependant

3. Maintenance (POF) for applicant outside UK :£1023*9 and dependant £680*9*no of dependants

4. Add tuition of £12500

5. Use Oanda to convert to naira,here's the link

That should give you the sum, you can post your figures and people on the thread can confirm

You can use your notification of results to apply. Concerning the transcript, have you requested it from OOU portal?
At most, before November, APC & Buhari govt go dance to ASUU song and call off strike.
You can apply for January/May session 2023.
