I left Lagos for Owo yesterday and went to church through that route this morning and returned around 11:50am through that same route... Just about 10min after the I heard a loud bang and the rest is the news flying around online...

A Catholic church located around Owaluwa beside Olowo's palace in Owo has been bombed about an hour ago and the Rev. Has been taken away to an unknown destination.

The number of casualties can not be confirmed now. Several church services near the incident were forced to abondoned while many people were seen looking alternative route to their respective destinations.

No arrest were made at time of the incident but rescue mission is ongoing.

It has been confirmed that the perpetrators of the dastard act are from Fulani extractions.

Over 50 people has been confirmed dead and still counting....

I have a big probem.

I'm always peeping on my neigbhours/friends unclothedness when ever they are taking their bath.

It all started six years ago during my ND in school, & up till now, i'm still living with it.

During my ND, there is no famale tenant that i didn't see her unclothedness to more than a million time, even when i went back for my HND, i did thesame thing.

I've been doing this for six years, and i've never being caught. Sometimes i ask God; why was i not being caught all those times in school, why didn't GOD want me to get caught.

It seems i can't live without it.

Aa a kid, I've been stripped naked for 7 days before. Every morning , a prophet would bath me inside a hole dug in d ground using rain water that was collected directly (without letting it touch any roof or zinc)

As regards to the topic...

The bike man and my mum fell into a mud-water pothole. It was canceled.

So, they didn't meet d prophet.


About 2 weeks later, we heard stories on d TV and radio of a popular native doctor that has denounced his membership and was exposing anyone that has ever visited him.

Those mentioned where tortured and killed by d youths.

That 'native doctor' was d exact person (bigger prophet) mum was going to meet when he had those accidents.

Hanke’s Annual Misery Index has rated Nigeria as the 11th most miserable country in 2021.

According to the report, which analysed 156 countries by calculating their unemployment rates, inflation, prevailing lending rates and GDP growths, Nigeria went from 15th among the most miserable countries in the world’s ranking in 2020 to 11th in 2021.


According to the report, the five least miserable countries were Brunei, Switzerland, China, Taiwan, and Japan. The United States ranked 95th, making it the 14th least miserable nation of the 108 countries on the table.

The latest report by the economic expert once again underlines the instability of the Nigeria’s economy in the last seven years, captured by two recessions between 2016 and 2019.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the consumer price index (CPI), which measures inflation, increased to 15.92 percent year-on-year in March 2022. Figures by the NBS also pegged Nigeria’s unemployment rate at an all-time high of 33.3 per cent.

The latest figures bring Nigeria’s misery index points to 49.22, a significant uptick from the 41.12 index points recorded at the start of Buhari’s term.

In a recent report titled, “Africa Faces New Shock as War Raises Food and Fuel Costs,” the International Monetary Fund, in its Regional Economic Outlook, said that it expected Nigeria’s economic growth to slow to 3.8 per cent this year from last year’s 4.5 per cent.

The report said the effects of Russia’s invasion on Ukraine would be deeply consequential, eroding standards of living and aggravating macroeconomic imbalances.

“We now expect growth to slow to 3.8 per cent this year from last year’s better-than-expected 4.5 per cent, according to our latest Regional Economic Outlook. Though we project annual growth to average four per cent over the medium term, it will be too slow to make up for ground lost to the pandemic.”

Inflation in the region is expected to remain elevated in 2022 and 2023 at 12.2 per cent and 9.6 per cent respectively—the first time since 2008 that regional average inflation will reach such high levels, the report said.

Each time I remember what we have as a country nowadays compare to what I use to know while growing up in the 80s, my spirit wept. Imagine the kind of economy we had and what lack of visionary leaders has cost us as a nation.

Well, we were far more productive in 1980 than we are today.

In 1980 the key reasons for economic growth were as follows:

1. We were a net exporter of refined petroleum products. Today we import all our refined petroleum products.

2. We rode in locally assembled cars, buses and trucks. Peugeot cars in Kaduna and Volkswagen cars in Lagos.

3. Leyland produced trucks/buses in Ibadan and ANAMCO in Enugu also produced buses and trucks.

4. Steyr in Bauchi produced our Agricultural tractors. And it was not just Assembly, we were producing many of the components:

5. Vono products in Lagos produced the vehicle seats.

6. Exide in Ibadan produced the batteries, not just for Nigeria but for the entire West Africa.

7. IsoGlass and TSG in Ibadan produced the windshields.

8. Ferrodo in Ibadan produced the brake pads and discs

9. Dunlop produced Tyres in Lagos and Mitchelin Tyres were produced in Port Harcourt. And I mean tyres produced from rubber plantations located in Ogun, Bendel and Rivers State.

10. We were listening to Radio and watching television sets assembled in Ibadan by Sanyo.

11. We were using refrigerators, freezers and Airconditioners produced by Thermocool and Debo.

12. We were putting on clothes produced from the UNTL Textile Mills in Kaduna and Chellarams in Lagos. They were Not from imported cotton but from cotton grown in Nigeria.

13. Our water was running through pipes produced by Kwalipipe in Kano and Duraplast in Lagos .

14. Our toilets were fitted with WC produced in Kano and Abeokuta.

15 We were cooking with LPG gas stored inside gas cylinders produced at the NGC factory in Ibadan.

16. Our electricity was flowing through cables produced by the Nigerian Wire and Cable, Ibadan; NOCACO in Kaduna and Kablemetal in Lagos and Port Harcourt.

17. We had Bata and Lennards Stores producing the shoes we were putting on. The shoes were not from imported leather but from locally tanned leather in Kaduna.

18. We were mainly flying our Airways, (the Nigeria Airways), to most places in the world. The Nigeria Airways was about the biggest in Africa at the time.

19. Most of the foods we ate were grown or produced in Nigeria.

We were producing all of the above and many more in 1980.

Today, we import almost everything. Isn't that alarming?

There lies the source of the terrible exchange rate we are experiencing today and everyone reading this has a critical role to play in reversing this very UGLY trend.

We have been talking about these problems and more for ages.

It is not enough for us to complain about the exchange rate or point out what others are not doing or are failing to do. The key questions are:

1. What are we producing now?
2. What role are our so- called Leaders/ Politicians of today playing?

We are forever shying away from responsibility whereas it is a stack reality and if we don't deal with it, it won't go away. In fact it will get worse.

2023: Nigeria on the match again; To our dear Politicians, if you don't have the capacity to RESET Nigeria to what it was at least back in 1980 then please stay in your house and don't waste our time. This is what we need from you.

He will have to fly using Turkish Airlines. Turkish Airlines is part of the STAR ALLIANCE network. They have an interline agreement with Copa Airlines which is a Panamanian Airline that flies to several countries in Central and South America. Guyana is located in South America.

What is an interline agreement? It is a voluntary commercial agreement between individual airlines to handle passengers traveling on itineraries that require multiple flights on multiple airlines.

So, tell your friend to go to the Turkish Airlines office located at Plot 1061 Leadway House, 1ST Floor, Herbert Macaulay Way, Abuja . Tell him to tell Turkish Airlines that they should book his ticket in such a way that he will fly from Lagos or Abuja to Istanbul Turkey using Turkish Airlines.

Then change flights in Istanbul Turkey to another Turkish Airline flight going to Panama. From Panama he will catch Copa Airlines which will take him directly to Guyana.

Once he checks in his luggage, he will get his luggage at his final destination which is Guyana. He does not need to pick up his luggage in Istanbul and Panama and check it back in. Also, he will not be charged multiple times for his airline ticket. He will be charged a one time round trip airline ticket despite the fact that he will need to transit through 2 different airports located in 2 different countries.

Also, he does NOT need a transit visa for Turkey as long as he does not intend on exiting the airport while on transit. He also does NOT need a transit visa for Panama as long as he is not exiting the airport and his transit wait time within the airport is within 12 hours. So, as long as he does not have to wait longer than 12 hours in the airport in Panama for his flight connection to Guyana, he will be fine.

So, let me show you how the itinerary will approximately look like using the actual airport codes in bracket. Let's assume his city of departure in Nigeria is Abuja. It will look like this:

Abuja (ABV) to Istanbul (IST) to Panama (PTY) to Guyana (GEO)

Let me give you the name of the airports:

ABV : Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja

IST : Istanbul Airport (Turkey)

PTY : Tocumen International Airport (Panama)

I just want to add that I am neither a travel agent nor do I work for Turkish or Copa Airlines. I was once in your friend's shoes. I needed to travel to that region of the world directly from Nigeria and found myself wondering on how to get there since acquiring a transit visa for a 1st world country from Nigeria can be so difficult. God showed me the way after I unsuccessfully tried to figure it out on my own and I was able to travel and get to my destination successfully. Hence, my decision to assist you and everyone else reading this thread with this travel information.

Anyone traveling to South and Central America or to Jamaica from Nigeria is advised to use this route especially if you are traveling with a Nigerian passport and you don't have a transit visa for the UK, USA and the likes.

Also found another fruit. Not sure what it is called in Nigeria though. The ackee is another member of the soapberry family, much like the longan and the lychee. It is a tricky fruit to eat, because if it is not eaten properly, the fruit can lead to vomiting, a coma or even death.

The only edible part of the fruit is the yellow flesh that surrounds the seeds. This part can also only be eaten when the fruit has turned red and split open. However, some who have tried the fruit do claim that it is worth the risk.
