I guess you've seen their maximum speeds now. My cell was quite below the limit of gprs of far below the limit of Enhanced Data Gsm Environment(EDGE)

Just did my research on google and i didn't come up with anything kpbs. It jst so happens that my phone or any phone for that matter, can get up to that speed in kbps for GPRS (56 - 114) or EDGE (384 kbps)

I just started getting edge in my area, only got gprs before. I don't see any difference in speed, though edge is supposed to be faster than GPRS
