OfoIgbo: Kanu was not in Nigeria. He was abducted from another country, which is an international crime. Nigerian officials must answer for that first.
Britain that created Nigeria doesn't see secessionist movements as illegal, which is why Britain is unlikely to extradite Kanu
Why do you people sound like Nigeria is not a sovereign country and like Britain has a say in our proceedings?
That's how you people expected Trump to invade Nigeria and create Biafra.
Kanu is an insurgent who wanted to start a civil war, raising an illegal armed militia who went around killing Nigerian security personnel.
Keep waiting for Britain to send commandos to rescue him.
Providence2020: Am I really the only one seeing the California license plate there. If this story says it's in benin then why is the damaged vehicle spotting a different country's license plate?
What kind of journalism is this?
There must be something in the water northerners drink cos I fail to understand the obsession with southern affairs, it's not like there isn't actual terrorism going on in the north. Feed your hungry children, clothe them too, if not they'll always be recruited for banditry and terrorism. You guys have a major societal problem, the real tragedy is that we have to share the same consequences of your unwise decisions.
But One day the number of literate Nigerians will finally overshadow the number of illiterates and that power will speak with the ballot, an educated society that will finally agree to sit down and deconstruct this contraption so everybody can go their separate ways without meaningless bloodshed. I've seen this and it is inevitable.
Import cars sometimes come with their foreign license plates. It did say they bought the car 2 days before the incident.
TUANKU: Okay, thanks for taking the time to explain and educate me on this. We learn everyday and i have learned something new from you. I really appreciate. I wish you a nice weekend ahead.
traihit: Your style is the nice way to show uniqueness.
Sometimes we're tempted to say 'Black man has some fundamental problems that makes it difficult for him to rule himself well'. Other times we remember people like Thomas Sankara who paid prices for the vision they have for their people.
Certain weapon platforms are prohibited, especially to protect technical capabilities. Even the F22 is not for sale to any country, including the traditional US allies.
Average9jaman: 1 apache chopper can wipe out half of sambisa forest.
Only 2 apaches can wipe out the whole boko haram
Apaches with TADS can shoot from miles away... silently and unseen...safe from AA guns.
But I prefer the use of 50mm cannons, cluster bombs, napalm, and white phosphorus to really neuter those Boko and bandit bastards. They should suffer before they die.
TUANKU: Educate me why it's a wrong choice for fighting insurgents. Since the F16 is a multi role fighter jet i thought it will make a good piece of hardware. I might be wrong.
It's too fast. That's why it's also called Fast Mover. Sure with a great targeting pod it can knock off SAM sites and radars and even convoys, but it's not ideal for counterinsurgency where you're basically taking out people on foot and in technicals. Most often it needs laser designation from the ground which isn't always ideal.
You need slow movers, such as the A10 warthog and the Super Tucanos, and helo gunships, to loiter for long CAS and fire cannons, hellfires, and other antipersonnel weaponry.
Geenosko: Forcing prices is a big error For starters, these guys pay for content in USD, we all know the exchange rates.
Does Nigeria have 247 power supply?
C'mon
The cost of doing business is factored into their prices. For instance the NCC sets a floor and ceiling for Telco pricing so that they remain competitive and sustainably in business.
If there's no regulation DSTV can arbitrarily hike their prices whether or not external factors change just increase their revenue to the detriment of their customers, who are equally affected by dollar fluctuations.
obiekunie01: DSTV is not a government agency it is a private owned business federal government has no right to dictate the price of their services!
Will government also subside their operational cost??
IF YOU CANT AFFORD DSTV THEN GO FOR OTHER CHEAPER ONES! PERIOD.
It's a private business in a regulated industry. In such a scenario the regulator can ensure fairness in pricing and healthy competition to protect consumers from predatory practices.
All you people saying it's impossible for her to have killled him... what's so impossible about it? Hers is certainly not the first case of murder of a male by a female.
None of you know the circumstances of the murder. She could've blindsided him, he could've been asleep, he could've been drugged or tired or any number of debilitating factors.
Most often the simplest probability is the truth: and the simplest explanation is two went in, only one walked out with the victim's properties and money. She clearly killed him for his money, period.
Why was Maryam Sanda sentenced to death for stabbing her husband to death, and why aren't the same fallacious arguments presented by you lot same as in this case? Maryam's husband was not asleep, drugged, or drunk. There was a struggle and she killed him.
Oh. Maryam is a hausa muslim, and this jezebel is christian igbo.
