Nairaland GeneralRe: Nairaland Needs Moderators Urgently by WackyJ1(m): 10:48pm On Sep 11, 2009
Dear seun

I would like tender my application for the post of moderator of the Technology section. This is because that is by far my favourite section in nairaland, the section where i feel most at home at and where i can make meaning full contributions.
As far as being online always is concerned, i would like you to know that i log into nairaland( and other accounts like facebook and yahoo) once every hour and at most two hours, i know this may sound impossible but i'm an internet freak.
I know what it entails to be a moderator and i assure you i'm the best man for the job. I'm mentally incapable of breaking the rules and humility is what i'm know.
I hope you will consider me for the post.

FamilyRe: My Husband Won't Accept Our Son's Disability by WackyJ1(m): 11:19am On Sep 11, 2009
1) Watch Desperate housewives season 1 the very first time i heard of such a disorder.
2) i Think the disorder is not permanent, that it usually fades with time and there is a medication for it.
3) As for your husband i'm ashamed, so he still brings his culture into this when he should be very supportive and handle the situation like the man he claims to be instead of passing the buck
4) After your husband is through with beating your son and shouting at you. Meet your son and reassure him, not in a sad hopefull way but in strong and proud way as if you bet a million bucks that he was smart, you can decide to do a little home school for him to supplement his school work or get a hometeacher for him as long as the teacher understands his problem and does not make fun of him or gets frustrated easily.
I believe you wil get through this. GOOD LUCK
RomanceRe: Is Love A Need Or Want? by WackyJ1(m): 11:05am On Sep 11, 2009
I believe love is a need. We need our parents to look after us and advice us. We need our loved ones to care for us, to lift us up, give us confidence and basically we need our loved ones to be there for us to love. grin grin

Foreign AffairsRe: Nigerian-Yoruba Criminal Gangs In America Busted Yet Again by WackyJ1(m): 10:48am On Sep 10, 2009
The reason why the emphasis is so on Nigeria is because of the fact that we don't balance our evil with good. Americans or other countries of the world benefit from each other despite a few fraudulent acts here and there once it a while. But what do they hav to gain from us nothing except the fact that they can cheat us or rip us off. I  may be wrong on this  but doesn't it seem that most of the Nigerians who go abroad go there just to do 419? Only a few go for good intentions  and when i mean good i mean to stay with friends and family, thats all. So they hav every reason to suspect every tom, dick and harry who bears any Nigerian-like name.

Even the sony advert, we just rushed to defend ourselves  that  what sony said was wrong. In my opinion,  if we had sue sony to court we wouldn't hav stood a chance if they had started to bring up evidence such as this one in the  defense.

I'm tired of hearing about Nigeria Nigeria Nigeria. Does it mean we are the only African Country that engages in fraudulent activity abroad? Must we be the GAINT OF AFRICA in everything?

My God!!! He sounds like a f***king child:

"Because we had put too much expectation on him thats why we didn't win"

Silly excuses like the sore loser he is. Is it only him they put the pressure on? Yet two of the team members scored wonderfull goals. He did nothing in the match yet he has the guts 2 talk. angry

@adebayo201 i disagree with you zain is no where near mtn when it comes to browsing. Zain does not come any where close to MTN when it comes to browsing.
Zain does not hav EDGE, 3G and certainly not 3.5g which mtn has.

On a clear sunny day, my phone will suddenly loose signal while i'm browsing with zain. When i start searching for networks in order to get signal, the three results i see are
MTN
GLO
ETISALAT

The only thing i like about zain their internet bundle and their customer care.

I'm happy i made it on  the first page of the official thread of BBA 4: Revolution.

12guys 2ladies there's gonna be a lot of competition. But i'm afraid not much backstabbing cos guys  aren't very good at that kind of stuff. Well lets just wait and see
