I just realised I had been listening to James Arthur's - truth will set you free as I read this thread. Funny world. Most people didn't read through the post, because reading through it shows that the person who's been blackmailed here is Omini. The girl has no proof and from her replies to his chats it shows she's still close to the Drea character. Seeing as Chidinma would be receiving an award, she is emboldened to come out and make this confession. MrMontella: About 180 organs previously thought to be vestigial organs have now been shown to perform varying functions, some very vital. Examples include appendix, coccyx , so called Gill slits which are in actuality pharyngeal pouches and arches and which result in formation of the thymus, the external auditory meatus, the throat and other organs. The e. coli experiment is fraught with inconsistencies and there are scientists countering it ( e. g Minnick although mainstream science media won't carry it) . The fruit fly experiment is basic biology knowledge and just simply proves that you get some traits from one of your parents or a combination of both of them which to me doesn't prove evolution. Charles Darwin was said to have lamented the limitations in genetic mutation . I believe there are limitations too because no matter what you do to a fruit fly, it still remains a fruit fly no matter what you do to a bacteria it doesn't become a fungi. Natural selection is a conservative and not a creative process , individual members of an animal group with the best qualities survive not so they can grow wings or be able to touch the sun, nope they do this to be able to bring out the best potential in their species and fight off oppression by other species ,not become other species. This to me is pure logic. Evolution is the real fiction not creation . This has been fun but it's taking a lot of my time and resources. I wouldn't be replying any further. I'll allow you the last say because you argue with facts ( tho disputable) . My advice to you, atheism is a strong view to hold and shouldn't be done lightly and without exploring all options and getting irrefutable facts. I usually don't have problems with atheists till they think they're superior ( more evolved if you like ) because they have a separate belief from me. God bless you bro 1 Like |

MrMontella:The evidence therein supports intelligent design. Evolution loses in this case because there are no present examples of evolution in motion. Also evolution defeats the definition of a scientific law; it cannot be adequately measured, recorded or replicated in present times.( reason why it's just a theory ) . Everyday new scientists come up. and disprove formerly thought facts of the theory and you expect me to believe such volatile theory |

jonbellion: jonbellion: I don't know how life came about but I know the Abrahamic God is no scientist cuz from the bible it was obvious he knew nothing about science. * Na fam that's untrue there are a lot of scientific knowledge that were present in the Bible long before their ' discovery and facts in the Bible that are now proven to be true. I'll just give one ,easily one of the most contentious; God made man from the earth - Researchers at NASA’s Ames Research Center confirmed that every element in man can be found in the soil, prompting one of the scientists to say “…the biblical scenario for the creation of life turns out to be not far off the mark” for more you can check out this website http://bibleevidences.com/scientific-evidence/ /quote][quote author=jonbellion post=50487546] |

MrMontella:I guess I would have to find a transcript for you guys as it seems you're unable to see the whole video. What transpired was an intelligent debate between two learned people in which Stephen won graciously. Now to your second assumption that a ' tail ' present after birth proves evolution, that is hogwash. The term tail is used very loosely here, because what is termed as the tail is actually either a cyst, a tumor, spina bifida( failure of the vertebral arch to close and protrusion of the meninges-spinal cord -and csf-cerebrospinal fluid) or the result of a parasitic twin. It usually contains connective tissue, adipose tissue , striated muscles, blood vessels and nerves but never contains a part of the vertebrae column as seen in animals. Also you trying to use embryology to support your theory. Hmm, well I'll deal with it in two phases. One, the supposed tail ( a very generous word) is re-absorbed by the body during weeks 5-8 of embryonic development . Now this is not in anyway analogous to that of animals, but instead is the tail end of the digestive system(tail gut) which later on closes and divides separating the Allantois(future urogenital sinus and urinary tract) from the hind gut. It's persistence after birth is simply an anomaly; no arguments. Two, we are related to all mammals, all animals, infact all life at the basic molecular level or even cellular level at conception. All animals arise from a single cell from parents ( parent in asexual reproduction) . This singular cell multiplies, divides, differentiates and specializes in function, leading to an increased size and complexity and transformation into an adult. Now this change I believe is as a result of a mechanism pre-programmed into that cell or that DNA that makes it realise it is to carry out some processes to grow and does not require millennia to pass , but happens in days or max two years. This change is what I'm choosing to term the 'Divine Evolution of Birth ',from simple to complex, from homogeneous to heterogeneous, the true evolution, a beautiful process, a mysterious concept . To your Atavism , if you believe this, I hope you also believe in re-incarnation . How on earth can someone use the presence of hairy faces and 'tails' to prove that we were once monkeys and educated people believe this stuff. |

MrMontella:Pardon my generalization, but it's clear you haven't watched the video. I can understand it's pretty long and your mind is already set. Stephen Meyer asked Mr Peter Atkins if the quoted statement was accepted scientific knowledge and he agreed. Now, this video was recorded in 2010 and I agree that a whole lot of ideas could have come to dispute earlier facts, so if you do find any please do tell me. If evolution were true why aren't there present any live examples of animals evolving into another one. Also answer this, if you stayed in a tree for years and your children and children children stayed in trees for years would you grow a tail ( as implied by evolution) ? |

jonbellion:Guess no matter how different our views are ,we have one thing in common ; we are both Jon Bellion fans. I do not believe in evolution basically because it makes minimal sense and there aren't factual proof of its happening, just theories by ' prominent ' scientists. Most scientists go along with evolution because it is like a gate pass to acceptance in the scientific community. Evolution hasn't and cannot account for the origin of life ( correct me if I'm wrong) . Because the first life form, the first DNA molecule had to have come with a pre-programmed information that would help it replicate and scientists agree that information must come from an intelligent source ( whom we call God) . if it was that a few clicks just happened and life was formed from inorganic components, I might understand evolutionary point of view . But no, there were a million and one variations that could have happened , but everything just followed a precise pattern all leading up to all forms of life we have now . I don't claim to be an authority on the subject but do check out this audio ' Stephen Meyer Vs Peter Atkins( renowned chemist, atheist and author of most of your university text book) arguing on the movie ' Expelled ' . This is the you tube link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TSZlPZvIOC0 . Read, listen and be sure of what exactly you defend. |

Anyone think maybe the girl was on her own at the park, trying to hide from something or someone (explains the hoodie ) then the guy comes up, recognizes her ,notices she's sad, tries to cheer her up, snaps her, asks to take a picture with her using his 'Owerri' charm ( no pun intended) and since he's so sweet she agrees with a vely important clause " DON'T SHOW THIS TO ANYONE " . He feels elated, leaves the park floating like done popcorn, she looks at him as he leaves; a smile stretching her lips. He goes home and one or two bottles down the line, he forgets the clause and voila he's done it. Now her dad's not allowing her leave the house without Inspector Ayuk Mbi following her and has also ordered a nationwide man hunt for my Igbo brother , who is to be deported to Nigeria as a UN refugee when found. 1 Like |

Phinity318:Not to derail the thread, but I'm with you on this. Bringing GMO products will expose us to exploitation by all these GMO companies and Nigeria with porous borders and regulatory bodies would serve as dumping ground for failed experiments, products rejected by other countries and we could be prone to depopulation projects ( our fertility could be targeted and carcinogenic substances are usually concentrated in these products) . It would also make us dependent on these companies for our food source as Genetically modified crops cannot usually be replanted (end time no? ) . Which is why surveys like the one carried out by Kemi should be used to know the mind of the people and this should be sent to government and organizations like churches that can put up a fight against it. 1 Like |

LastProphet:Sorry too man for returning the insults( my future daughters were involved ) . The leaking of strategic information to BH is because their sponsors either occupy high positions in government or have a firm grip around the necks of those who do. I have read a lot about the USA to know better than to trust them. The only reason why I do respect them is that whatever unwholesome thing they do, the yields go back into their system. A friend of mine ( maybe not as reliable as your source) said they left because they realised that there was a lot of politics surrounding the Chibok issue. There still is though. I just know that Nigeria will survive these present crop of politicians and the next generation will get it right. Blessings bro |

I was so sad when this 'incident ' first happened, but as it dragged on, there started to come up many loopholes and inconsistencies in the story .I hope for the sake of stability, the government and their puppet master ; the USA find a way to smoothen this play to a picture perfect Hollywood ending. Yes, I'm igbo; was Igbo before I was Nigerian . Nigeria is a contract, a contract that has ended, but a contract I have come to love. |

To all the Kenyans on here or the same person with different monikers kuwakaribisha. I was going to just waka pass, because .....who wizkid epp . I'm not a fan but I do love some his songs. You might say his songs just have groovy beats with no lyrical depth , but the boy has talent. He has this gift of being able to flow on a range of productions and register his trademark sound, all that's left is for him to channel this into deep lyrics . Now to Alikiba , another reason I wasn't going to comment. I don't know the guy. I might have heard his name pushed in mainstream media, but I have sampled a couple of so called Africa's ' best artists ' and have been disappointed, so I was skeptical . I downloaded two songs he was on and I admit he has a better voice than wizzy. First of, his song with M.I, ' Aje' didn't do it for me( even our chairman didn't deliver sha ) or maybe it needs some getting used to . The second, with Sautisol (Unconditionally ) ,is an equally average song to me, but if there's a standout point in the song, it is definitely ali's part ; the guy try. Now I know these two songs aren't enough to judge his singing but from what is before me I'm making my decision none the less. Ali is a better vocalist, but Wizkid is by far a better and bigger artist, with far better songs and talent and with widespread acceptance and recognition to boot and I think it's a slap on wizkid's proud face to compare the two. Y'all don't know how and where this guy worked his way up from ( go and ask Ojuelegba peeps) . He is a hard worker, who churns song after song ( most of them hits) with very little dry spells . Are there better artists than him in Kenya ... yes!! Do I know them?? ... No!! So until you bring one or you be one... put some respect on the name Wizkid . |

Nice one . Not really a fan of romance ,especially those sacrificed on the altar of a good storyline but this your story is beautiful (small small with the hyperbole o). I cringed when the lead character professed his hatred for Biafra( because of woman) almost made me dislike the book ,but that depicts a good book ; one that can make me forget, for a second, that it's all fiction. So happy my guy was part of the 30 that scaled the chaffing , though e pain me for the rest of them. Earlier, this year it happened to me and my UTME mates. Pass mark to cross to 200 level was raised from the agreed 2.00 and no carryovers stated in the prospectus, to 4.1 for medicine,3.6 for radiography and 3.0 for nursing and other courses . How those affected lost the case in court still baffles me till today and belies the rot in our judicial system or the incompetence of the lawyer used. 2 Likes |
